Eva's POV..

Isa run to open the door and Alexander also stood up wiping his face with towel,his face was neutral. Maria's face also broke a huge smile as she also run to open the door but I!!

I just keep sitting there looking at my plate. I was so shocked that it took me few minutes to register that what was happening.
I hurriedly stood up I staighned my dress with my hand. Running my hands on my hairs in attempt to make then look more presentable.
Don't know why I was so nervous, and why can't I be!!
My would be In- laws were in the door and I was going to meet them for first time and I was informed about it few minutes before!!

I took a deep breath to clam my beating nerves and looked towards the entrance where a lady in her early fifties and a little older men was standing. They were smiling down at Isa, I looked little around to see a girl around my age or little older than me, who's hairs were red standing with them. She looked up and run toward me. I took a step back but then she changed a direction a little and fall in ....Alexander arms??
He was at standing beside me?

Ohh!

She was running toward him!!

Quite embarrassing...

"Brother" she greeted him while shouting. He smiled at her and hugged her back.

The couple also looked at them with love in there eyes especially the woman. The smile on her face was so like she was in joy. Like she was looking at the best scene of her life.

Alexander released her and then move toward the couple, he hugged the man greeting him. Then he moved toward the lady. He hugged her with a soft smile in his lips. The same smile he give to Isa. Whispering something in her ear he released her and then lovely kissed the side of her head. I looked at then in awe.

He loved her a lot...

I didn't shared this type of bond with my mother so it was quite emotional for me to look at the very lovely scene.

I was standing on the corner looking at them when that redhead girl noticed me.

"Who are you?" She asked boldly. Her voice was just like her brother controlling and dominating type. Her voice was demanding answer. Before I say anything Alexander said.

"Emily meet Eva, my fiance and Eva meet Emily my sister " he introduce us.

As he introduced us I smiled at her but a gasp left her mouth and she took a step back like she was shocked as hell. My smile slowly fade away because of her reaction.

"Brother she is the one?!" She asked in disbelief. Her face wasn't looking pleased much so I slowly took a step back and unknowingly toward Alex.

He raised his eyebrows like he it was matter of fact.

"Yes she is!" He said. This time his tone was little changed.

"I can't believe it! You chosed her!! You have many other options. I-I means... why her? ." she said swinging her hand in air little dramatically. Saying this all she looked at me from head to toe making me little uncomfortable.

"She can't be the one! She-she is not even of your standard! Look at her!" She again said this all.
I really felt little bad when she said this all. How can she just judge me like this in our first meeting.

I bite my lips because the way she said all those word and the way she looked at me made me feel like I am some disgusting creatures or so ugly to be worthy of slight smile!

I was about to turn around and leave without saying a word because I didn't want to create a sence in our very first meeting but stopped hearing a loud voice.

"Enough Emy" Alex and that lady yelled at the same time for which I am grateful to them.That girl Emily clenched her jaw and crossed her arms around her chest.

She glanced at everyone and then went somewhere upstairs hitting her foot on ground with great force.

As she left a lone tear came out which I wiped quickly and turned to leave but that lady stooped me by holding my hand softly.

"Dear I am so sorry in behalf of her. Please forgive her" she said looking me hopefully.

"N-no its ok" I managed to after swallowing the lump form in my throat.

"No its not! I know she was little harsh but believe me she isn't like this its just she is very much possessive about her brother " she tried to convince me but I returned I just give her a nod with a smile. I really was hurt but I didn't want to make a judgement for her in our first meeting like she did of mine.

"Ohh my God! Where are my manners!" saying this she laughs a bit waving her hand in air. The atmosphere which was tensed a little while ago, she was trying to make it light. So I also played along.

"I am Nora. Alex's mother and this is David Alex's father and we both know you are Eva our would be daughter in law! right?" she said full in excitement smiling at me softly making me smile a bit too. I nooded at her and she engulfed me in a warm hug.

"Oh My! You really are so beautiful " she complimented making me blushed.

"Thank you Mrs. Knight " I said her After she released me she said while laughing a little.

"Ohh dear please call me Nora or mom as Alex do. Don't act formal, afterall you are going to be my daughter in law in 2 days"
She said and looked at that person, I smiled at her and nooded my head. I moved towards that person and he also hugged me sidewise and told to call him david or dad as Mom said. After that I they started to talk with Isa and get comfortable on sofa while Maria was serving them something to drink. I just keep standing there, her words were running in my mind.

In next two day I will be married!!

Am I ready for that??

I was in my own world when I felt like someone was tugging me. I looked down to see Isa standing there with pout.

"What happene baby??" I asked kneeling down at her.

"I am huwngry " she said in her cute baby voice with a pout. I smiled at her and kissed her pout, picking her up in my arms I went inside the kitchen.

Making her sit on the island I took her food , she was looking at me and then at her plate.

"Mummy I waunt to eat cake" she demanded showing me her puppy eyes.

"Ok! We will have it but first you have to complete this . Come" I told her but she shoor her head.

"No I waunt cake!" She demanded this time showing me her fake anger by crossing her arms around her chest.
She really look so cute in this position.

She is like Alexander he never asked anything or never request about something, they both just demand or order.

Both daughter and father are same!

Huffing I went toward my daughter who was still showing me her fake anger. I was trying my best not to smile or laugh but I was failing.

Encircling my arms around her I took her in my arms, "how about you finish this and then we will make cake together" I proposed that in order to make her agree for eating her breakfast.

She looked at me that instant as those words were out from my mouth.
"Really!! We will make it!??" She asked still looking at me with slight big eyes and mouth open. I nooded at her smiling and she jump from my arms and then jump on her place.
She was jumping and screaming that mummy will make cake, I will make cake! I laugh loudly at her and then again picked her in ky arms.

"But first you need to finish this" i said pointing towards the plate while rubbing my nose to her and this time she nooded her head eagerly.

I went out with her on my arms and made her the sofa. I just totally forgot that his parents were also there and they are sitting there on the hall.

I sat on the chair and Isa sat on my lap like always and bend a little on my chest, adjusting herself too comfortably in my lap. I just smiled at her and then made her eat her food.
Whole time she was barbering about cake and how will she make it, she will add this or that , she will tell her papa also. And I was just listening to her with a humm but my main focus was on feeding her properly. She didn't have her dinner last night properly and today morning she was running here and there and having her breakfast carelessly.

"No! I am fuol" she said showing me her stomach with a puppy eyes.

"Just a little " I said with a puppy eyes like her. She shoot her head and I was about to say something when I heard someone's voice.

I turn to see Nora ,Alexander's mother standing there looking at me with a smile.

"Let her go" she said and her voice was soft not a bit like her son who just order me.

I wanted to say something but then I looked at Isa who was now little sleepy, she was buried her face in my chest and I run my hand on her hairs. She must be tired as she was running since morning and also it's her habit to sleep after having her meal everytime.

I made her comfortable in my lap and looked up to see Alexander's mother sitting on the next chair.

She was looking at me like she wanted to figure out something. But then she smile a bit.

"You really love her. Don't you?" She asked with a smile. I nodded my head smiling looking at my daughter who was sleeping peacefully.

"I love my daughter sooo much " I said hugged the sleeping doll closely. Hearing my answer her eyes get moist a little and something flashed in her eyes. She again smiled at me and it was a genuine one.

"I know from childhood it's her habit to sleep even after eating a little " she said and I agreed with her.

"I know! She is all active but as she eat her meal she really need a nap" I said. After that we talked a little. She was talking and looking at me like she wants to figure out something. But I just jerked that thought that came to my mind.

After little chit chat I got up to put Isa on her bed. It was late in afternoon already and I also have to leave.

As I stood up Nora also got up and said. "It was nice talking to you child. Again I am sorry about Emily's behaviour. Hope you won't be minding her! " with a light hug and smile with hopeful eyes she said that all.

I just nodded at her not wanting to make her feel sad. It wasn't her fault about that girl Emily's behaviour.

I said the same and I turn my heels and went toward Isa's room. Putting her on her head I tugged her to sleep. She strings a little in her sleep so I just patted her forehead a little to make her go back to sleep.

After I tugged her i made my way out. I needed to inform Alexander that I was leaving. I roam here and there in the house in hope to find him somewhere but didn't. I spotted Maria in garden doing something. May she know where he is. In this hope I went toward her.
"Hyy Maria " I greeted her gaining her attention as well.

"Oh! Hlo Eva" she turned towards my returning my greeting.

"Umm... do you know where is Alexander??" I asked her hopping of an answer but in return she just looked at me raising her eyebrows.

"Oooo Alexandererr?? Did I heard that Eva?" She teased making me blush a little. I used to call him Mr. Knight first, and it was the first time I was calling him by his name not by Mr.knight.

She laughed a little seeing me like this. Pouting and showing that I was angry was about to turn but then she controlled herself and said

"Ohh Eva! You really are cute! " she says pulling my cheeks.

"And yes, about your question about Alexanderrr he is in his office " she again tried to tease but I just nooded and turn to go towards him.

As I was standing in front of his office door I heard someone Alexander's voice. I was about to turn and go but I heard what he said and my curiosity kicked best. I just stood there. I didn't wanted to hear there talk but my curiosity was on peak!

"Whay do you think about her?" I heard him asking but this time his voice wasn't dominant or demeaning, it was soft.

"She isn't like her! She is different, a good different " this time Nora's voice come in her usual soft voice.

About whom they are talking??

"Hmmm" I heard his Hmmm.

"Alex I like her, she is a good choice" I heard Nora's voice again.

I didn't heard his any voice so I took a step further to hear but suddenly suddenly the door open revealing Alexander.

I was shocked would be understanding. I looked up to see him narrowing his eyes looking down at me. My foot keep rooted on the ground. Duking my head down I was about to turn. I didn't dare to look up at him.

I cursed myself and my the curious cat inside me. Biting my lips I turn around to leave as soon as I can. But my luck wasn't on mt side I stopped hearing his boomed voice.

"Eva"

I am dead!!

"Come here"

I am sorry for making you all wait for the update but from now I will be giving slow updates because I want to complete my other book first. To my completed my first book. But don't be sad I still be giving updates here in some time interval.
