CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE

AENORA AND DAEMON WALKED
arm in arm down the large walkway while their children walked in front of them. Aenora was around two months pregnant and loved taking walks in the fresh air.
Though, this was the last walk she'd be able to take for at least two weeks since she was to return to Kings Landing for Rhaenyra and Laenor Velaryons wedding.
While Aenora, Daemon, and the rest of their family were waiting for the boat and their things to be readied, she decided to go for a short walk to take in the fresh air while she could.
As they reached where the sand and stone met, Max, Alex, and Aeva all began to run and chase each other. Aenora smiled. She was happy she was going to have another babe. Aenora just loved being a mother.
Daemon pulled Aenora to him, kissing her lips then her forehead.
"You're sure you should be traveling?" He asked, placing a hand on her stomach.
"I am sure," Aenora stated. She smiled at his concern.
Daemon pressed his lips together. He was worried. In his opinion she shouldn't be traveling, due to how hard Aenoras previous pregnancies have been. He didn't want to put her under any sort of stress.
Aenora, too, was also worried, but she was determined to attend her little sisters wedding. She wouldn't miss it for the world. Especially, after the events that had happened recently concerning the throne.
Rhaenyra wasn't at all mad that Aenora was named heir instead of her. She thought it a good thing, she thought it was Aenora who should've been heir all along. The only thing Rhaenyra was upset about was what Daemon did to her and her sister.
"The maester said you are doing well then?" Daemon questioned.
"Yes, Daemon, I and our child are fine. I feel fine, there is no need to worry," Aenora assured with a hug.
Daemon wrapped his arms around his wife and rested his head against the side of hers. "Promise to tell me if you feel the slightest bit different, Nora."
"I promise, my love." Aenora said.
Aenora and Daemon stayed in the embraced position, until Aeva pushed Daemons leg and reached for Aenora.
"Oh, sweet Princess." Aenora laughed.
Aenora was about to pick up her daughter when Daemon hugged her again while making direct contact with Aeva.
"Mama!" Aeva whined.
Jaelyx and Rhaemax heard their sisters distressed voice and ran towards the scene.
"What's wrong?" Rhaemax asked his sister.
Jaelyx, unlike his brother, quickly figured out what was wrong. The small boy giggled.
"I want mama," Aeva tugged on Aenoras dress.
Daemon smiled deviously at his children before turning both him and Aenora, so that she was out of their sight.
"Mamas mine." Daemon said as he and his wife chuckled.
Jaelyx stood there, amused, while Rhaemax and Aeva pushed Daemons leg in attempt to move him.
Aenora enjoyed watching Daemon play with the children. It was rare for her to see him in this manner, and she liked it. She never could imagine Daemon as a father before, but now that he was he was more gentle and soft, but protective at the same time.
She swore if anyone were to even look at their children wrong he'd go ballistic.
After awhile of trying to move Daemon away from Aenora, both children gave up and sat themselves on the sand. Aeva pouted, but Rhaemax got distracted with playing with the sand.
Daemon looked down to the two children and picked them up.
"You two, and Alex, are also mine," Daemon said with a smile.
Jaelyx walked to his mother with his hands up, signaling that he too wanted to be held.
Aenora gladly lifted the boy into her arms, "My little Prince's and Princess."
Daemon looked at his wife in awe. She was absolutely beautiful, even more so while holding their child. She was meant to be a mother.
Rhaemax wiggled in Daemons arms, wanting to be put down. He didn't like being held for long, he'd rather walk or run.
Soon the three siblings were back to playing and running around while Daemon and Aenora watched.
"We raised beautiful children," Aenora looked at her husband.
"You did, Aenora." Daemon told her.
Aenora rolled her eyes at the man. "Forget that. We are raising beautiful children."
Daemon grinned as he put his hand on her stomach, "And we'll raise many more."
"Are you trying to build your own personal army, Daemon? Be honest." Aenora laughed. "Because I feel like you are. You're already going to be a king, I don't think you need another army."
"I have no desire for an army. We just create beautiful and special children," Daemon smirked. "And I also can't seem to... stay out of you."
Aenoras eyebrows rose at the statement, "Seven hells, Daemon."
"What? I was deprived of you for three years, my love, I have a lot to make up for." Daemon said.
"Gods, we are going to have an army." Aenora shook her head.
Daemon looked at his wife in amusement before turning back to the children.
"Our sons are tall and strong for their age. They'll make monstrous knights," Daemon said.
"Max definitely. Alex seems more interested in knowledge," Aenora tilted her head.
"They both will be," Daemon stated. "They'll just be better in different aspects."
Aenora silently agreed. Either way, both Max and Alex were good at anything they did, as well as with Aeva.
Aenora huffed in amusement at her thought. "You're never going to let Aeva marry, are you?"
Daemon gave his with a side-eyed look, confirming her thought.
"Even if she wants to? You won't let her?" Aenora asked.
"She can once I'm dead," he replied.
All Aenora could do was laugh. She didn't want her daughter, nor sons, to grow up and leave. Though, she knew it was bound to happen one day. A day which her father had told her about.
