[Just imagine her with brown hair, please.]

It was a Friday night and the girls stood in the Teller kitchen to prepare dinner for everyone. No one wanted to say it but, Gemma's family dinner's are missed. It had been three months since Gemma was out of town and the club barely came together anymore. Sure, they still saw each other almost on a daily basis but only for club business. Once things were settled, most went home to their families or minded their own business.

It had been always Gemma bringing them together for family dinner, making sure their Old Lady's and also the kids sat at least one night each month together. Now, that the SAMCRO Queen was gone, no one made sure that it would continue like this. It was Lyla who called the girls and asked if they'd be interested in continuing the tradition. Cleo and Dawn didn't think about it twice and agreed with Lyla to do it.

Since it was always at Gemma's house they needed to find a new place and decided to go with the Teller house. Cleo told Jax about their plan and the blonde biker's mood lightened up immediately. For him, it meant a lot that his Old Lady, Lyla and Dawn would bring the club back together again for family dinner's. It showed how different Cleo was from Tara. His ex wife would've never done this. Hell, Tara always hated those family gatherings.

Jax even bought a new table, one that was big enough with enough chairs so everyone had a seat. It was narrower than Gemma's house, which by the way has been sold, but the main thing was that everyone would be able to sit together more often again. Something Jax wished would've never changed after Gemma left.

"Can I help you ladies with something?" Jax leaned against the doorframe, a smirk plastered on his face as he watched the three women cook and bake.

Dawn was chopping vegetables and feta cheese for the salad and Lyla did some baking while Cleo was the one responsible for the cooking. The girls knew Cleo was the best at cooking since she learned it from her mother and the cook at their diner, so they left that part to her.

"Not in here but you can set the table if you don't mind. Ask Abel to help you, he loves to do that", Cleo chuckled, still amused that Abel, a not even five year old yet, loved to set tables. She assumed he loved it because it made him look like a big kid, which was every child's goal at that age⸺ to be a big kid.

"Yeah, I'm still surprised about that", Jax let out a laugh and shook his head before he pushed himself off the doorframe to get enough plates out of the cupboards first. "So, what's for dinner?"

"We decided to go with Lasagna, a greek salad and Sopapillas for dessert", Lyla explained excitedly, a wide smile on her face as she spoke.

"Huh?", Jax raised a brow. "What's the last thing?"

"Wait, you never made them for him or the boys?", Dawn asked with a smirk. "You even made them for me and you know me since when, a year maybe? I feel honored."

"I didn't make them for you, you just came at the right time when we offered them at the diner", Cleo corrected her friend with a laugh and wiped her hands clean on a kitchen towel before her eyes met Jax' piercing blue ones. "To answer your question⸺ they are fluffy, puffy and super delicious dough squares deep fried to perfection."

Dawn snickered and Lyla joined in with a giggle while Jax' smirk just grew wider at how passionate his Old Lady talked about food, causing the brunette to roll her eyes and snort a laugh.

"You guys are idiots. You know I love food", she told them defensively, putting her hands on her hips.

"Yeah, you definitely picked the right job", Lyla hummed after she shoved the pancakes in the oven before starting with the Sopapillas.

"Alright, I'll leave you girls alone." Jax picked the plates up and pressed a soft, loving kiss on his girlfriend's lips, then he left the kitchen to put the plates on the table before calling for Abel to help set the table.

Cleo got back to cooking and the girls chatted about God and the world but mostly about Dawn and Enrico's relationship and if they were sure it was a good idea to tell Tig and the others today.

"They need to suck it up and let them be happy", Lyla said with a nonchalant shrug and smiled sweetly at her friends. "I mean, Enrico is a great guy and the Sons and Mayans don't have a war going on."

"And my brother is amazing. I don't think Tig will be angry or pissed just because he's in a different club", Cleo said confidently. She loved the Sons, every single one of them but she wouldn't accept them saying one bad word about her brother just because a different patch was on his back. But she also didn't expect that someone would say something bad. Everyone was used to the fact that Enrico was a part of Cleo's and now also Jax's life. It wasn't uncommon for Jax and Enrico to sit down a few times each month while enjoying a beer together.

Just like Katelynn, Enrico made sure to visit his sister regularly. It wasn't as easy for him since Santo Padre wasn't right around the corner and when he came, he stayed for one or two days before he headed back home. During his visits, Jax and Enrico developed a fairly close friendship, which was also important to Cleo.

"Nah, and if he gets angry then I bat my eyelashes, that always works to get my dad all soft", Dawn stated matter of factly while shoving some of the vegetables into her mouth. "Seems like we have two pieces of good news to share with everyone."

"If they're gonna tell them", Lyla pointed out before looking at the taller brunette, which was Cleo. "Have you and Jax talked about it? I mean, if you're going to tell the others tonight?"

Cleo wasn't the type to act all shy and stay in the back like a frightened animal, yet the nervousness was big tonight. She was sure the other guys would be happy, it was more her brother's reaction she was so nervous about.

"Jax wants to tell them", Cleo informed her friends and shoved the lasagne into the oven. Luckily, the two large molds fit together on the bottom sheet so the cupcakes could continue baking on top without any problems.

"And you don't?", Dawn asked curiously, her eyebrow cocked.

"I do", the brunette retorted quickly. "I'm just so nervous about Enrico's reaction."

"Oh please, Enrico is glad you found someone like Jax after your shitty ex boyfriend", the Trager woman said enthusiastically while she mixed all the vegetables and other ingredients for the salad together. "Stop worrying about that, babe."

"Okay, babe", Cleo mocked, earning herself a playful slap on the arm from her friend before all of them burst out into laughter and got back to random conversations.

Jax' arm was draped over Cleo's shoulder as they sat there with a satisfied smile on their faces. Dinner was better than they had expected and everyone commended the three women for putting in so much work just to get everyone back together. The mood was relaxed and they had all decided together that they had to start making these family dinners regularly again.

It felt like a real family again. All of them sitting around one table, their Old Lady's and kids included. This is exactly how it always was in the past and should be again in the future. That's what the club needed, not just business.

"Guys, listen up, I have to tell you something", Dawn said cheerfully after she stood up to get everyone's attention while Enrico looked up at her with pure love in his eyes.

"Don't tell me you're pregnant, please", Tig thought out loud making everyone snort a laugh while he was actually worried about that. As far as he knew, his daughter was single and he didn't want her to be a single mom.

"No dad, not yet", she smirked at him, knowing very well this probably gave him almost a heart attack. "Enrico and I are together since a few weeks and it would be great if you guys could be happy for us."

"We didn't plan this but⸺", Enrico paused as he got up, too, his arm slipping around Dawn's waist. "⸺but it happened and I promise I'm gonna treat her with respect."

All eyes landed on the pair and then on Tig before anyone dared to react in any way. Most of them just looked at the man with the black curls with curiosity while Happy was the only one with his typical stoic expression while his hand rested on Lyla's thigh.

"You guys weren't shocked when Happy and I made it official that we're together", Lyla spoke up first with a soft smile. "So there's no need to be shocked about Dawn and Enrico's relationship either."

Since she was Ope's Old Lady before he died, everyone was shocked at first that she fell in love with another son. They were shocked in general that Happy would ever claim someone to be his Old Lady and then a woman who once belonged to one of his brothers, yet everyone was happy for them. Lyla deserved some happiness and so did Happy.

"Who said I'm shocked?", Tig asked with a chuckle before he stood up and embraced his daughter first before embracing Enrico afterwards in a brotherly hug.

Both Enrico and Dawn let out a relived sigh, the latter one plopped down on the chair again. "For a moment I wasn't sure if you were going to rip my head off or not."

"Nah, as long as he treats my babygirl well I don't have a problem." While talking, Tig loosely draped an arm over Enrico's shoulder and winked at the man. "I hope you know what happens if you hurt her."

"Dad stop", Dawn groaned, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment.

"It's fine", Enrico chuckled but the look in his eyes was dead serious. "I'm not going to hurt your daughter. You have my word."

"Good..good", Tig nodded, satisfied with the answer and the honesty in the younger man's eyes. "But please, wait with giving me grandbabies. I'm too young for that."

"Aye, come on, they better give ya' a few grandkids before yer' too ol' t' play with 'em", Chibs laughed.

"Yeah, I can see a few grey hairs on your head, brother", Juice smirked, getting a slap on the back of his head since he sat right next to Tig.

"You guys are assholes, you know that?", Tig asked, pretending to be actually hurt before he snorted a laugh.

Cleo smiled at her brother, raising her glass at him before taking a sip of her coke after he flashed her a smile back. She saw the relief in his eyes the moment Tig hugged both of them, showing the couple that he didn't mind them being together at all.

"You ready to tell them?", Jax whispered in her ear, his hand resting on top of hers. His question made her suck in a deep breath but she nodded eventually.

"Yeah, I'm ready", she assured him with an eager smile, waiting for Jax to get their attention. Once everyone was looking at them, a wide smirk formed on Jax' lips.

"Cleo and I are getting married next months", he announced, beaming with excitement as he spoke.

Everyone around the table cheered and stood up to pull them into a tight hug. Lyla and Dawn just shared a brief look and sat there with wide smiles on their faces since they already knew about the news.

"I don't know what's happening here", Katelynn stated, her voice thick with emotion as a smile took over her face before she got up from her seat and walked around the table to pull her daughter and Jax into a hug. "My oldest finally found a decent woman and my babygirl is getting married."

She then backed away and wrapped one arm around Enrico's shoulder and the other around Dawn's, a proud look in her eyes.

"Like, can it get any better?", the blonde woman asked happily.

"Well, yeah, it can", Cleo bit down on her lip nervously and disappeared in the hallway to get her bag. Back in the dining room, she searched in her bag until she found what she was looking for and put the ultrasound image on the table.

"I'm pregnant. At first I wanted to keep it to myself until the first twelve weeks were up, but the doctor said that everything looked fine and that there were only two weeks left before the risk period was over anyway", she told them eagerly and let out a soft chuckle as the whole room got quiet and everyone sat their with a look of pure joy while processing the news.

Her eyes landed on Jax, the man she loved with her whole heart, waiting for his reaction. She thought about telling him first, but she found it better to do it this way. She wanted his brothers to be there, too, when he found out he was becoming a father again.

Jax wasn't able to form a word, not yet. Instead, he stared at the picture on the table, his fingers ghosting over the small white thing in the middle of the picture that he assumed was their baby as a big lump formed in his throat.

Everyone gave their Pres the time he needed but already flashed the brunette supportive and happy looks. Dawn's smile was so wide her eyes almost pinched shut while Lyla had a hand over her mouth trying to keep the tears of joy inside. Her mother on the other hand failed miserably at trying to control her emotions and burst out into happy tears.

"You're..", Jax swallowed hard, his eyes finally landing on his fiancee. He could tell she was just as happy as him, he was just still too shocked to show it. After loosing their baby a few months ago he was afraid Cleo wouldn't want to try again, and he would've accepted it. And now she stood there and told him that she was pregnant.

An overwhelming sense of joy and relief washed over him as he pulled her into his arms. Three months ago he wasn't sure if they'd ever recover from all the recent events but tonight he finally found some hope again. His brothers sat around one table again, kids were playing in the living room and filled the house with laughs and giggles and his soon to be wife was pregnant. Now it couldn't get any better anymore.

"I love you, Cleo. I love you and our kids so fucking much", he mumbled against her hair after she nuzzled her face into the crock of his neck, her arms tightly wrapped around his waist while his hand rested on the back of her head.

"I love you too, Jackson. And I love our babies", she chocked out, feeling the tears burn in the back of her eyes but she did everything in her power to keep them inside. She wasn't sure if it were the hormones or the relief that Jax wasn't mad at her for getting pregnant so soon after their loss.

The blonde pulled back slowly and cupped her face, holding it firmly in his hands as he looked into her eyes with nothing but love and pride.

"This one's gonna be a girl", he said emotionally, the corners of his mouth twitching before he cracked a proud smile.

"How do you know?", she asked in a whisper, her watery eyes staring into his as a smile appeared on her face also.

"I got a feelin', babe", he smirked.

"Well, at least she has already two big brothers who can protect her", the brunette smiled widely.

Before another word could be spoken between the couple, Cleo was pulled into her mother's arms and then Enrico's, both of them just as emotional as she was. Family meant everything to them and they'd protect this baby at all costs.

Jax was given no time to process everything properly as his brothers already planned on getting everything done for the new addition to the family. Normally, it were the women planning all that stuff the moment they found out about a pregnancy, but now his brothers were worse than any woman at the moment, yet Jax knew they were only happy for him and Cleo and wanted to help them as much as they could.

authors note; this is not the end of the story, even if it looks like it. 😂
The next chapter will probably have a time jump of a year but I'm not sure yet!
