THE TEAM WAS seated at the round table, garcia giving them information for a new case. as she was presenting the current case the team will be working on, their eyes shifted from the screen to their tablets with the case files on them. "michael stewart, manhattan's most prolific identity thief. last week, he walked into a government building and stole a computer that contains over 100,000 social security numbers." penelope introduced the unsub.

         penelope continued, "vicap says that tonight stewart will be handing off the laptop to a buyer from romania. NYPD wants our help to arrest them."

         "stewart has stolen over 50 identities, and has stolen over 500,000 dollars as well as other belongings from his victims." derek read from the case file.

         "and the NYPD wants us to take a look at this?" hotch questioned garcia.

         she nodded her head, "they have reason to believe michael's going to kill the buyer."

         "why would he start going for kills all of a sudden? why start now? and why start with the buyer?" jj questioned.

         "he may be selling the computer for the money and after he gets what he wants, he'll make sure he gets the computer back by killing the buyer off. stewart's going to continue stealing identities, but he may start killing off more buyers, either for thrill, because he has to, or both." olivia explained.

         "we'll discuss a plan on the jet, wheels up in 30." hotch said, closing the tablet case, grabbing a few files, and getting up from his seat.

         on the jet, they ended up going over michael stewart's history, and victimology. he always stole the identities of tall white men with blue eyes and dark hair and women with dark hair and brown eyes. they didn't have much time to think of a plan, except for hotch. he thought of something, but didn't want to share until he came up with a more solid plan to follow through. once the team was settled in the precinct, he'd be sharing his plan.

"i want reid and griffins to tail stewart until he makes the drop, and then arrest him and the buyer." hotch firmly stated.

the two agents looked at each other then back at hotch who continued with his plan, "jj, morgan, and prentiss will join them in a surveillance van."

suddenly, they got a call from garcia, hotch answering on the answer machine. "hello, my furry little friends. i hacked into one of the many cell phones michael stewart owns and there was a lot of text messages between him and an unknown number, who has to be the buyer. it appears they'll be meeting in inwood hill park at around 8 pm. i've also done a little digging and he has also made a reservation for two at this fancy, romantic type restaurant, at 6:30."

"good work, garcia. find out who the other person is joining him for dinner and the name of the restaurant." hotch responded.

"will do." she replied, hanging up, a few faint sounds of clicking on the keyboard was the last thing heard from the other end.

a fancy and romantic restaurant, hotch thought. he revised his plan for a minute before speaking up. "new plan. reid, liv, you two will go undercover while jj, prentiss, and morgan will keep an eye on you and stewart. we only have about 6 hours to prep you."

"um, what will our cover be?" spencer asked.

"i have an idea in mind, but i need to go over possible scenarios first. do any of you have something formal you can wear to the restaurant?" hotch asked the both of them.

"i think i may have a suit." spencer replied, coming off as a question as to why hotch would need to know if they have formal clothing. "nothing suitable for the restaurant described." olivia responded.

"jj, you help find liv something she can wear to the restaurant." hotch ordered, jj and olivia nodding and leaving the room. garcia ended up calling the team again, "chelsea vega. that's who he's going to the restaurant with. chelsea's his girlfriend and it's their three year anniversary today. she posted something on her social media and the restaurant is je t'aime on 42nd street. apparently, a lot of couples go there for any special event in their relationship; anniversaries, engagements, etc."

"thank you, garcia." hotch said, garcia hanging up afterwards. emily called olivia and jj to update them and kept them on speaker as the team tried to come up with a fool-proof plan.

         it was 5:48 pm and the team had a little less than an hour to prep. in the past five hours, they were getting spencer and olivia ready for the restaurant. spencer had a regular, dark suit on as jj picked out a black dress and a jacket for olivia to wear, her usual wavy hair perfectly sat on upon her shoulders.

         "did we come up with an actual plan yet?" jj asked, walking into the conference room of the NYPD police precinct with olivia following. when the team noticed olivia, they weren't going to lie, she looked really good. emily scoffed at her loss for words, "oh my god, jj. what did you do to liv?"

         spencer turned around to see what she was talking about, his eyes meeting with liv's. it's like he was studying her. not in a creepy way, of course. he just would've never thought olivia griffins would stand in front of him, looking quite. . . beautiful, really. beautiful seemed like the only word that could pop into his head. and the team knew it. more specifically, derek. morgan placed a hand on spencer's shoulder, "hey pretty boy, close your mouth." he quietly teased, causing spencer to clear his throat a little while derek laughed.

         "i would never wear this dress in real life, but jj practically peer pressured me into getting it." olivia said. jj grinned at olivia, "and you're welcome, by the way."

         "i did finalize a plan." hotch announced. "liv and reid, you both will be going undercover as a newly engaged couple."
