chapter seven
“he doesn't love you”

   they told you and you didnt listen. they told you the symptoms and you didnt listen. your mother cries over her 'baby' and you didn't listen. your father goes on and on about how that stupid boy is killing his daughter and you didnt listen. your doctor says you only have a few days to live, you didnt listen.

   you didnt listen when your mother cries harder or when your dad slams the door after him as he leaves to go smoke. you didnt listen when the doctor tells you, you can die from this if not treated.

  you did listen when your doctor said you can have surgery. but you will forget every single memory you have with him. you'll forget the blush on his cheeks when you sang happy birthday to him. you'll forget the sounds he makes when it's just you two in your room. you'll forget the bakugō katsuki. and you don't want to.

   “yes, yes! we will pay no matter how much it costs just please! please save my little girl.” your eyes snap to your doctor as he nods slowly, writing down on his notepad. “no.” your voice is hoarse as you try and sit up from your hospital bed. “i dont want to.” your mother glares at you, her puffy red eyes staring daggers at your weak form.

    “you don't know what you're saying. you're high on love, in love with some boy who doesn't even love you back!” your mothers screams seem to pass through you harshly as you grip the blanket folded over your legs.

  “yes he does! bakugō katsuki loves me! i adore him! i love him!” you scream back as nurses rush in, your heart racing as monitors start to beep loudly, banging against your temples. “if you went to his house right now he wouldn't even look at you! you love him (y/n) but he will never love you!!!”

    you fall back into your bed, the coughing starting once more as you can feel the vines that grow in your lungs start to twist and puncture your organs. “stop!.. you.. kil..ing... please!” the doctor shouts over your mother who seems to continue her insults. they're all lies.

katsuki loves you.
