MURAYAMA MIDORI WAS THE PRINCESS OF OYA HIGH SCHOOL.

Or at least, that was what people called her due to her older brother being the leader. She didn't really fit in with the school for several reasons. One being that she was the only girl attending. Oya High School was supposed to be co-ed, but with the reputation it built up over the years, it was understandable why no girl would dare to set foot in it aside from her, and that was only because her brother refused to let her out of his sight (though he wasn't doing much of a good job at that; he was so lucky she was a well-behaved kid).

The second reason she didn't belong was also pretty obvious. Oya High School had a notorious reputation of having the worst of the worst in all of Japan. It even had an alternative name "Demon Evil High". It was a national den for yankiis (or juvenile delinquents), but it wasn't just for the typical no-gooders, but the most violent and worst of their kind. Not only that, but the students here continued to repeat a year in order to be scouted for a better place. The average age was literally 23! Meanwhile, Midori couldn't fight, she couldn't even backtalk or win an argument what with her timid and wimpy nature, and she certainly wasn't hoping to repeat any years. The only reason she was able to survive in such a brutal environment was because of her status as Oya's "princess".

But the arrival of Todoroki Yosuke threatened to shake that. He came to Oya High School with a goal and that was to decimate her brother and amass more power. But after that plan went awry, he set his sights on her and that was when her already messy life got even messier. Especially when she went from blanching at the sight of him to blushing...

TODOROKI YOSUKE WAS POWER HUNGRY, AND MAYBE A LITTLE SADISTIC.

Then again, that was what happened to people who used to be in the lower level of the social hierarchy. As a child, he was a bright little thing with an even brighter future. He was born with wealth, had a loving family, and he was intelligent. He wasn't one to show it off (he was a lot more modest as a child), but the perfectly pressed uniforms and the constant praises from his teachers was enough to earn him the ire of the low-lives at his school. Years of bullying from his peers caused him to snap and his bright future started to become littered with the broken bodies of those who wronged him. 

Rather than continuing his education in the prestigious academy his parents approved of, he decided to transfer to Oya High School, a place where the worst of demons gathered. He set his sights for the leader role, wanting to strip Murayama Yoshiki of his leadership over the school and then later on, stand at the top of SWORD. Becoming feared in Oya High school was all too easy for him; he gained instant notoriety for his fighting prowess and for defeating the leaders of the full-time students, Shibaman and Tsuji, without breaking a sweat. Murayama Yoshiki was the last thing standing in his way, but the older man defeated him for all the school to see. At least he managed to solidify his status as the second strongest...

Murayama Midori was his next problem. At first, he hated her for her brilliance and he may or may not have given her a death threat under the assumption that she could fight like her brother (he later found out that she couldn't and accidentally traumatized her a bit, whoops), but now he couldn't get her out of his head. The very thought of her consumed his very being and soon enough, he found himself addicted and craving for more.

FOR A PAIR OF PEOPLE WITH SUCH A HIGH AMOUNT OF BRAIN CELLS, MIDORI AND TODOROKI WERE STUPID.

Their friends were pretty sure those two morons were the only ones oblivious to the sexual tension they radiated with any time the other was near them. They were both attracted to each other, but they were too busy yearning to even realize that their feelings were reciprocated. Midori was too shy and Todoroki was just too proud.

Shibaman and Tsuji were certain that the two could evenly balance each other out; Todoroki would teach her to be more confident and Midori would teach him to be less of an asshole. They were perfect for each other! They just needed that final push (or many many final pushes actually). Shibaman and Tsuji were more than happy to give their friends the push they so desperately needed. Maybe once they finally got together and screwed each other's brains out, things would be less awkward around them.

(Just please, please, please don't tell her brother.)
