Background:

Annalisa was born into a caring family, that truly seemed to care. They raised her in the water, and raised her to be stand offish. They knew the troubles of their tiny island, and knew that their little girl could get seriously hurt. They made sure that she would be a good hearted person deep down, but they didnt want everybody to get to see her true personality right away, other than themselves.

If you remember, Annalisa was pretty much raised learning how to swim. When she was just thirteen, she watched her parents get taken by a rip current, and die. She had then been taken into foster care, and she learned how to pretty much take care of herself. She had loving foster parents, but when she turned 18, she moved out, got her own job, and took care of herself.

She has since gotten a good job, been pretty well off, and spent all of her freetime spending time with children in the water. She has lived an amazing life, and has not shown her trueself to anyone other than the children she taught.
