I entered our huge living room, my expression cold at first, but then I tried to force a smile.
I hugged my dad first, of course.
"Papa ! Comment ça va ? Tu m'as manqué !"
He smiled, hugging me back.
"Tu m'as manqué aussi !"

I glared at my mum, before kissing her cheek, trying not to show any sign that I was mad at her in front of the Scorpions in front of me.
The four scorpions stood up to greet me.

First, I shook hands with my uncle, he smiled cockily, eyeing my body up and down.
I always hated my aunts for this. Now was no exception.
I greeted his wife, Omima, next. ( pronounced Om/ai/ma. )
She looked at my body too.
OK, she's definitely gay or something.

I greeted my cousin, their son, Saeed next.
I expected him to stare at my body like his parents did, but he didn't.
He just gave it a quick glance, but then stared into my eyes, making me uncomfortable, and he smirked cockily.

But there was something weird about his smirk, something that might be evil.
His dark eyes sparkled. Sparkled with darkness.
Why ?
I noticed that my fake smile faded, and I took a quick glance at my brother, who was still greeting Omima.
I quickly pulled away from Saeed, the uncomfortable feeling increasing inside me.
Then I greeted Salma, their daughter, who was actually anything but a girl.
Definitely anything but beautiful.

When we were done, we headed upstairs after.
"Why did he look at me like that ?"
I said to Rajwan as soon as I closed my bedroom door.
"Who ? Ahmed ?"
I shook my head.

"No, forget him ! I meant Saeed ! What did he mean by that look !"
I spoke nervously, a confused expression on my face.
"Look ? What do you mean ?"
He was also confused, maybe because Saeed didn't look at him the same way.

"He looked at me with evil. You now how scary he was ?"
Rajwan rolled his eyes.
"yeah, okay, whatever. I'm just going to sit here until they leave, so.."
He sat on the bed.
"Rajwan, I'm serious.."

But I was too upset to explain.

Later that evening, Allison entered the house, and she saw our uncle, and became mad than ever.
She entered my room, scowling with anger.
"Who brought them here ?"
I rolled my eyes.

"Ask mum."
Of course, she was with Rush, that's why she didn't answer her phone when I tried to call her.
Even when the world is falling apart, Allison has to finish whatever she's doing first, then talking on the phone comes later.

We stayed in my room, until about an hour later.
I kept thinking about the look Saeed gave me, and what it meant confused me even more.

Little did I know that Saeed was the reason my life was ruined later..
