and welcome to a spotlight romance.

before I say anything, I must say this first - there will be parts of this book that are true and/or will have true aspects to it but please note that this book, as a whole, is not real for this is just a story that has come from my mind. it is not my intention (nor will it ever be) to upset, anger or offend anyone as my only intention is to release books and write because I love to do so and because I love Michael.

simple as that.

so I ask, if you do choose to read this book and somewhere along the way feel those things (sadness, anger and/or offence) then please, stop reading! because as I said, it is not my intention.

okay now that's out of the way, let's move on to the book - few key points:

- it's a love story about Michael Jackson's and Ariana Grande's relationship in the public eye.

-Ariana is Australian in this book.

- to start with - Michael is in his mid twenties and Ariana is in her early twenties. They are close in age with Michael being only a few years older than Ariana and they will obviously get older as the story progresses.

- this book will begin in late 2013, onwards.

- Ariana's song 'thank u, next' will not exist in this book. instead, that album will be called 'imagine' (no hate towards that song, it just doesn't make sense for that song to be in the story. yes, I'm referring to the song when I say 'sweetener/thank u, next' but it's for explanation purposes only. once this book begins and the story progresses, the song 'thank u, next' will not exist and the 'thank u, next' album will instead be called 'imagine'.

- this book will have both true and make-believe scenarios happen throughout.

for this book, I will be combining Michael's eras and Ariana's eras together. so there will be a total of eight eras and four era's each (four Michael eras and four Ariana eras) but only two eras from each will be written at the same time - one era for Michael and one era for Ariana will be written at the same time. the eras used for both Michael and Ariana are as follows.

Ariana's eras.
- my everything
- dangerous women
- sweetener/thank u, next
- positions

each era from Michael and Ariana will be matched up to be written at the same time - for example: 'thriller' era Michael will be matched with 'my everything' era Ariana. 'bad' era Michael will be matched with 'dangerous women' era Ariana. 'dangerous' era Michael will be matched with 'sweetener/thank u, next' era Ariana and 'history' era Michael will be matched with 'positions' era Ariana.
