( Hatori pov ) chapter 2

I was just floating in the sea while looking above the surface of the stars, who was he? I wonder could we become friends, I'm interested in what type of person he could be. I'm not sure he cares. "Hatori?" "H-huh?" I looked beside me to see Emi smiling. "Let's get ready for bed okay?" "Okay."

Me and Emi ran to school so we won't be late. "See? This is why you don't stay up so late!" "S-sorry! >.< " once we got to school Emi bumped into this guy. He was pretty tall and had black hair with the lightest brown eyes. "My apologies.." He bowed and walked away. "Um?" Emi looked at him then continued to go to class while I tried to catch up with her.

"What was all of that about?" "Oh I bumped into someone and they apologized even though it was my fault." "Hmm.." Once we got to class we luckily weren't late and we sat at our desks. Then again I saw the boy I met yesterday he was talking to some of his friends. "Hatori what are you thinking about?" "Oh um I'm just thinking." "Like always huh hehe." "Nuuuh uh!" The bell rang and everyone sat at their seats.

The bell rang and everyone went to their classes. I got up and got my stuff ready to go until these guys came up and started talking to me. "Your really cute." One of them kept looking at me while the others just talked. "Go out with me." "Um..no." I wasn't really comfortable with talking to boys so all I could do is just ignore them. I tried waking away but they kept asking the same thing. "No..." "Leave her alone."

I looked behind me and saw chase talking to the guys. They just glared and walked away. "Don't be shy around them, it will make it worse." "B-but I can't help it.." "Then they'll keep bothering you because they'll think you like it." With that he just walked away. I just looked behind me then walked to class.

"Hatori your late." "Um I'm sorry." I sat at my seat looking out of the window beside me thinking. why would he protect me like that? We don't really talk much...so why did he help me? I drew doodles on my paper while thinking to myself. I mean, its not bad that he helped me but...could this mean were friends? I stopped thinking and did my work sheet.

During lunch I didn't see Emi it was only me and lilly. "Where's Emi?" "I'm not sure lilly." I just sat there eating snacks while thinking. "There must be a lot on your mind if your thinking that much." She giggled and took some of my snack. "Um kinda." "What are you thinking about?" "Well, yesterday I met this boy named chase and he just seems mysterious to me...and I'm trying to figure out if he's trying to be my friend or something.. And today he also helped me.."

"Maybe he wants to be friends. Or he could like you hehe." "N-no! There's no way that he likes me we don't even talk much and he doesn't know much about me and neither do I know about him." "Hmm..just talk to him." "B-but I can't ;--;" "don't be a baby I'll be by your side." "F-fine." Lilly smiled and came with me to find him.

"T-that's him!" I pointed to him. "Go and talk." "Nooo come with me." "I'll be right here come on don't be a baby." "Please! Ugh fine." "Hehe." He was in the middle of talking to his friends but I shouldn't interrupt them...but I went over and talked to him anyway. "Um..hi." "Hi." "Well...I just w-wanted to say..thank you for helping me today...um." I smiled and looked at him. "No problem. But be careful. If you need help just ask me." "Alright thank you.." I smiled and started walking to class as the bell rang.

"Emi where were you?" "Oh I apologized to that guy I bumped into. He's really quiet." "Oh okay." The sun started to set once we got home but I stood there waiting for him. Because I had a feeling that he would come.
