"An anime/manga slang term for a character that is cold, blunt, cynical,

and pretty much doesn't care if her beloved dies.

That's what she is on the outside

but she is actually caring and nice on the inside."

Shuu looked down at the book in his hands.

"That's what she is." He said, his blue eyes half closed and tired looking.

He set back the book, his eyes drifting over to the girl who stood in the doorway of the library.

Her eyes were emotionless as she spoke softly.

"Shuu. What exactly am I?" She asked, a hint of annoyance in her voice.

Shuu looked back at the book, then slowly walked to the couch.

(Y/N) sat down instead, looking up at him, crossing her arms.

"Spill." She said simply, her eyes cold.

Shuu sighed, rolling his eyes and running a hand through his blonde hair.

"Get up before I pin you down and sleep on top of you."

"Ooh. Strong words." She said calmly leaning back into the couch and giving him a calculating stare.

His intense blue eyes looked into hers. Footsteps echoed around the room as he walked to her, pinning her down on the couch.

For a moment, her eyes were wide and she stared at him as he rested his head on her shoulder.

"S-Shuu! Your heavy!"

"So? Be quiet." He muttered, trying to ignore the want to drink her blood.

She sighed, staring up at the ceiling. Shuu and her were best friends. 

Recently, (Y/N) had been wanting to come over to his house so they could study together. Today his brother Laito had convinced her to come even though they didn't need to study.

Shuu knew of this, and was determined to keep her away from his brothers.

"Shh. Just stay here with me." He said, shifting off her and instead hugging her close and closing his eyes.

(Y/N)'s face was bright red. Shuu's face was inches from her, his face emotionless and tired as he started to sleep next to her.

She felt his arms tighten around her waist as she tried to scoot off the couch.

Apparently, in the last few seconds, She'd become a human teddy bear.

By now, (Y/N) could hear the heavy breathing of a person who was fast asleep.

Well, It wouldn't hurt to touch that soft pretty blonde hair of his... right?

Tentatively, her hand raised and gently touched a curl of hair. It was a soft as she imagined.

Her fingers longed to touch more. (Y/N) saw herself tangling her hand in his hair and she took in a deep breath as she felt his hot breath blow on her face.

Suddenly, he quickly clamped his hand onto hers, his eyes wide open.

(Y/N) sucked in a breath, completely caught in the act and surprised.

She tried to pull back her hand, except Shuu kept it still, a small smile playing on his lips.

"I-I did not... You-" She was cut off by him licking her neck. (Y/N) flinched, her face showing confusion.

"Shuu?" 

"Don't move..." He said, breathing in her sent, hugging her closer.

Shuu had tried to restrain himself around her, but being so close, he just had to do it. Tell her how much she meant to him.

"I... love you." He murmured, sinking in his fangs.

(Y/N) let out a squeak, her cold attitude being obliterated from his strange actions.

"Your a vampire?"

"Yes. You can run now if you want." Shuu said, withdrawing his fangs from her neck and licking the wound as his hands left her waist.

(Y/N) quickly grabbed his hands, making his gaze go to her face, witch was flushed.

"I-I.... don't mind."

"Oh really? Your full of surprises...." Shuu chuckled, leaning down to kiss her lips.

She responded instantly, her fingers grasping the collar of his sweater, dragging him closer to her.

Who knew that she had longed for this? The emotions rising within her was strange and unexpected.

Yet she welcomed it fully.

He broke away from lack of air, his usually pale cheeks slightly pink.

"You look flustered." (Y/N) said, surprised by the small giggle emitting from her mouth.

Shuu captured her lips a second time, ignoring her.

Maybe she should get angry at him all the time.
