As the eldest child, Zade had a younger brother named Killian, who was nine years younger than him, and a younger sister named Elira, who was eleven years younger than him. The three siblings formed a close bond, supporting and encouraging each other throughout their lives. Zade admired his younger brother's soft and kind nature and was extremely protective of him, while he shared a special bond with his baby sister, often engaging in playful sibling rivalry with the two and taking the role of their mentor in their teen years with quite the age difference. He learned martial arts as a kid and added boxing to his learning skills in high school, continuing both throughout his life. Zade's life took a tragic turn when he met the love of his life, Syera Kim, during his university years. They were inseparable and shared dreams of building a future together. Zade joined the mandatory Korean military service during his college years and chose to continue serving in the military.
