He's a kind and caring individual as long as the person in concern is fit for him according to his standards. He sees the world through his own lens and doesn't have any set boundaries for right or wrong. Rune does what he thinks is right according to the situations he's in. During his time in military, he has made some tough decisions that have changed him for his life. Rune had a very honest and compassionate personality while growing up but as he approached his late teens, he realised that kindness wasn't for everyone and neither was his trust, therefore he doesn't easily trust everyone. In fact he rarely trusts anyone if it isn't his cousin. He has a strong determination and will power and though he has no problem following a right leader, Rune possesses all the good qualities of a focused and calculated leader. He's a survivor and never gives up. He thinks about the future and always has a backup plan in all situations if everything goes to hell.

In his unassuming, understated way, he helps make the world go round.
He's a hardworking and devoted man and feels a deep sense of responsibility to protect those he holds dear to his heart. When he cares for someone, he gives all his heart but rarely demand anything in return for his love and care. He has excellent analytical abilities and an eye for detail. And despite his reserved nature, he has well-developed people skills and a talent for making friends wherever he goes. He can talk to anyone and everyone without any problems. He's very social and doesn't hesitate in speaking his mind whenever necessary. He's a meticulous person to the point of perfectionism. He wants everything done a certain way and doesn't change his mind for anyone. If he has set his mind on something, he achieves it therefore he's also a focused achiever. He comes off as very strong and blunt individual given he isn't afraid of speaking his mind though that may land him in trouble sometimes. He hates being taken for granted and often cuts people off with little to no explanation if they take him and his efforts for granted. Feeling disconnected from his family, Rune sought solace in books and movies as he grew up, immersing himself in fantastical worlds where heroes emerged from adversity. Inspired by their resilience and determination, he yearned for a purpose, a chance to make a difference in the world. His only comfort being the time when he met his cousin, Jasper and the two could play and talk together for hours. Rune grew up to adore Jasper as his own brother and often spent time with him when his parents weren't home. When Rune turned 18, he made a life-altering decision to join the military along with Jasper. It was a path he chose to forge his own destiny, seeking camaraderie, discipline, and a chance to prove himself. He also wanted to financially support his parents in anyway he could and military seemed like the best decision of his life. In the military, he found a sense of belonging he had never experienced before. However, Rune's life took an unexpected turn when a global catastrophe struck, plunging the world into a post-apocalyptic nightmare. A virus had spread, turning people into mindless, flesh-craving creatures. Society crumbled, and chaos reigned.

During one fateful mission along with Jasper, to rescue survivors trapped in a city overrun by the undead, Rune found himself surrounded by a horde of infected people. In a desperate attempt to protect the innocent, he fought valiantly, but a moment of distraction allowed one of the infected to sink his teeth into Rune's arm. Jackson was right there as Rune stabbed a knife in the infected man's neck and pushed it off himself but it was too late for the both of them. The rest of their team had already left and they were left behind to die or maybe they presumed that the two were already dead. The virus coursed through Rune's veins, threatening to turn him into one of the mindless creatures he had fought so hard against but he fought until there was nothing left, until he was on his knees. Unfortunately, Jasper had also ended up bitten in the process of saving Rune, something he can never forgive himself for. He thought that the both of them would die right there or become what they had come to loathe in that new world but miraculously, both of them survived the infection, but he soon discovered that he had developed a remarkable ability along with Jackson. While Jasper's ability allowed him to control electricity, Rune found himself capable of manipulating the air around him. He could control the wind, summon gusts, and create powerful currents. With this newfound power, he became a force to be reckoned with in the fight against the undead.

As Rune embraced his abilities, he decided to permanently leave military and help survivors his own way, find others who were like them and maybe establish a safe home somewhere. It wasn't like anyone was waiting for them back in the military anyway. They were labelled dead the moment their team left them with that horde. With his air manipulation, he could create barriers of wind to shield himself, launch devastating attacks against hordes of infected people, and even create pockets of breathable air in hazardous environments. He used his powers not only for his own survival but also to protect and guide others through the treacherous post-apocalyptic world. Rune's journey was no longer just about finding purpose; it was about using his unique gift to bring light to a dark world.
