🌹personality🌹
-Jade is kind, calm and gentle. She doesn't like to talk a lot and only speaks when spoken too. She does not believe in arguing with anyone or displaying violence. She likes to think over situations and act in the way that would have her unharmed. As a person she is compassionate. She loves to help others and listen to their problems but on the other hand, she doesn't like to talk about herself and her personal life. She has been in an abusive relationship for years and she keeps it a secret thinking one day her boyfriend will love her like he did in high school. She is a positive thinker and has a smile on her face when in the middle of people. She is physically not the strongest and hence people who are stronger than her, make her anxious. She was mildly bullied by her brother throughout her childhood and later when she thought she could finally live her life freely, she found her worst nightmare in her boyfriend. Which is why too well built men make her uneasy. She becomes uncomfortable too quickly when she is questioned about her family as it has always been a sore subject for her.
Jade does not speak her mind on subjects and is easy to decisive. She doesn't always see through a person's lie and would believe whatever she is told. When it comes to herself, she thinks her life would change for the better one day. She is loyal and would never cheat someone. She is an honest person as well. She has never gotten angry at anyone in her life and even when angry, she doesn't take it out on the others. Her anger often results in her crying rather than being loud or talking about it. She is a sensitive person and anything happy or sad brings tears to her eyes all quickly. Maybe it is the result of how she has been pretending to be fine so far in her life and holding those tears back that tears rush so easily to her eyes when she is angered. She thinks about others more than herself, living for them to the point she would forget her own well being, existing to please the one she loves. She had dreams but she gave up on them so she could keep the guy she loves happy. She sacrifices her own happiness and still keeps a smile on her face. She is not the most social person and avoids being in a crowd or among gatherings. She constantly isolates herself and prefers to spend her time with her thoughts.

🌹fears🌹
-abandonment
Jade has been abandoned many times. Her family left her stranded the moment they found out that she was pregnant right after high school and not willing to abort the pregnancy. Her mother flew into rage and disowned her. She was beaten by her elder brother and thrown out of the house, all in absence of her father. They never accepted her after that which left her to live with the father of her baby. She fears that she will be living on the streets if he leaves her and hence does everything in her power to keep him happy.
-losing her son
As someone who's family left her so quickly, Jade is the exact opposite of that. She loves her son with her life and cares for him. She fears that one day she might lose him if she wouldn't be able to provide for him which is why she's so dependent on her boyfriend. She wants to provide a happy family for him and keeps a smile on her face for him. She can live without everything but her son.
-insects
Especially flying roaches and spiders scare Jade for her life. She cannot see them at all. They disgust her and make her skin crawl. She would scream at the sight of a roach or a spider and run for the other corner of the house if she ever encounters one. She can't sit in the same room until someone makes sure that it is gone.
-water
Jade has a deep fear of deep water stemming from a childhood experience when she almost drowned in the lake at one of their lakhouses. She was eight at the time. She was sitting in a boat with her elder brother in the middle of the lake. It was a summer afternoon. Her elder brother was playing with her. He accidentally pushed her and she fell in the lake off the boat. Her brother sat laughing in the boat thinking she was pretending to drown until she passed out and almost sunk to the bottom. She was then saved by him. The incident left her traumatised and she could never learn to swim.
-her son turning out like her
Jade knows that she is not the most perfect person in the world and she is aware of her problems. She is conscious about what is wrong in her life and yet she couldn't do anything to change it so far. She fears her son turning out weak like her. She doesn't want the life she is living for him and wants him to be a strong, confident and caring person who respects everyone, especially women and those who are weaker than him.
🌼strengths🌼
-cooking, Jade started learning to cook right after she left her family home and she was excellent at that just in a year, cooking anything and everything her boyfriend would ask her to eat and see the smile on his face when he likes the food cooked by her.
-lying, overtime Jade got good at lying because of what she had been going through in her personal life, she often had to lie and make it look convincing. She became a pro liar or maybe people never bothered to notice that there was anything wrong with her in the first place.
-patience, Jade has the patience that never runs out. It is almost impossible to annoy or frustrate her. She always has a kind smile on her and she is always listening if one needs a listening ear. She can offer help if she can be helpful and she is always calm.
-considerate, Jade can put herself in other's shoes and think from their point of view. She is not judgemental and she is always thinking about others over herself. She cares for others feelings and problems more than her own and if she thinks someone needs her help and she can help, she would never back down from that.
-painting, Jade is a great painter. She learned it from her father all her life who's a renowned artist himself. She has a great love for art and she can bring pictures to life with just a small pencil or a piece of charcoal.
-studying, despite how her life has been, Jade was a great student throughout her high school and she possesses a great mind when it comes to learning from books and memorising her material which is why she had been able to pursue college even after her current life.
🌼weakness🌼
-accepting help, Jade never shares her own troubles with anyone after being cast aside by her own family. She thinks her problems are only hers to deal with and she can never ask anyone for help unless it's her son's well-being in question. She is stubborn and would not ask for help even if she suffered a great deal.
-swimming, scarred by her childhood event Jade can never venture out to any water body. She dislikes swimming, can't do it for her life and would never go out for a swim, no matter how tempting it seems at times.
-unrealistically optimistic, 'it's alright, he'd be better tomorrow.', 'he is going to change.', 'my family would accept me one day.', 'he loves me.' are some or the lies Jade has been feeding herself for the past five years of her life. She can never be any less optimistic and it is almost annoying because it is impossible to change her mind sometimes.
-her son, Elio is someone who gives her strength and leaves her weak at the same time. She can never see anything happening to him and would do anything to make sure that he is loved and safe. Everything she does and puts up with is for his well being and there's no other way she would want it.
-drinking, Jade has always been someone who hated the idea of drinking altogether. She could never hold her alcohol, getting tipsy with just one bottle of beer or a few sips of whiskey to blackout drunk if she overdid it. Which is why she always tries to steer clear from alcohol.
🌼hobbies🌼
-dancing, when she is alone or has her son to watch her perform in which case he would clap and keep her encouraged and she would have the sweetest smile on her face.
-painting, she rarely paints now, maybe a few sketches instead because the last time she bought a box of colors, she got slapped for wasting money and her boyfriend threw the colors in the trash but she has a collection of her old paintings that grace the walls of their small house.
-gardening, Jade hates flowers but she has a small vegetable garden in the backyard and she likes to work on it when she is alone and has spare time. She grows small vegetable plants there and seeing them grow and bear vegetables makes her oddly satisfied.
-music, because there is nothing else that calms her down. She listens to soft, old songs mostly but it is for when she is all by herself and she can enjoy it in calm.
-collecting coins, a habit she picked up from her father. He would collect rare and expensive coins and it rubbed off on her. She keeps collecting coins even when there is nothing extraordinary about them and has a few piggy banks filled with coins lying around in the house somewhere.

🌹backstory🌹
-Jade's parents married when they were still in their college. Regardless of how Jade's mother reacted to her being pregnant, she was pregnant with Jade's elder brother, Jack at the time of her own wedding. Whitney's fancy, rich family did not approve of it because her father had a blooming career in arts which for them was not really a career. Whitney's parents asked her to choose one between her husband and her family and she chose her husband. She left the city and moved to another to start her own family. However Whitney still had her family's genes and brain. She was smart and she started from the very bottom, building a business empire of her own in the next ten years and has been only climbing up ever since. Jade was born a year after their wedding and was loved by both her parents. She was a spoiled rich girl until she met William in her school. She was fifteen when she saw him for the first time, befriending the new bad boy of the school soon after. They fell in love, or maybe it was just her who fell in love with him. The two shared a relationship all through the next years of high school. Jade was eighteen years old when she found out that she was pregnant. The news was not a good one for her or her family. Her mother disowned her and broke all their ties with her, leaving Jade on her own. She moved in with her boyfriend who happily took her in after finding out what had happened and the cheques that kept coming in Jade's name for a good one year. The cheques stopped after the birth of their son and William started to show his true colors. At first there were small arguments and fights between them and Jade would fight back, argue when he would come late drunk until a year later when he came absolutely drunk and beat Jade up to her near death for dinner being served a minute late, threatening to kill her and Elio if it happened again. Jade changed bizarrely from that night. She never spoke out loud unless spoken too and made sure she was doing everything the way William wanted, living to keep him happy and fulfil his needs. She was pursuing online college throughout but William made her let go of it and she had to quit studying soon after and her world became what was their two bedroom house, her son and an abusive boyfriend she could never escape.
Scenario - One
You were sitting in a small restaurant with your group of friends or maybe it was a few family members. It was a Saturday night and your opinion on the subject of going out didn't matter. You were given no choice at that. You sat talking or maybe eating your dinner while those around you were chatting the night away. Food and drinks filled your table and the laughter was the loudest there. Your eyes took in the restaurant and you were looking around to see who else was there. In the corner of the room, you saw a couple sitting there with a boy not much older than five. Your table not being far from the small family and being absolutely bored by the conversation, you moved your attention to them. Your eyes were on the little boy at first and you did not know what was going on, on the other side of the table. The boy had a stuffed toy in his hand, playing with it while being fed by who seemed to be his mother. A woman no older than you dressed in a full sleeved white shirt and a pair of blue skinny jeans, sitting beside a man probably your age who had his arm around her shoulder while he drank his liquor. You could not see the kid's expression but your eyes seemed to take in the arm that was around that woman and the grip of man's fingers. The thought of it being uncomfortable for the woman crossed your mind but she didn't seem to mind it. She was smiling as she was looking at the little boy so you moved your eyes away from them.
"I said I wanted mine extra spicy! What the fuck is this?!" You heard the man say to her and your eyes found the woman again. Her soft voice, missing your ears but you could clearly hear what the man was saying. "Can you do anything right? How stupid are you? Fucking bitch." He was gritting through his teeth while gripping hard on her. You did not know what was more appalling, a man cussing and gripping on his woman in front of their child or the woman sitting there taking it quietly. But clearly it was not your business. Was it? The fake smile on that woman's face seemed to fade for a moment until her eyes met her child and she was smiling again. The man suddenly rose up from his chair, throwing some cash on the table. "We are done." He said and gave the woman an unsettling look before walking away. The woman was quick to her feet at those words, helping the little boy to quickly clean up and leave after him.
Your dinner came to an end and it was time for you to head home. You entered the dark parking lot that was rather abandoned at that time of the night, filled by nothing but the silence until you heard the sound of a slap followed by a thud. You turned your head around, trying to find the source of the sound when you saw them again. The woman on the floor of the parking lot and the kid locked in a car while the man there stood with his hands on his hips.
"How many times Cherry?! How many times do I've to tell you to stop acting like a dumb bitch?!" He kicked her in her ribs with as much force as his anger allowed him in the moment. She stayed down, a painful whimper escaped her. He kneeled down beside her and gripped her jaw to make her look at him.
"You know what? I'm leaving here with Elio and you will walk all the way home. If you called a car, I'll beat you to your death." You heard the man say to her. Your eyes followed the man who got in the car and left with the kid in the backseat who seemed to be crying for the woman. You made your way to your car that was parked right next to where she was on the ground. She was crying there until she heard footsteps. She sat up and wiped the blood and tears off her face before she stood up. "Sorry." You heard her say to you for listening or seeing whatever you did and for blocking your way to your car. She moved her hand over the side of her burning ribs and turned her head away, not even knowing which way she was supposed to go or how she was supposed to reach home. She looked at you a minute later, as if hesitant to ask for something. You?
Scenario two-
You liked long drives on a lazy Saturday evening after a week of hard work. You would often take your car and just drive aimlessly through the city streets or to neighborhoods that you haven't been to before. You didn't care where you went, as long as you were driving and the car moved at a high pace. You liked the speed of it, the rush that you got when the cold wind hit your face. You were in a car, driving aimlessly as ever. After a couple of hours of rash driving, you decided to head back home. You turned the car around and lazily drove across a street. You saw a kid sitting by the corner of the road by a park's gate and a woman lying near him. She seemed to be passed out. It had started to get dark and there was no one around. You did not know what it was but you stopped the car in the distance to observe. The kid was stirring the woman, calling her to wake up but she was not moving. You were looking back and forth and there was no one visible by miles. What was it? A new way of robbing people? You were not falling for it. You have read and seen way too much news to actually get out of the car to help that woman. You started your car to drive away and it was just then you saw a big drop of water land on your windshield. It was going to rain. You looked back to find the kid standing now as if he was looking around for help. He probably freaked out from the rain. He saw your car and caught you looking at them from a distance. He ran in your direction and you knew it was too late to just drive away. He was knocking on your window and you got out of the car.
"Help us! Please!" The kid said, scared and his blue eyes filled with tears. "Please! My mom! She's not waking up. She's...she was talking and...she's hurt...." The kid was too young to be talking and crying at the same time and he was urging you to help. The rain was about to get heavier and you needed to decide what to do. You decide to follow the kid to his mother and as you reach near her, you find a closer view of her. You see a woman in her early twenties, lying unconscious on the pavement. What caught your attention were the purple bruises over her neck that would have been hidden by her hair otherwise and you could see a bruise peeking through from under her shirt that had lifted up from her fall. You knew the bruises weren't ordinary ones. The one over her neck was not a hickey, unless the hickey was given to her by a demon, nor the one peeking through her shirt was a small mark. The corner of her head was bleeding a little, she probably hit her head too hard when she fell and she held some money in her fist even in her unconscious state. "Please help!" The kid begged as he sat near his mother again, stirring her as if she would wake up any second. Okay so this was either some extremely elaborate plan to rob you or this woman seriously passed out and needed your help but that was for you to decide. Meanwhile the sky thundered and strong wind started to blow, announcing a storm in the distance. You?
Scenario three-
(We can discuss.)
