Jungkook dumped his duffle bag on the floor and helped the two men to their feet before his gaze shifted who he thought was Jimin. Gently, he cupped the older's chin and lightly brushed his thumb across Taehyung's lips, which caused the other's brain to malfunction. He felt his cheeks heat up when Jungkook instructed him to open but did as the younger said.

Jungkook leaned closer and Taehyung froze. The younger's lips inches away from his own. Their eyes staring straight into each other's souls before Jungkook pulled back with an expression of bewilderment. He then turned to Jimin, assuming it was Taehyung and repeated the action.

"Okay, so the two of you aren't drunk and this is just your usual weirdness?"

The soulmates exchanged a glance before they began to chuckle nervously. What else were they to do?

"Oh you see. We watched this movie about a jolt causing you to exchange your body with the next person and it was so stupid that we had to try it out," Jimin rushed to explain and Taehyung stared at him as though to say 'really? That's the best you could think of?'

Jungkook raised a brow. "Okay," he said, slowly and uncertainly. 

"Well, are you both alright? That seemed pretty painful."

"It was," Jimin grumbled and Taehyung shot him a glare.

Jungkook giggled, "I will never understand you two soulmates but I must say that was some entertainment."

His lips then turned down into a pout as he fixed Taehyung with a puppy look.

"Didn't you like my surprise? I came home early because I missed you so much and I thought you did too."

Taehyung swallowed, unsure what exactly to say when Jimin crushed his toes with the heel of his shoe.

"Aaaeeeeeeee loved it. I missed you so so much and I really loved your surprise," Taehyung quickly blurted out, desperately trying to mask the pain in his voice.

Jungkook didn't say anything if he noticed the pain-filled voice and witnessed Jimin's not-so-sneaky stamping on Taehyung's toes. He just leaned forward and pressed a kiss to Taehyung's lips. The older's heart did a somersault and his cheeks turned a light shade of pink.

"I'll get ice for the two of you. Just don't do any more weird stunts, alright?" Jungkook chuckled after he broke the kiss and exited the room. Once he left, Taehyung turned to Jimin, gaze dark. Jimin gulped and backed away slowly.

"Alright! You who injured my toe. I am going to fucking kill you!"
