Chapter XII

About a month had passed away. Everyone was pretty cool with one another, especially in 1-A. Hasumi may not have been friends with everyone but at least he formed a small relationship with those he didn't talk with a lot. But nonetheless, he did end up making new friends. And in addition, on the second day of school, they had finally gotten to meet their second homeroom teacher.

For Hasumi, it was cool having Uraraka be the second homeroom teacher. For Okumara, it was a bit awkward but he warmed up to it quickly. Now, in 1-B, it was a different story. Shimazaki swore that he would hurt his dad and Tetsutestu if he heard the two say "Dude" to each other again. But that's not what was important.

"A field trip?" The class asked in unison as Bakugou and Uraraka both nodded, one much more enthusiastic than the other.

"That's right! We will be taking a trip to the USJ! Now, before you think I mean Universal Studios Japan, I don't!" Uraraka explains with a laugh, seeing some people pout in disappointment. "The USJ is a training ground run by the space Hero, Thirteen! We'll let Thirteen tell you more when we get there!"

"Also, some of class 1-B is coming with us. It's only four of them said once they were the only ones responsible enough to bring back a permission slip," Bakugou adds in, causing a small hum of murmurs to ring through the room.

Why were kids from 1-B coming? And how did only four people bring back permissions for something like this? And why didn't 1-A get permission slips? Was this a traditional thing? One could only speculate.

"Alright everyone, get geared up in your hero costumes! It's time for a new type of training!" Uraraka chirps with a bright smile.

No one hesitated to get ready. The excitement from the class practically radiated everywhere they walked. How could they not be excited? This almost seemed like a once in a life time experience. Because of how excited they were, everyone was changed and ready to go in no time.

Hasumi wore a blue jacket with fur inside that regulated his body temperature so his quirk wouldn't affect him so quickly. His pants were similar but they were black to absorb heat. He looked around curiously at everyone else's hero costumes, a sense of envy and awe rushing over him as he looked around. Everyone had hero costumes that looked way cooler than Hasumi's. At least in his opinion.

"Woah! Hasumi, you look so cool!" Yahiro exclaims with a bright smile, the other wearing a black jumpsuit of shorts with fingerless gloves.

"T-Thanks! I think yours looks cooler though!" He admits with a small chuckle.

"This? No way! This is nothing!" Yahiro says, waving a dismissive hand as the two of them began to follow the crowd to the bus.

"Yahiro! Hasumi! Wait up!" Akisada calls out with a grin as she makes her way to the two of them, her hero costume much like Mina's except the dress was a solid pink and she had her mask extended more around her face.

"Oh, Akisada! I like your hero costume!" Hasumi says with a smile as she made it over to the two with ease.

"Thanks! I got the idea from my mom!" Akisada explains before she gasps and points past Hasumi, her eyes sparkling with awe. "Woah! Look at Okumara's hero costume!"

A curious hum left the green haired boy before he turned and his own eyes sparkled with joy. Sure, Okumara's hero costume was just like his father's but it was still the coolest thing to look at. As if sensing the two staring at him, Okumara began to look around before he noticed the three and waved a little.

Hasumi couldn't believe how cool everyone's hero costume was. No wonder his dad had fanboyed a lot when he was Hasumi's age. As they got in the bus, Hasumi suddenly felt dread. He didn't know why he felt dread. Maybe he was nervous about going to the USJ? He had no clue. But for the green haired boy, something felt all wrong. But it was probably nothing.

Though, the feeling never left and by the look on Shimazaki's face, Hasumi wasn't the only one who felt something was wrong.
