Chapter V

"So, who's going to go first?" Tasaka asks curiously, looking at the group.

"Why don't you start since you started talking, off-white," Shimazaki sneered, the female glaring at him as she self-consciously touched her hair.

"Fine, I will! As I said before, my name is Tasaka Honenuki. My parents are Juzo Honenuki and Ibara Shiozaki. My quirk is called mud! By using the vines around my arm, I can make the ground or any solid substance turn into mud! I can't use it on people though," Tasaka explains.

"Woah! That's really cool, Tasaka-chan!" Matsuda exclaims her eyes sparkling excitedly.

"Yeah, that's a really handy quirk!" Hasisaki chimes in, boosting Tasaka's ego a little.

"O-Oh, thank you! I appreciate it!" The fair haired female exclaims.

"My turn! I'm Matsuda! And my quirk is called Burning blood!" Matsuda says, causing Shimazaki to perk up slightly simply by the name of it.  "If I draw blood from my opponent, I can basically burn them from the inside with their own blood! Or I can just overheat them!"

That quirk got Shimazaki's attention. It was pretty overpowered in retrospect. All she had to do was draw blood and she could kill a person. But she didn't seem like she'd be one to fight unless it was necessary and she was way too giggly. She was small after all. 5'1 the most. But she packed a powerful quirk.

"Shimazaki-kun? You okay? You're spacing out!" Matsuda points out with a giggle.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Shimazaki mumbles as he slowly brings himself back into reality, his gaze on Matsuda. "Anyway, guess it's my turn. The name's Shimazaki Bakugou. My Parents are Ground Zero and our homeroom teacher, red riot. My quirk is explosion, like my old man."

"Figured you'd make yours quick and short," Tasaka said with a huff, earning a glare from Shimazaki.

"No one asked, off white," The hotheaded male growled.

"Moving on, it's my turn!" Hagisaki quickly interrupted, not wanting the two to break into a fight. "My name is Hagisaki Kayama! My mom is the 18+ hero, Midnight! And of course, my quirk is the same as my mom's."

"So, you can make people fall asleep too?" Tasaka asks, forcing her attention away from Shimazaki.

"Yeah, basically! Though my smell is a bit more masculine!" Hagisaki explains, nodding a little bit as if to confirm his own words.

"Ooo, that's so cool!" Matsuda exclaims with her usual grin.

"Not really," Shimazaki blurts out, causing the other three to look at him.  "I mean, if your opponent had a mask, his quirk is going to be useless. And what if you can't activate your quirk enough? You're done."

A silence fell over the small group. Shimazaki couldn't tell if it was from shock or the group silently plotting his murder. Either way, he could care less. Then, Tasaka spoke, much to Shimazaki's annoyance.

"Are you going to do that to every quirk we try to talk about?" Tasaka asks in a snarky way.

"Oi, don't get pissy because I stated facts, off white. Some quirks are good in certain situations, some aren't," Shimazaki says with a shrug, Tasaka's face turning red with frustration before Kirishima chimed in, having come to check on the group, though it was mainly for Shimazaki.

"So, what's something you each learned about each other while talking?" Kirishima asks with his usual grin.

"Matsuda is the only one who actually has a quirk I should worry about," Shimazaki answered bluntly, earning a glare from Tasaka.

"Shimazaki has no manners," Tasaka sneers, earning a glare and a growl from Shimazaki as small explosions came from his hands.

"I have to find multiple uses for my quirk, Shimazaki pointed out some of my downfalls!" Hagisaki says, having not taken any of the drawbacks mentioned to heart in a bad way.

"And I learned that Shimazaki and Tasaka aren't going to get along!" Matsuda says, earning a chuckle from Kirishima.

"Ah, let Shimazaki warm up! He's a sweetheart once you get to know him! He's just like his other dad! They have to be the tough guys!" Kirishima says as he ruffles Shimazaki's hair, much to the ravenette's discontent.

"Dad! Quit it!" Shimazaki huffed, swatting the other's hand away as Kirishima laughed.

Shimazaki sent a glare towards his father but they both knew it held no real anger. It was hard for Shimazaki to ever stay mad at Kirishima. But if he had been in 1-A, he wouldn't of had to worry about that.

What was Class 1-A doing today anyway?
