A/N: I apologize for my absence, guys! I've been doing a lot of assignments for college and got them out of the way. I've recently watched "Alice In Borderland," I'm also starting to love Chishiya and the other characters. (I might do a fanfic, images, or one shot). I might finish this fanfic and work on the other Bowser fanfic. 😉

Y/N P.O.V.

Even after the rehearsal, I didn't understand why Bowser was still head over heels for Peach. She is so not into him. We were reaching the Mushroom Kingdom, and I could tell Bowser was preparing this moment for his entire life to make Peach his wife and rule the world. 

I was walking behind Bowser since he was already moving to get Peach to make his wife.

"You sure you'll convince Peach to marry you? What if she doesn't want to?" I asked, looking up at the Koopa as he glanced over at my side. 

"She'll have to accept my proposal. If not...I have other plans to get her to accept me." He grimaced. 

We landed outside the kingdom; I followed suit behind Bowser as his koopaling guards surrounded her, including Toad. We stepped out, and I was relieved to see the other two, but I didn't see my brother Mario with them. 

"Y-Y/N!" Peach gasped. 

I awkwardly waved as I approached her side, but two guards blocked me. Kamek grimaced as we watched Bowser come Peach.

"Princess Peach. Brave as ever," Bowser starts as I notice the star behind us. He continued, "As you can see, I have the Super Star."

"If you're going to use it, use it now." Peach used her axe to point directly at Bowser as the Koopas swarmed and pointed their weapons at her. 

Bowser wasn't going forward to fight with the princess. He cleared his throat to explain, "No, princess. I stole this star for us. I guess love makes a guy come out of his shell." He says, in a cheesy flirt giving Peach a light skin stare as she looks at him so weirded out. 

A/N: Bowser has the RIZZ 😩🥵🥵

I had the urge to fight back my laughter as Bowser's face was more shocked than usual. 

"I told you that wouldn't work!" He whispered down to Kamek.

Kamek gave him a thumbs up. 

"You're doing great!" Kamek praised.

Bowser continues, "Peaches, we will be invincible with this star. We can rule the world together forever. Will you marry me?" He says with a faint smile on his face. 

Peach lost it.

"Marry you? Are you insane? I would never marry you." Peach rejected it as she pointed her weapon directly at Bowser.

Bowser frowned. "Maybe you should reconsider." He glanced at Kamek as the wizard Koopa aimed his staff at Toad. 

Toad was crying out in agony, and I was horrified to watch this happen. Peach pleaded to Bowser to stop, and he didn't. She begged until she gave in to marry him as Bowser told Kamek to stop. I wanted to jump in and help them, but I needed to be more useful to watch all that happen.

Bowser reaches down to Peach, extending his hand, "You have my word." Peach lets out a sigh. She stood up to agree to marry Bowser, and I heard him laugh in triumph. "TIME FOR A WEDDING!" 

I ran past the guards to Peach, asking, "Where's Mario?" She looked over at me with a gloomed expression.

"Mario and Kong fell off the rainbow bridge and into the ocean." She replied, continuing to walk further inside To.ad appeared, walking behind her. 

I turned my attention back to Bowser as I felt my heart clenched. 

I lost one of my brothers.

The wedding ceremony was getting set up, and I was still heartbroken to learn that Mario and Kong were gone. Or so I believed. The guest was coming to the wedding, and Peach was getting herself ready I looked around to see everyone was excited and overjoyed by the King Koopa to be wed by the princess. Still, I couldn't put myself up against the thought of losing Mario. Luigi is still alive, but how do I tell him about losing our brother?

"Okay. I think this will do just fine." I heard Peach speaking from behind the curtains as she appeared wearing her wedding gown. 

"You look lovely." I complimented.

She faintly smiled. 

She approached me to say, "I'm sorry about what happened to your brother. Mario tried his hardest to get you back and help everyone else." She apologized, looking at me with a sad look in her eyes.

"It's okay. Mario has always been there for me and Luigi. He's always there for everyone." I reassured her as we hugged each other. 

Peach pulls away, saying, "Y/N, this whole thing is a mess. I need to protect my kingdom, my Toads, and everyone that has been trapped under Bowser. I wish I could do something now, but I can't." 

I faintly smiled, "You've tried what you can, but there is no other way to stop the wedding." I said, looking over at her with my arms folded over my chest. "I never thought that Bowser would be a nice guy."

"Nice guy?" She scoffed.

"Well, somewhat. I talked with him, and he even treated me nicely. Though, I get the feeling that he's trying to live his life to be happy with someone to rule his aid." You said.

Thennoticedcedce a glint in Peache's eyes as she looked at me. I looked confused as she said, "He's been acting a little different since he came directly toward me. His tone and gestures tell me he wasn't obsessed with seeing me. Almost as if he was hiding that from me and you." 

"What do you mean?" I asked. 

"Y/N, do me a tiny favor." She said.

"As in what?" I asked, looking directly at her as she faintly smiled. 

"Switch places with me." She said with a grin. 

I blinked twice. 

"What? Switch with you to marry that guy? I don't--" I was about to decline even though Peach had a plan coming up in her mind. 

"Oh, come on. I've seen the look he would give you while talking to you. He seems to be interested in you more than with me." She said, with a shoulder jab as you rolled your eyes. 

"He doesn't like me. He's got googly eyes for you." You protested. 

She shook her head with a smug on her lips.

"I doubt it." She protested. 

Toad appeared as he came rushing over, holding an ice flower, "Here you are, princess." He said, slightly panting.

Peach takes the flower, saying, "This is perfect. Y/N, we still have plenty of time." She smiled over at me as I didn't know what else to say otherwise. 

I had to go with the plan. 

So, Peach and I switched places as I stared at myself in the mirror with my dress. My hair was in a high bun, but Peach found a wig to place on my head to make it look like that I was her. She was already blown away by how I looked in the dress.

"Wow...you look...amazing!" She beamed. 

I felt my cheeks turn red, and I never knew I would be dragged into this. I don't want to do this or not. Bowser will see through this. The Koopa guard appeared as he came to get me to prepare for my wedding with Bowser. Peach and Toad hid, wishing me good luck. 

I walked out of the dressing room in my wedding dress and looked nervous. I held the bouquet with the flower still inside since Peach wanted me to have it instead. I waited behind the large doors until I heard the trumpets playing the "Wedding Theme Song,d the doors opened. As our guests looked at me, I saw so many creatures from this world. Bowser was with the priest, aka Kamek adjusting his vest, grinning at me seductively. I gulped. 

'Stop looking at me with those eyes.' I thought. 

I walked down the aisle, holding the bouquet as I reached the staircase with Bowser. My head turned as I gasped to see more creatures and MY BROTHER! Luigi was in a cage, and they were being lowered into a full patch of lava. Bowser's hand gently takes mine in his larger ones as he looks at me with a loving gaze with a genuine smile. 

"I'll be sacrificing them in your honor." Said Bowser, wearing the happiest expression on his face. "LOWER THE PRISONERS!" He commanded as I looked over at the machine that had chains cranking it up as it let out a rumbling to lower the prisoners down the lava pit.

I almost wanted to flip at him, but he looked too happy about us being together. My jaw dropped, but Bowser held my hand, gently squeezing it. It felt comforting and nice to be around with him. 

Many things were going on in the back of my mind, but I could tell Bowser was looking at me so...happily. He should've already known by now that I wasn't Peach. My hand was still in his, and I didn't want to let go. What's wrong with me? Am I falling in love? 

"Do you, Princess Peach, take King Bowser as your husband?" Kamek asked, turning towards me as I stood there frozen. My face looked puzzled, and my throat was dry. I couldn't even speak to answer that question. 

Yes or no?

Do I or do I not?

"Peaches," Bowser whispered as I looked down at my feet. 

I gulped.

"I...I...." I stuttered. 

Looking towards the crowd, I started to feel nauseous when I imagined them as my ex-friends and my boyfriend in the group. I remembered that awful day of finding out they were nothing but fakers. Then, I looked over to see the other creatures trying not to die in the pit of lava, boiling for them. My brother Luigi was overhearing everything and looked at me with a worrisome expression. However, I turned my attention to Bowser again...this time, it felt like every wave I hit changed. 

He seemed to understand my pain after I explained my problems at home. I thought about my family and my brothers too. They weren't going to leave me in the cold. They were right here with me. 

"Your Highness?" Kamek whispered over to me as I snapped out of daydreaming. 

I shook my head. 

I inhaled. 

"I...I have a confession to make." I said as the room went silent; they wondered what was happening. 

I looked up at Bowser as I removed the wig from my head and undid my bun to let my hair loose. Bowser and everyone were mortified to see that I wasn't Princess Peach. 

"I'm not Princess Peach. I'm Y/N, and I want to say this before my life is completely going to end by the big guy." I utterly chuckled. I cleared my throat to confess, "As you know, I did something bad and am unhappy about this." I looked back at Bowser as he seemed to be keeping a calm expression. 

I continued, "But, without a doubt, I just want to say...I'm glad I learned a little about your Koopa King. He's funny, cutie patooty, brave, and a good leader. Though, things will not be the same if he truly marries his beloving princess." I turned back at Bowser, saying, "Bowser, I want to thank you for showing me that I was never alone in the dark. If you weren't a bad guy, I've got my family, including you."

"Uh, well...I..." I stuttered.

I smiled at him. I could tell he was blushing as I said, "One last thing. I want to say--" 

PUNCH!

Peach punched the Kamek as Bowser, and I looked incredibly shocked. Though, I had expected to see it coming sooner or later.

"Huh?" Bowser gasped as he gripped his vest glancing over at Peach. 

"Drama." Said one guest watching the whole wedding going differently than planned.

"Peaches!?" Bowser exclaimed.

"You thought I married you?" Peach scrunched up her face showing how she truly felt being forced to marry the Koopa she didn't love. 

"Kinda?" Said Bowser. 

"I never marry a monster!" She said, with a smug on her face. Peach used the ice flower to turn her dress blue, giving her ice powers.

Ouch.

A/N: Part of me wants to hug Bowser after his rejection in that scene. LOOK AT HIM 😩💔

Bowser's face looked heartbroken for a second, but I didn't know whether to feel bad for him. He should've listened to me, but I was surprised he looked at me sadly. 

Though I felt pity for this guy, I knew something told me not to let him go to waste. He scowled. 

"THEN WE ARE BREAKING UP! RIGHT NOW!" Bowser uproared.
