Gandhar's Crystal

╭── ⋅ ⋅ ── ✩ ── ⋅ ⋅ ──╮

It was an exquisite and splendid evening as Princess Subhadra and Indu strolled through the enchanting royal garden.

The moon, with its radiant glow, bestowed its ethereal light upon their path, illuminating their way as they walked around the peacefull surroundings.

Overwhelmed by a hurricane of emotions, Subhadra couldn't help but to say and express her sorrowful longing,  "I shall miss you dearly."

Lost in her own thoughts, Indu gazed up at the twinkling stars, remaining silent.

Curiosity sparked in Subhadra's eyes as she playfully posed a question to the nearby Akarshika, raising an eyebrow in anticipation of her response. "Do you know something?"

"The Kuru kumar are seeking potential matches for our beloved Dushala." Indu, sensing an true motive behind the matchmaking, disguised her true feelings and replied with fake positivity, "That is quite pleasing, I suppose."

Decidedly, Subhadra shifted her playful inquiry towards Indu, "Now tell, does the beautiful Gandhar Rajkumaari hold someone close to her heart, with whom she wishes to share her life?"

In an instant, Indu's thoughts transported her back to a meaningful moment, where she found herself captivated by an undeniable connection, locked in a silent understanding while embraced in his arms.

Swiftly regaining her composure, Indu sternly replied, "No."

With a somewhat disappointed tone, Subhadra replied, "Ah, I understand."

Sensing the need to rest for the night as it was midnight, Indu walked away, leaving Subhadra questioning whether her innocent inquiry had struck a sensitive nerve.

As the sun rose, the Gandhar princess walked on her departure from Dwarka, bidding her farewells to Rukmini, Devaki, Rohini, and Vasudev.

It had only been a week since Lord Krishna's marriage to Vidarbha's princess, Rukmini, who had treated Indu with unparalleled kindness, like her own sister.

Devaki and Rohini reminded her of her own mother, radiating sweetness and generosity. They embraced Indu as their own daughter.

Vasudev, too, showed her kindness, contributing to her growth and inspiring her along the way.

Although she met with sadness for not being able to meet Balarama, who was absent from Dwarka at the time, she eagerly waited for their future encounter.

Subhadra, steadfast, remained by Akarshika's side, teasing her with silliness for reasons only known to her.

And Gopala, oh how Akarshika cherished their friendship, sensing a special bond with him.

"I will miss you a lot I wish someday we can stay in a same castle," Subhadra spoke with a warm smile.

Akarshika responded with a slight smile. "It will happen soon Subu don't worry, " Krishna spoke and Akarshika was confused with his words.

"Hope to see you soon, my dear," Devaki spoke, filling Akarshika's heart with genuine happiness.

The unbreakable bond of friendship between Dwarka's gem and Gandhar's Crystal remained steadfast and unyielding.

Although she felt a pinch fine more then a pinch of sadness leaving behind Subu, she beamed with excitement to reunite with her mother and her annoying bothersome brother.

She had grown weary from her journey and decided it was time for a rest.

She decided not to leave her kingdom as she needed a well-deserved break. Reflecting on her decision to visit Dwarka, she couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope that he, the one she cared about deeply, was safe.

When she questioned her heart's reasoning, it simply responded, "It just is."

Unknown to her, a sense of peace had settled within her, despite the chaos that love often brings.

Merely two months had passed since her return from Kanyakul, yet so much had transpired.

Akarshika's gaze shifted towards the radiant sky, her flowing hair dancing freely in the gentle breeze. Adorned in an bright green silk saree embroidered with peacock feather designs, she wore a simple pearl necklace and delicate earring.

She couldn't help but feel that all these days, she had been living in fear. Fear of the world beyond her castle walls.

Throughout her childhood, she had only been friends with her mother, Gandhari, her foolish brother, and Harsh.

She had never ventured beyond the castle doors, except when it involved her visits to Hastinapura.

She remained secluded within the confines of her chambers, surrounded by maids who showered her with compliments of her beauty, leaving her unsure of how to respond, yet secretly proud of her appearance.

Even from a young age, she possessed great intelligence, and the ministers praised her for it. Again, she found herself unsure of how to react, but a sense of pride swelled within her.

Although she carried an air of arrogance, deep down, she was never heartless, always caring and considerate.

As a child, she wished for her father's love, a longing that remained unfulfilled. In her human nature, she couldn't help but feel a tinge of jealousy towards the Kauravas. However, she never allowed that envy to drive her to harm their sister.

Though a proud princess, she possessed a thoughtful heart, caring for and safeguarding her kingdom.

And now, the heart of Gandhar's Crystal was in disarray due to her love for him.

Again unknown to her, she had already fallen for someone, a realization that would soon dawn upon her.

Eventually, the truth would reveal itself, and the path ahead would unfold, leaving her to wonder what would come next.
