One Shot

You look around excitedly at the fish swimming around you everywhere. Different shades of blue encompass you, as if you yourself were inside the tank. Suddenly a shark swims past above you and you look at it with wonder.

"Hobi!!! Look, look!!" you shout with glee as you drag your much taller boyfriend through some other couple, and towards the glass window so you both could see clearer.

He chuckles and stands behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist so he could place his head on your shoulders. Both of you are quiet, the sound of each other breathing was the only thing you could hear, as you enjoy the view of the brightly colored creatures. You turn to his ears and whisper quietly

"This totally makes up for you being an hour late" you giggle as he ruffles your hair affectionately.

"Are you sure the chocolates didn't do it for you?" he asks with a knowing smile

You huff, knowing that he got you there. You couldn't help but be placated every time you had those treats so you sheepishly look away and he laughs.

AN HOUR AGO

You tap your feet impatiently, checking your phone every 5 minutes, wondering where on earth he was. So far he's almost an hour late and you twitch slightly in restlessness, contemplating whether or not you should find a place to sit.

All of a sudden you hear

"Y/N!!" He approaches you, panting in his effort to get to you quickly and you can't help the slight upwards tilt your lips make just by seeing him. However, you didn't want him to know that, so you cover it up with a blank expression.

"Hobi, it's been an hour, where were you?" you say, a little bit annoyed since he didn't even leave a message for you.

"I know, I know... I had some last minute shooting with the guys and it took longer than I thought; but I brought you something..." he explains and then reaches out to hand it to you.

Your eyes widen with disbelief as you see your favorite chocolate inside the cute box. "But how?.." you wonder questioningly. You look back to him and raise your brow "Hobi... You can't buy these types here... how did you get this?"
He shrugs and looks away, slightly embarrassed as he mumbles quietly but you heard him loud and clear. "...it's just that you told me before that those were your favorites so I wanted to try making them for you... The guys helped too..."

You feel all the anger at waiting for him fade away, as you look at him with a wide grin and then pinch his cheeks. "Awwww my Hobi is swuch a cutie pwie" you tease with a tone and he laughs without restraint. After a quick peck, you both head inside the aquarium.

NOW

You're both hands in hand, you looking around with enthusiasm, and him much calmer. You seem to be more excited than he is so you wonder if he's not having as much fun as you th-

"Y/N! OH MY GOD THEY HAVE PENGUINS" he screams and runs ahead of you.

"...Nevermind, he's fine" you think shaking your head.

You jog slightly to catch up with him and see him pull his phone out to take a video. You laugh and when he finishes you steal his phone so you could get a few pictures of him with them. Then you both hear an announcement about a performance that they were having in a couple minutes, so you both sit up front and wait.

When the show started, they brought out the seals, penguins and manatees and you giggled at how cute they were. They then asked for volunteers to help feed the animals and you freeze. You quickly look back to Hobi only to see his hands already raised in the air excitedly; they choose him before you had the chance to stop him.

"Hobi... you idiot... I can't believe he forgot about how scared he is of animals...and the fact that almost everyone would recognize him..."

Once he gets up on stage, people start whispering and you groan inwardly, knowing that despite the dim lighting inside the aquarium, Hobi would definitely get noticed. Already, you see people taking their phones up and hurriedly making their way up front. These fans, however, were mostly couples so they were fine with just watching and taking pictures.

Now that Hobi is on stage he pauses, noticing that in order to feed the animals, he had to touch them. His eyes widen and he shoots you a look and mouths at you to save him, so you do what every person would, and send him a sweet smile back while pulling out your phone and hitting record. He sends you a glare but the staff calls on him again to start feeding. Eventually he manages to get himself to do so, but didn't realize that when they said feeding, they also meant the other animals, and thus started panicking even more when they brought out the snake.

You feel yourself laughing at the irony, but find yourself thinking that this was probably a good moment to save your boyfriend.

"Oh my god, No way! is that Jeon Jungkook outside right now with another girl??" you shout in mock horror as you point towards the exit, making most of the girls drag their boyfriends outside hurriedly; giving you the chance to grab Hobi and get out as well.

Meanwhile back at the studio Jungkook sneezes. "Kook are you getting sick? Take care of your body..." Jin says worriedly. Kook sniffs and nods, standing to go get some tea.

You and Hobi pant from running out so quickly, but your mood is still great so you tease him about everything. He in return, lifts you up spins you. Once he puts you down, you try to walk but fall dizzily. He's almost in tears from laughing so hard so you shove him and he falls too, making you smile smugly.

You both decide to get some ice cream, but on the way there you see a man busking as he sings a song beautifully. You grab Hobi's sleeve to stop him and reach in to grab a bit of cash so you could leave it for the man. Hobi sends you a sweet smile but then you see his face brighten with an idea, making his smile change to a mischievous look.

The man finishes up his song and Hobi approaches him and whispering in his ears. The man nods enthusiastically and looks straight at you, making you pause.

"Y/N! Come up and sing!" Hobi screams and you swore you could've killed someone right then and there, particularly someone with the initials of J.HS.

Sending him a fake sugary smile you say "But love~ you know I can't do that!" he laughs in response "Don't be shy, people want to hear you sing" you twitch at how stubborn he was being, but you weren't one to back down. "Love, I don't have my guitar" you say, and see him scowl back at you knowing you were right.

"Uh... I have one?" the man speaks up, looking unsurely between the both of you and Hobi's smile comes back up brightly. You feel your resolve now weaken as people throw you expectant looks and you sigh, planning ways to kick Hobi's ass later.

You step up, grab the guitar and breathe out slowly. You've never played in front of an audience like this before, only in front of your camera. Hobi sends you a reassuring look with two thumbs up and despite everything, you smile slightly at his support.

Strumming a couple of chords to practice, you think about which song you were going to play and breathe in. The audience was quiet as you sang a sultry version of 'Run' by BTS. You fall into the music, not noticing the crowd anymore as you let the music take over you, feeling each beat and rhythm coursing through you with your eyes closed.

Once you finish you pant a little bit, loving the rush of adrenaline you felt. You look at Hobi, only to see him staring at you with his mouth slightly dropped. All of a sudden you hear the sound of applause and you blush faintly, forgetting that there were others around. Handing back the guitar to the man, you rush down and Hobi reaches you in for a tight hug

"I knew you could do it! That was amazing! Oh my god I recorded it too! The guys are going to love this! You've never played this version for me either!" His enthusiasm was so contagious that you couldn't help but feel giddy as well.

That day was filled with so much adventure and enjoyment; but that was to be expected every single time you went out with the human embodiment of happiness, also known as, Jung Hoseok.
