One Shot

The sound of what little people were out on an early Saturday morning is the first thing you hear as you walk towards the subway platform.

Usually it was soothing, but today you drowned it out by plugging your earphones in, then putting your playlist on shuffle.

Your foot unknowingly tapped to the music and you watch as your train gradually approaches.

You get ready to get on, when all of a sudden you hear shouting from a distance, making you pause.

"PARK JIMIN YOU GET BACK HERE YOU SON OF A-"

The rest is cut off as someone crashes into you, making you drop your phone.

You pick it up with a scowl and look up, only to see an extremely attractive man with a jawline that could cut and... wait... was that pink hair?

Surprisingly enough, he manages to pull it off nicely...

Not one to get distracted however, you turn his way with a scowl, ready to give him a piece of your mind, that is, until you see the unconcealed panic in his eyes.

"PLEASE HELP ME. Please. If you don't, I can't guarantee I'll survive this... I'll explain later just please." He begs, rambling on about his situation.

Surprised by this stranger's outburst, you could only look at him strangely. "What?..."

You were completely confused, but the man who was shouting earlier rushes in the subway and sees the pink haired one.

As he angrily stalks towards your direction, a plan forms in your head.

With a sigh you turn to him quickly. "Listen. Don't do anything stupid and just go with whatever I'm doing okay?"

"Wha-?"

"So this is how it is huh Jimin. First you flirt with my girl and now you jump straight onto another?" The stranger says angrily.

You shoot the pink haired man -Jimin- a deadpan look, not expecting that kind of outburst. He shoots you a sheepish one back and mouths that he'd explain later again.

You scowl. "Fine...I guess I'm already involved..." you think.

The scowl vanishes from your face and was instantly replaced with a pout. "오빠!! (oppa!!) I can't believe you! I've been waiting here for almost an hour now and this is what you've been doing? You promised me you'd do better with women... What am I supposed to tell mom now?..." you say with hurt and sadness in your voice.

Jimin was surprised by your quick change in attitude and seemed flustered so you shoot him a pointed look.

Seeming to catch on to your drift he nods. "You know I've been trying... I'm sorry..." and he gives you a light hug.

Ignoring the sudden spread of warmth in your chest, you turn towards the other man -who now looked confused and slightly uncomfortable- with tears in your eyes.

"I'm so sorry about my brother... you seem like such a good person... I understand if he went too far... you can give him whatever he deserves..." you say timidly, looking down whilst wringing your shirt with your hands nervously.

You could tell he was softening up (they all did when it came to crying younger sisters) so you draw out more tears and sniffle loudly.

The stranger fidgeted uncomfortably. "Uh... Jimin man... don't worry about it okay?... just, stay away from my girl and we're good. Take care of your sister you're lucky you have someone like her taking care of you." He mumbled unsurely.

After that, he awkwardly backs away and leaves the station, making Jimin turn towards you with an incredulous look.

"Damn... that was wow... thank you so much uh..." He trails off looking at you questioningly

You shoot him a small smile. "It's "Y/N""

Jimin perks up at that. "Well Y/N, I'm Jimin, but I'm sure you know that by now. I believe I owe you an explanation, but I don't think this is the best place for that. How about you and I grab some coffee?"

Before you could protest he smiled.

And man were you done the moment you saw it.

It was the kind of smile where you could feel the entirety of one's happiness, but with Jimin it went further; it reached his eyes.

Now you weren't a cheesy person but you could've sworn in that second you felt your knees go weak.

In your moment of vulnerability he grabs your hands and drags you into the train. You feel your face flush and Jimin gives you a knowing smile. He then leans in an-

"Is that when daddy kissed you mommy?" a little voice asks but was quickly shoved.

"Shut up she's not done with her story!" another little voice responds.

"You shut up"

"No yo-"

Face-palming slightly, you shake your head. "Guys what did I say about being patient?"

"The two freeze, and their eyes widen as they shoot their mother a sheepish look. "Sorry mom..." two voices chorus guiltily at the same time.

From downstairs you suddenly hear the front door slam shut.

Shaking your head, you silently count down. "3...2...1-"

"DADDYS HOOOOOOME!" Jimin shouts, bursting through the bedroom door whilst shrugging his coat off.

Immediately your two children latch onto him like the little monkeys they are.

Sighing, you rub your temples and shoot him a weak glare. "Dammit babe... I almost got them to sleep too..."

Jimin waves you off unconcerned. "Heh. Let them be 자기야~ (love~) I haven't been home in days. What were you guys up to anyways?" He asked with a questioning tilt of his head.

"Mom was telling us your "story" the one of how you guys first met!"

Jimin smirked haughtily at that. "Hoho~ no way~ that was ages ago!" He exclaimed and then waggled his brows mischievously.

"Babe, did you tell them about how I swept you off your feet like the prince you never expected?" He asked excitedly.

You shoot him a dry look. "No love... only how I saved your ass like the heroine I am, while you gaped the entire time like a fish." You shoot back and your smirk widens at his flabbergasted look.

He quickly recovers however and whispers to your children's ears. All three look up with identical mischievous looks and slowly creep towards you.

You tensed in fear and quickly looked for a way out.

But you were no match alone against all three of them.

That night, in the house that was finally complete with all its members, laughter resonated almost the entire time.
