After Selena helped Padme and the rest of the Royal Naboo Guards defeat Viceroy Gunray and the other members of the Trade Federation, she was standing on the steps of the Naboo Palace waiting for Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan.

However, the only person she saw was Obi-Wan with a somber look on his face.

"Obi-Wan, where is Qui-Gon? Is he safe? Is he alright? "Selena asked part of her knew she wasn't going to receive what she wanted.

Obi-Wan stayed silent, and Selena asked again,"Obi-Wan, where is Qui-Gon?".

"I'm sorry, Selena, but he's gone," Obi-Wan said sadly.

She felt her heart stop. He couldn't be dead, he couldn't be.

"N-No he can't be, he's not, Obi-Wan tell me you're lying," Selena pleaded.

"I'm so sorry Selena", he said as he pulled her in a tight hug, the two both crying over the loss of their master and also the man they viewed as a father figure.

Selena stands with Obi-Wan and Anakin as Qui-Gon's body goes up in flames.

Though it was hard, she shed no tears in front of anyone there. Halfway through the memorial, she felt Anakin link their pinkies together where no one could see.

She was grateful for him to be there and felt comfort in his presence.

The streets of Naboo were filled with decorations and cheers of freedom as the people of Naboo and the Gungan's celebrated Naboo’s freedom from the Trade Federation and also the two civilizations coming together in peace.

Selena stood by Obi-Wan and Anakin, who was now officially a padawan as they watched the ceremony take place.

After the ceremony, Anakin and Selena decided to take a short walk through the streets of Naboo.

"Will, I ever see you again?", Anakin asks.

Selena gives the new padawan a smile and says,"Of course you will.". Then the two walked back to Obi-Wa,  ready to return to Coruscant together.
