VII

He took a dip in the Styx.

I knew he was different, ever since he took that little trip to the underworld. Harsher, crueler, less reluctant to torture and kill.

He's invulnerable now, and all I can do is pray that he isn't planning what I think he is, because if that is so, I'm afraid the gods have no chance, and that Olympus will fall.

He's been talking to Kronos lately, something that he avoided before. Even someone as twisted as Luke would never purposely request an audience with he Titan King, and that means Kronos wants him for something.

Although I am reluctant, and somewhat anxious to admit it, for the fear that he will discover this diary, I have to admit I listened in on some of the conversations.

From the vague clues and hints I picked up, I know that Kronos needs a mortal vessel before he can assume his true form. At first, it seemed as though he intended to use a Percy, and I can certainly see why, as he is the most powerful demigod I've ever met.

I can tell he had given up on that idea though, as by now it has become evident that the Son of Poseidon will never join his ranks. Now, I believe he plans to use Luke.

Despite how bad Luke is, Kronos is ten times worse. You see, Luke is human, and all he wanted was justice. He did get a bit lost along the way, but he never killed without reason, even is said reason is ridiculous.

The Time Lord? He's sadistic, cruel, he enjoys bloodshed. With a body of his own (I mean, kind of), I shudder to imagine what atrocities he may commit.

I want to stop Luke, talk to him... yet I believe he's too far down this path to listen to reason. He wants recognition, and I don't think he'll stop just because the way there is a bit (very) harsh.

Gods help me.
