As Annika opened her eyes, she saw Daksh on floor while Shivaay is standing in front with bloodshot eyes and clenched jaw. His hands were fisted tightly.

Everyone came inside hearing the commotion. Girls rushed to Annika who was standing there in daze. Her eyes were still wide in horror.

"How dare you touch her! When she said no, she meant no! How dare you touch her with your bloody hands", Shivaay shouted picking him up from his collars and shook him.

"She told me about your cheap stalking of yours but I never thought you'll stoop so low! You're the one who was trying to see her when she's changing today, weren't you!", Shivaay shouted and started beating Daksh black-and-blue. Arnav and Om were trying to stop Shivaay but he's out of control.

He took Daksh out of room and threw him down from stairs and again picked him up coming down and continued beating him.

"Shivaay.. Stop! Shivaay stop!! You'll kill him", Arnav shouted holding Shivaay from behind.

Daksh was laying on the floor with bruises and blood covering his face. Shivaay came out of his arms and was again going to beat him when Om and Arnav both pulled Shivaay away.

"Shivaay calm down! Mar jayega woh! He's already looking half dead!", Om said. Shivaay took a step back fuming and jerked his knuckles who were bruised and full of blood.

"So he should die! You know because of him Annika is feeling uncomfortable since morning! She told me how he used to try touching her, his cheap gaze on her! Just think about that girl, how she's living from past 6 months", Shivaay hissed looking at boys.

"Shivaay I understand, it shouldn't happen with any girl but don't take law in your hands. We need to prove him wrong. We need to bring his true face in front of media. We need to give a justice to Annika who's dignity this shit head tried to take", Arnav said calming Shivaay a bit.

He saw Daksh limping and trying to run away when he held him again from his collars. Daksh was swaying being partially conscious. Taking out his phone, Shivaay called ACP of Mumbai police.

"Hello ACP! Shivaay Singh Oberoi! I have a complaint to file! Daksh Khurana has tried to molest my friend and actress Annika D'souza at my farmhouse in outskirts of Mumbai. Come here and arrest him!", he said in cold voice and kept the call.

Throwing him to the floor, Shivaay closed his eyes when Annika came in his mind making him open his eyes in snap.

"An..Annika! How is she!", he said and rushed back upstairs to see Annika. As he entered room, he saw Annika sitting on the couch with girls around her.

Malika was giving water to her while other two were calming her. She was still in the moment. Rudy who noticed Shivaay walked to him and held him.

"Where is that animal bhaiya? I will kill him. How dare he tried to touch Annika didi like that", Rudy said in rage holding Shivaay.

"Your bhaiya has already made him half dead. Calm down!", Arnav said coming from behind to which Rudy nodded. Shivaay was just looking towards Annika and walked to her.

She looked drained. Mentally and emotionally drained. Her eyes were blank. Not a single girl should face what she faced.

He walked towards Annika and stood in front of her. She slowly moved her head up and looked at him with tears.

"Th..thank you Shivaay", she said meekly and finally tears came out of her eyes. He felt something breaking inside him. Kneeling down, he pulled her in a tight hug making her wrap arms tightly around him. She cried loudly in his arms making him feel worse and more angry on Daksh.

"Annika..shh shh! He won't even think to look at any girl Annika! I got you! He'll rot now! Calm down..shh shh", he said sweet nothing caressing her hair while she sobbed in his arms.

"Th..thank god you came else he..", he sush her ahead and caressed her hair giving her a comforting hug.

"Thank you so much bhaiya! If you won't have come, that Khurana would have...", Gauri sighed caressing Annika's hair from behind.

"We never thought he'll be such! He was so sweet all the time keeping his demon self hidden", Bhavya said.

"I did want every man should do. Protect woman because she's jewel of our lives. Some animal like him make the male society dirty!", Shivaay said in disgusted voice.

Annika parted from Shivaay while he tuck her hair. She looked here and there. She hates to show her vulnerability to someone but she felt better after crying to Shivaay.

"He'll pay for what he did Annika! I swear to you. He'll regret for even laying eyes on you", he said cupping her face. She look at him in hope and lower her gaze.

"Mal, girls! Take Annika and make her rest in her room. Annika, take some rest, take a shower you'll feel better", he said looking at Malika and at last at Annika making her nod lightly.

Annika went towards her room along with girls. Just then Om came informing that police is here. Shivaay had a smirk on his face and he went downstairs followed by others.

"Hello ACP! As you can see, this man! He tried to get closer to my friend, when she rejected he tried to force himself on her and almost molested her. I came on last moment else he would have played with a girl's dignity", Shivaay said looking towards Daksh and then at the ACP.

"We'll take care of him Mr. Oberoi but we need to take statement of Ms. D'souza. As you know he's a superstar, he could get saved. It's a high profile case, you know", he said.

"And you know me ACP! I will let you take statement of Annika but make sure he never see outer world again. He should rot in jail for lifetime", Shivaay said in his stern voice making ACP nod.

"She's not in her sane mind right now. I would appreciate if you leave her for tonight and take statement tomorrow", Shivaay said again making ACP agree.

"I understand. We'll take good care of him Mr. Oberoi", ACP said and was taking Daksh away when Shivaay stopped them. He walked to Daksh and looked directly in his eyes.

"I will make sure you won't even dare to touch Annika's shadow. You'll think 100 times before touching any girl! You're destroyed Daksh Khurana. Agar meri dost ka naam bhi apni jubaan se liya, zinda nahi chodunga", Shivaay said in deep voice with a smirk.

Police took away Daksh while everyone was looking at Shivaay. They've seen this version of Shivaay for the first time. Everyone know what Shivaay's anger and temper is but this was next level. It was something which can scare the soul out of someone.

"Shivaay you should get your hand dressed. Its full of bruises and blood", Om said holding his hand. Rudra rushed and came back with first-aid box.

Shivaay hissed as the antiseptic touched his knuckles. Om blew it and gently dressed his hand.

"I know you won't stop in this much Shivaay, I know you! What are you planning to do with Daksh?", Arnav asked seeing Shivaay's face.

"I will make him ban in film industry, advertisment industry! He'll regret for touching Annika", Shivaay said making other exchange looks.

"Do as you wish Shivaay. He deserves this", Om said making others nod.

"I will go and check didi, if she's fine or not", Rudy said and was going to Annika's room when others joined him.

As they went to her room, they saw girls sitting around Annika while she's sleeping in between. Her face looked pale.

"How's didi now?", Rudra asked worried.

"She's better Rudy, don't worry. We made her sleep. Hopefully she'll be good by morning", Malika said making him nod.

"You guys too, go and sleep now! It's late night", Shivaay said to whom all agreed and dispersed to their rooms. Malika went inside washroom go change.

Shivaay walked to Annika and stood beside her. He was feel bad seeing a silent pale Annika. Even if it's only few days, he like bubbly and talkative Annika. Seeing her like this, broke something inside him. He bent and gently pecked her forehead. He himself don't know why did so but he felt like doing so.

"I will always protect you Annika! I promise on our friendship", he whispered caressing her hair and went giving a last look to her. He properly closed the door.

It was midnight when Shivaay's sleep broke. He twisted and turned on bed to get sleep but it was far away. Sighing, he got up and walked to the balcony to see a figure in backyard. He looked carefully to see Annika sitting there looking at nothing. He sighed and went downstairs.

Annika was sitting there looking at the trees. All the event from night was running in her mind. It was all like a nightmare, a very bad nightmare. She startled as she felt someone sitting beside her.

She turned scared to see Shivaay sitting there. She sighed and looked away again looking at nothing particular. He scooted closer and wrapped one arm around her shoulder. He felt good that she didn't flinched but relaxed on his touch.

"Annika! I know it's tough. Those will haunt your memories but aren't you a strong girl? You fought well. You tried to save yourself", he said softly as if he's talking like a kid.

"Shivaay if you won't have come he...he was going to ki..ss me", she said and closed her eyes while he took her in a side hug.

"Shh shh! I promised na! I will always protect you, I will", he said making her look at him.

"Pinki promise?", she asked showing her little finger.

"What's pinki promise?", he asked confused.

"The purest form of promise is called pinki promise. You can't break that promise", she said making him chuckle. She's innocent like kid. His mind said.

"I pinki promise you Annika", he said intertwined his little finger with her little finger. She smiled lightly nodding.

"So let's do some outing tomorrow. We can have shoot other day", he suggested making her frown lightly.

"But we need to leave in three days. You're sure shoot will be done in two days?", she asked.

"We'll see about it Annika. Let's enjoy. You'll feel good too", he said making her look at him gratefully.

"Thank—", she stopped as she saw his glare.

"Annika! Not again! We're friends and it's every man's responsibility to protect woman", he said making her shake head.

"Only gentleman like you. I got to see how you handle things. It really means a lot else no one takes side so easily for someone", she said.

"You're not someone. You're my friend", he said. She smiled and took his hand making him hiss just then her eyes went on the bandage on his palm.

"What is this Shivaay? You got so hurt!", she said worried holding his hand carefully. He shook his head.

"It's nothing. Don't worry", he said making her teary.

"You faced such because of me", she said making him shake his head and pulled her in a hug and caressed her hair.

"It's nothing such! I did what I was feeling to do since I saw him and got to know about his true self", he said parting and caressed hair.

"You're really a good friend Shivaay. Thank you for coming in my life", she said gratefully holding his hand. He just smiled holding her hand.

First of all, apologies. I know it's a really short chapter but I had less time. Ishqbaaaz totally distracted me today, being from same fandom I hope you'll understand😅♥️ Next chapter will be bigger and full of fun😉
