Shivaay walked outside his room stretching his arms exhaling a yawn. He raked his fingers in his hair, making them more messy.

"Good morning mom", Shivaay said hugging his mother who was in the hall. He was living in Oberoi mansion since two days as New year was going to come, his dadi was back and there was holiday in Allure.

"Good morning Shivaay. Slept well?", she asked caressing his hair.

"Very well mom. I think I slept so long after a while", he said and parted.

"You should sleep like this often. Coffee?", she asked.

"Yeah please. I will take shower after that, just brushed now. Where's everyone?", he asked walking along with her towards kitchen.

"Arnav and Om are out for a walk, must be returning. Rudra as usual sleeping", Jhanvi said.

"And dadi?", he asked.

"Ah! She is in the kitchen. Let's go", Jhanvi said with a smile.

"Why such big smile on that thing?", Shivaay asked amused.

"Look yourself", she said and moved her hand towards kitchen. He looked there and his eyes widen.

Annika was standing in the kitchen cooking with dadi, baking specifically her famous choco chips and black currant cake. He rubbed his eyes with his palm as he couldn't believe on his eyes.

"Annika?", he said aloud making dadi and Annika look at him. She smiled looking at them.

"Good morning Shivaay", she wished his smiling widely. She was wearing a simple white t-shirt with candies made all over it, tucked in a blue high waist denims. A wide smile formed on his lips as he saw her wearing his blue apron with blue chef hat while cooking.

"It's really a good morning", he muttered looking at her. Her cheeks turned pink and looked down.

"Accha ji!", dadi said teasingly. Shivaay rubbed the back of his neck with a smile.

"Mummy ji! I wanted to show you some things I bought for companies as new year gift. Please come and check them once", Jhanvi said.

"Haan ab toh jana hi padega. Kids, no hanky panky okay", dadi teased.

"Dadi! Please. It's nothing such", Shivaay said in disbelief. Annika was looking down mixing the ingredients to hide her blush.

"Good good. Anyways I have no hurry in becoming great grandmother", dadi said laughing and went from there leaving the flushed couple behind.

Annika giggled seeing his amused face as the ladies went.

"I see you are having lots of laughter these days", he said walking by her side. She chuckled nodding.

"Definitely billuji", she chuckled. She gasped the second moment as he pushed her against the island, keeping his hands on either side of it.

She looked at him who was looking at her with a sly smile. He leaned over a bit making her lean back. Her eyes went on his slim fit shirt giving perfect shape to his abs.

"Shivaay... Kya kar rahe hai? We're in kitchen, leave me", she said looking at the entrance of kitchen again and again.

"I didn't even touched you yet, pumpkin", he said and sensuously kissed her right cheek making her close her eyes.

"Shi..Shivaay someone might walk inside, it's kitchen", she said with difficulty as his lips were busy on her cheek going towards her jaw.

"Let's go to my room then, there no one will walk in without my permission", he said and looked in her eyes. She blushed keeping hands on his chest and lowered her gaze.

"Hawh! What will dadi and Jhanvi aunty think!? Anyways I was busy before you came to disturb me", she said.

"I am disturbing you huh?", he asked nuzzling their nose together. She giggled nodding.

"Your problem, I don't care", he said hugged her tightly making her laugh wrapping arms around his back.

"So what were you busy in?", he asked once parting from hug and eyed the batter.

"Oh! Actually I have a shoot nearby Oberoi mansion and I had to wake up early so I thought how about come here and spend morning with you guys", she said with a smile.

"Mhm?", he asked taking her in a back hug.

"Yes. When I came you're sleeping so I sat down talking with uncle, aunty and dadi as others were out, then I got to know dadi loves cakes and pastries so I thought why don't I bake my famous black currant and choco chips cake. I was talking with her before you came", she said ahead pouring the batter in baking tin.

"You know, I always wished that my girlfriend should have a great bonding with my mom and dadi. Three most important ladies of my life. I see it coming true", he said against her neck.

"Yeah?", she turned her face a bit to look at him.

"Yeah", he said pecking her nose.

"I am happy then. I just love your family", she said.

"Baby, they're even your family now", he said making her smile. He leaned in to her lips making her keep hand on his mouth.

"I brushed, woman!", he said with a frown making her chuckle.

"Good boy", she said removing hand from his mouth and patted his cheek.

"Can I get my morning kiss, then?", he asked wrapping arms around her waist, caging her in his arms.

"Maybe a small peck you can", she said giggling and he kissed her, kissing her canines along. She pecked his lips back.

"My pumpkin", he said and kissed her forehead. She smiled holding his arm.

After having a happy and filling breakfast with Oberois, Shivaay dropped Annika at her shoot area. He asked her to call him after her pack up so he can come to pick up her or send someone and she could come to Oberoi mansion. She agreed and giving a quick peck to his cheek.

"Okay Annika, you'll be jumping from the bars above kicking the goons in between and flip your hair back opening them", the director instructed her who was having her touch ups.

Annika never believes in using body doubles and risking their life for the entertainment. If it's her stunt, she prefers doing it herself. She had recently started shooting for Crime- thriller movie having woman centric plotline.

They were at a warehouse and she was wearing a black sweats with black sports bra, ready to give her entry shot. The director said action and she started performing the scene beating the junior artists as goons.

Annika was jumping from one metal bars to another tied up with the ceiling. She was almost at the end of the scene when the screw of a bar loosened and Annika imbalanced from the bar falling from that.

"Omg!", the director got immediately but till Annika fell down on the ground. Though the safety foams were kept down but because of the imbalance, she fell little away from them.

"Ahh", Annika yelped holding her ankle and right arm. Her face was contoured with pain. Immediately the crew on set and secretary reached her helping her to get up. The assistant director called up the ambulance while the shooting was packed up.

"Let's start over the collection in first week of new year. That would be perfect time for winter and spring together", Shivaay said as he was with his designer team on a video conference.

Shivaay looked up as he saw Arnav coming hurriedly inside the room. He signalled him and nodded.

"Excuse me guys", he said getting up. Malika who was also on the call got confused seeing the sudden change on his face.

"What is it Arnav?", Shivaay asked going little away from his study table.

"Shivaay, a call from Annika's secretary came as you were not picking up your call. Annika has met with an accident on her set. She fell down from up and probably has fractured her arm and ankle", Arnav said with a worried face.

"What!", Shivaay shouted and his face immediately turned to anger and worry.

"How the hell can her production be so careless. I will sue them!", he said taking out his phone and called Malika immediately.

"Yes Shivaay, all okay?", she asked from other side.

"Annika has met with an accident at her shooting area. Me and Arnav are going to hospital, you wrap up with your team mates", he said.

"What! Okay, I will wrap up and come there with girls", she said.

"I will not leave her production house I swear", he said taking his car keys.

"Shivaay calm down, first we need to go to Annika. Let's go", Arnav said and both went outside his room while Shivaay was muttering curses.

"What happened? Where are you two going hurriedly?", dadi asked as others were sitting in the hall with her.

"Dadi, Annika has met with an accident. We are going hospital to see her. Shivaay wait...", Arnav said and shouted as he saw Shivaay going out without listening anyone.

"Om, Rudy, you come with others. I need to see this brother of yours", Arnav said and rushed behind Shivaay who was igniting the car.

"Shivaay calm down, Annika will be fine", Arnav said as Shivaay drove recklessly towards the hospital where Annika was taken, which Arnav told him earlier.

As he reached, the paparazzi was present there making Shivaay curse and groaning internally but with the help of security, he went inside. Asking the room number, both went there to see Gauri, Malika and Bhavya already present there, sitting outside the room.

"What did doctor said?", Arnav asked as Shivaay stood near the door controlling himself from not barging inside.

"Annika has displaced the elbow of her right arm and her right ankle has got fractured" Gauri said.

"Doctors are treating her. She'll be fine Shivaay", Malika said looking towards him who has clutched his fists after hearing it.

Just then doctor came outside and looked at everyone.

"We've applied cast in her arm and bandage to her ankle. She need to take rest for atleast a month", he informed.

"Doctor, any internal bleeding?", Shivaay asked.

"No no! She just need to take care and rest in ample amount. You can meet her", he said.

Shivaay immediately rushed inside to see a nurse standing beside her giving her medicines while Annika is sitting on the hospital bed with a big brown cast around her right elbow, tied up to her neck and her right leg straight with bandage around her ankle.

Annika looked at him with a faint smile and leaned back. Nurse saw this and went after her work was done. Everyone came inside and carefully hugged her. Her eyes were still on him who was looking at her.

Just then, Jhanvi, Tej and Dadi came there and a gasp left from Jhanvi's mouth seeing Annika. She immediately went by her side.

"Anu, are you okay beta?", she asked caressing her hair gently.

"I am fine aunty. Just little pain, it will be fine", Annika said with a small smile.

"Puttar! How did this happened?", dadi asked.

"Dadi I had an action sequence to shoot today. We're having it calmly, I was at the end of the scene when I don't know how I imbalanced and fell down", Annika narrated.

"How can the production be so careless, don't they have safety regarding the people working with them", Tej said angrily.

"Don't worry dad. I will take care of that", Shivaay said and looked again at Annika who looked down at her arm.

"Didi! Thank god, you're fine. I got so scared after knowing that you had an accident", Rudra said hugging her carefully.

"I am fine, Ru. Don't worry", she said gently patting his cheek.

"Shivaay I think we should shift Annika at Oberoi mansion for a month", Om said.

"I agree. There she'll be taken care off well as even girls are out for work", Arnav added. Gauri and Bhavya agreed.

"Guys but it's not needed. I can manage", Annika objected.

"How? Your leg and arm both are injured idiot. Everyone is right", Malika said.

"But...", she was cut in between by Shivaay.

"No if and but Annika. It's final and I am not asking you. I am telling you, you're coming home with us", he said with the voice which no one could deny.

"That would be perfect. I will talk to doctor regarding discharge", Tej said and went gently caressing Annika's head.

Om looked at Rudra who nodded and looked at Arnav.

"I think we all should let Annika rest for sometime. Shivaay is here with her, right Shivaay?", Arnav said.

"Of course I am", Shivaay said. Dadi kissed her head while Jhanvi was talking to girls about bringing all essentials of Annika to Oberoi mansion. They left the couple alone in privacy.

She looked at him who walked by her side and sat down beside her.

"Can't you take care of yourself. Pagal ho? Body doubles are there right? Who asked you to become superwoman", he scowled.

"Aree! What is my mistake. It was the bar who got loosen. I was doing my work perfectly, I don't like risking someone else's life because of me", she frowned.

"I see how perfectly you work", he said pointing at her arm, "haan! You don't like risking other's life but mine", he said making her heart skip a bit.

"Itna pyaar karte ho mujhse?", she asked looking at him.

"Even I can't express the amount of love I have for you. Mad woman", he muttered at last. She chuckled and eyed him to come closer.

"What?", he frowned.

"Aao na!", she whined. He came closer to her and she kissed his forehead.

"I love you", she said with a smile. He looked at her for a moment and held her head from behind bringing it closer to his chest. She wrapped her working arm around his back.

"Don't do this again, Annika. You stopped my heart beat for a moment", he said kissing on top of her head.

"I am fine, Shivaay. I will be fine", he said hugging him back. He kept kissing her hair and temple.

"I won't leave that production house. There's a limit of carelessness", he said parting from hug and took out his phone but she held his hand.

"Shivaay please don't. Mistake happens, that's why it's called accident. Leave it, I am fine in front of you right?", she said.

"But-"

"Please Shivaay", she made her puppy eyes and he sighed.

"Fine. They're safe this time because of you", he said. Just then they heard a knock on door and her secretary was standing there.

"Ma'am, director sir wants to talk to you", she said and handled the call to Annika.

"Yes sir...no I am fine..yeah fractured my arm and leg, we need to stop the shooting for 1 month I guess...that's really sweet of you...sure sure...it's completely okay sir, don't worry. Yeah, bye", Annika kept the call after talking to him.

"What was he saying?", Shivaay asked holding her hand.

"He was asking sorry for the accident which happened on the set", she said, "see and you're going to take action against them", she added in disbelief.

"I still would but controlling because of you", he said scowling. She sighed handling the phone back to her secretary.

"Nothing can happen of yours", she muttered shaking her head.

"Mia, cancel all the meetings, events and shooting of Annika for entire one month. Annika will be best rested and at my home", Shivaay said to Mia. She looked at Annika once and then nodded at Shivaay.

"Okay sir, I will cancel it", she said, "take care ma'am", she added and went from there. Others came inside the room as Mia left.

"Annika can get discharge, let's go home", Tej said.

"Um, dad. I was thinking, my house is near from hospital and then from Allure also, if you guys don't have problem I would like to shift Annika to my home for a month", he said making Annika look at him shocked. Others also looked at him surprised.

"Shivaay but new year is coming. It would be nice if Annika stay with family", Jhanvi said.

"Mom we can celebrate it at my house also, in fact it's my and Annika's first new year together. I want to spend as much time as possible. I need to work on a new collection, if Annika will stay at Oberoi mansion, my mind will be stuck there. Like this, I can work at home also and if urgently needed, I can go Allure and come back immediately", he said.

"Shivaay as you see, Annika can't move her arm and legs, who will help her in changing", Malika said.

"Haan toh, you guys can be there if you want. Mom, dadi anyone of you three can be there along us. Please guys, I really need to work on the collection and I can't leave Annika alone. I know you guys will be there to take care of her but my heart won't be in peace", he said and looked at everyone.

"Let's do one thing, me, Gauri and Bhavya will stay up at yours till Annika can't handle things of her own", Malika said.

"Even we will stay till new year then. It would be fun", Rudra said, "like a staycation", he said.

"Yeah, that would be nice", Om agreed.

"Great then, you kids have fun, we three will join you from new year till some days", Dadi said, "Annika puttar, take care of yourself okay and don't think you're troubling someone, specially Shivaay. Ask whatever you want", she said caressing her hair.

"Yes dadi, I will take care of myself", she said. Dadi, Tej and Jhanvi went from hospital to send the required things to Shivaay's house.

"Shivaay I suggest we take Annika from back side of hospital. Paparazzi is outside, seeing you two along, they will create ruckus", Om said.

Shivaay nodded and picked up her in his arms carefully. She looped one arm around his neck and looked at his face.

"Comfortable?", he asked. She nodded and both went to the backside of hospital. He carefully made her sit-down at the backseat carefully and sat down beside her. Om and Rudra took the front seat.

They zoomed out of the hospital which paparazzi captured in their cameras. Annika had her legs in his lap and he was gently caressing her legs holding her left palm.

"You're feeling fine?", he asked softly. She nodded.

"I am good don't worry", she said bringing his hand to her mouth and kissed back of her palm.

"Om, drive carefully, there must be speed breakers and open manholes", Shivaay said.

"Don't worry Shivaay, I am driving carefully", Om chuckled.

Shivaay looked at Annika who was drooping, probably because of the medicine effect. He kept her head carefully on the headrest and pecked her forehead.

"Sleep, I will wake up you when we'll reach", he said softly. She hummed closing her eyes. He kissed her palm thanking god for keeping her fine and safe.
