Nicholas: "I bond best in air-conditioning."

Fuma: "Nature builds character."

Jo (smiling): "I already packed snacks!"

Maki: "Same! I brought s'mores stuff, bug spray, and my instant rice packets!"

EJ (holding a clipboard): "Let's just make sure we all bring the essentials."

🚗 Scene 2: The Arrival (a mistake)

They arrived at the campsite—one hour from the city, two hours from civilization, and exactly zero minutes from disaster.

Jo opened the trunk.
Jo: "Okay, tent bag: check. Sleeping bags: check. Firewood: check."

Harua: "Where are the tent poles?"

Jo froze.

K stood on a rock, attempting to rally morale.

K: "We may not have tent poles. We may have lost our firewood to Fuma's allergic reaction. But we are still strong. Still capable. Still—"

THUNK.

He fell off the rock mid-speech.

Harua: "He tripped on his own inspiration."

Yuma: "Even nature rejected that monologue."

🌙 Scene 6: The Campfire That Never Was

The sun set. They had no fire. No cooked food. And only half a tent, sagging like their hopes.

EJ, checking his watch: "Should we just... go back?"

Jo: "I'm hungry."

Maki: "I think I heard a bear. Or Nicholas singing."

Nicholas: "That was my survival chant."

Yuma: "It sounded like a dying toaster."

K finally gave up.

K: "Alright. Operation Retreat."

Back home, Maki lined up tea lights on the kitchen counter.

Maki: "It's a candle campfire."

Jo: "Genius. Mood lighting and s'mores."

Harua held up a skewer with a marshmallow to the flickering flame.

Taki: "I think the squirrels miss me."

Nicholas, dramatically placing a blanket around his shoulders: "I survived the wilds and returned changed."

Fuma: "You sat in the van for half the trip."

They sat on the kitchen floor, eating candle-roasted marshmallows.
