It all started because of Taki.

Which, honestly, shouldn't surprise anyone.

"Taki," K said, "Explain."

Taki gulped. "It was a harmless prank!"

Jo stared. "Harmless?!"

"Taki," K said slowly, rubbing his temples. "Explain. Again."

Taki gulped, glancing between K and the disaster in front of him.

"It was supposed to be funny," he mumbled.

Jo stared. "How is this funny?"

Maki, struggling not to laugh, shook his head. "Oh, this is hilarious."

Because right there, sitting on the couch, stuck together at the hands—

Nicholas and EJ

At the wrist.

Permanently.

(Okay, not permanently. But for now? Absolutely.)

Nicholas jerked his arm. "FIX THIS."

EJ, who was forcefully yanked forward, stumbled into him. "STOP MOVING, YOU IDIOT."

Nicholas yanked again. "STOP CRASHING INTO ME."

EJ scoffed. "Oh, I'm sorry—I DIDN'T REALIZE I WAS HANDCUFFED TO A CHILD."

Nicholas growled. "I WILL END YOU."

Fuma, sitting back with a snack, grinned. "You guys are entertaining."

Yuma nodded. "We should let this play out."

K sighed. "Absolutely not."

Taki pouted. "Boring."

Fixing it, however, was easier said than done.

Because now, Nicholas and EJ had to do everything together.

And it was a disaster.

"Slow down!" EJ snapped as Nicholas stormed forward.

"I am going slow!" Nicholas argued.

EJ yanked him back. "WALK LIKE A HUMAN."

Nicholas glared. "THEN KEEP UP."

Taki, watching gleefully, giggled. "They look like a three-legged race gone wrong."

Maki snickered. "No coordination at all."

Harua nodded. "Disappointing."

Nicholas and EJ glared at them.

Jo, watching them struggle, sipped his drink. "They look like a couple having their first fight."

Yuma, nodding thoughtfully: "Newlyweds."

Fuma: "Doomed newlyweds."

Nicholas and EJ, simultaneously: "SHUT UP."

EJ picked up a spoon.

Nicholas, at the same time, reached for a drink.

Their hands jerked in opposite directions.

Nicholas's drink spilled onto EJ's lap.

EJ froze.

Slowly, he turned to Nicholas.

Nicholas, already sensing danger, whispered, "Let's be rational."

EJ pushed the drink over Fuma's head.

Maki wheeze-laughed. "OH MY GOD."

Jo fell off the couch. "PERFECT REVENGE."

Yuma applauded. "Amazing teamwork."

Taki laughed. "YES."

Nicholas spat out water. "I HATE ALL OF YOU."

K sighed. This was getting worse.

K crossed his arms. "Alright, you guys need to change into clean clothes."

Nicholas froze. "HOW."

EJ froze. "EXACTLY."

Jo smirked. "I think you need to help each other."

Nicholas turned to EJ.

EJ turned to Nicholas.

Realization hit.

"No," EJ said immediately.

"No," Nicholas agreed.

Taki grinned. "I mean, you could just strip together."

K smacked Taki. "STOP TALKING."

EJ groaned. "I HATE MY LIFE."

Nicholas sighed. "Same."

After hours of chaos and suffering, they finally had a solution.

K finally bought glue remover.

EJ and Nicholas stood in silent exhaustion as K carefully applied it to their wrists.

"Moment of silence for this legendary prank," Taki said.

Yuma wiped a fake tear. "We were so young."

Harua, nodding solemnly: "They fought bravely."

Nicholas glared. "I will glue you all together next."

Finally, after what felt like an eternity—

They were free.

For exactly five seconds.

Because then—

EJ tackled Taki to the ground.

"WORTH IT," Taki yelled, laughing through the pain.

And just like that—

Glue was banned forever.
