One More Minute - Kuma

K always thought he had time—until Fuma was about to leave, and one minute was all he had left. (Ft. the members)

The train station was packed, but to K, it felt like there were only two people in the entire world—him and Fuma.

One minute. That was all they had left.

Fuma smiled, but it didn't reach his eyes. "I should go."

K's grip tightened on his bag strap. "One more minute."

Fuma hesitated. "K—"

"Just one more." His voice was barely above a whisper, but Fuma heard it. He always did.

Before either of them could say anything more, chaos erupted.

15 Minutes Earlier – The Members Find Out

"You WHAT?!"

Nicholas, who had been quietly sipping his drink at the dorm, almost choked.

"He's leaving in 15 minutes," K repeated.

"And you're just telling us NOW?" EJ threw a pillow at him.

"I wasn't going to tell you at all."

Taki gasped dramatically. "What do you mean?! You were just gonna let Fuma leave without us saying goodbye?"

K shifted awkwardly. "It's... complicated."

Yuma crossed his arms. "No, what's complicated is the fact that you've liked him for years and still haven't confessed."

Maki looked up from his phone. "You haven't confessed?"

Harua sighed, rubbing his temples. "This is bad."

Nicholas slammed his hands on the table. "WE'RE GOING TO THE STATION."

"But—"

"NO BUTS! EVERYONE, MOVE."

In a matter of seconds, the entire dorm exploded into movement—shoes being thrown on, jackets grabbed, Taki stuffing snacks into his pockets for some reason.

"We have 12 minutes left!" Jo yelled.

"WHY ARE YOU BRINGING SNACKS?" EJ shouted at Taki.

"STRESS EATING!"

Maki yanked K towards the door. "WE'RE GETTING YOU TO FUMA!"

Back to the Train Station

K had let every other moment slip away.

Not this time.

Flashback #1 — The Almost Confession by the River

K and Fuma sat side by side by the river, their legs stretched out in front of them. The sky was painted in hues of pink and orange, the sun setting slowly behind the hills.

"You ever think about the future?" Fuma asked, tossing a pebble into the water.

K nodded. "Yeah."

"Like... where we'll be in five years? Ten?"

K glanced at him. The words sat on the tip of his tongue. Wherever you are, I want to be there too. But instead, he simply hummed in response, letting the moment slip away.

Flashback #2 — The Almost Confession on a Rainy Night

It was pouring. They were soaked from head to toe, huddled under the tiniest bus stop roof imaginable. Fuma shivered, and K wordlessly pulled off his hoodie, shoving it into his hands.

"You'll be cold," Fuma protested.

"Just take it."

Fuma grinned, slipping it on. "Guess I owe you one, huh?"

K turned away, his face warm despite the cold rain. Just say it, he thought. Say it now. But the bus arrived, and the words drowned beneath the roar of the engine.

Flashback #3 — The Almost Confession in the Practice Room

Fuma was exhausted, leaning against the mirrors of the practice room, breathing hard. K handed him a bottle of water, watching as he gulped it down.

"You push yourself too hard," K muttered.

Fuma wiped his forehead with his sleeve. "And you don't push yourself enough."

K rolled his eyes, but the fondness in Fuma's voice made his chest ache.

I like you, he wanted to say. More than I should.

Instead, he just nudged Fuma's knee with his own, and they sat in comfortable silence.

Flashback #4 — The Almost Confession Under the Stars

They lay on the rooftop, staring at the stars. Fuma sighed, stretching his arms above his head.

"I bet you're gonna be famous," he said.

K chuckled. "That so?"

"Mhm. And I'll be the first one cheering for you."

K turned his head to look at him. "What if I don't want you to be the first?"

Fuma frowned. "Huh?"

K swallowed. What if I just want you to be mine?

But he shook his head. "Nothing. Forget it."

 The Last Minute

He reached forward, grabbing Fuma's wrist before he could turn away. "I—I can't keep letting you go without saying it."

Fuma frowned. "Saying what?"

K's heart pounded. He had seconds left. "I like you. I've liked you for so long, and I should've said it a hundred times before, but I didn't. And now you're leaving, and I—"

Before he could finish, a loud yell cut through the air.

"STOP THE TRAIN!"

Everyone in the station turned to see the entire group sprinting toward them, some pushing past confused travelers, others nearly tripping over their own feet.

Nicholas was dramatically waving his arms. "K FINALLY SAID IT, FUMA!"

Taki, still mid-run, pulled out a bag of chips. "OH MY GOD, ARE THEY KISSING?"

Harua gasped. "ARE THEY KISSING?!"

Yuma, out of breath, leaned against a pole. "Wait... are they?"

Jo, completely unfazed, nodded. "They will."

Fuma turned back to K with wide eyes. "You told them?"

K groaned, running a hand through his hair. "I didn't—THEY FORCED ME TO COME HERE."

EJ bent over, panting. "Okay, okay, ignore us! Continue with your dramatic confession."

Fuma chuckled before turning back to K, a playful glint in his eyes. "Say it again."

K exhaled. "I like you. No, I—" He swallowed hard. "I love you. I have for a long time."

Fuma's smile softened.

Then, he grabbed K by the collar and kissed him.

The group collectively screamed.

"OH MY GOD, THEY'RE KISSING!"

"TAKI, RECORD IT!"

"KISS AGAIN, WE NEED A BETTER ANGLE!"

K barely registered anything except for the warmth of Fuma's lips, the way he held onto him like he didn't want to let go.

When they finally pulled away, Fuma laughed breathlessly. "You really waited until the last minute, huh?"

K shook his head. "I waited too long."

The train doors began to close.

Fuma hesitated. "K..."

K took a step back. "Go. We have time. Just... not right now."

Fuma nodded slowly, stepping onto the train, fingers lingering against K's for just a second longer before the doors shut.

The group fell silent as they watched the train disappear into the distance.

Then—

"I CAN'T BELIEVE I WITNESSED A REAL-LIFE DRAMA," Nicholas exclaimed.

Taki wiped a fake tear. "That was beautiful."

Yuma nudged K. "So, when's the wedding?"

K groaned. "I hate all of you."

But as he watched the train vanish, his heart felt lighter. Because this wasn't goodbye.

It was just a see you later.
