A moment of joy

3rd Point of View.

Ever since Giotto and Tsuna officially met, the blonde man has at least visit her once a day, if not busy even three times.

During those visits, Tsuna barely said anything lengthy, opting to answer with one or two words.

That worried Giotto who wants to know more about the brunette woman.

'Maybe she's uncomfortable with talking another language? After all, she's Japanese, maybe she wants to talk to a Japanese person!' Giotto's face suddenly brightened in the middle of his paperwork, G who was reading a reading, had a bad timing glancing at him and flinched at such out of place expression.

'Did...' G squints his eyes, 'Did he fell in love with his paperwork?'

'I know just who to ask for!' with that, Giotto continued his work in a merry manner, further creeping out his right-hand man.

Infirmary.

Inside the room, Tsuna is seen reading a book with a tranquil face.

Her attire consists of a mint colored loose dress to not irritate her bandaged wounds, her hair, that was washed and cleaned with the help of few maids, is fluffy and made into a neat low bun, baby hair frame her cheek and forehead.

Beside her, on the table beside the table is a cup of steaming hot tea, made by Elena, the maid that was surveying her.

Despite her eyes reading, her mind is in a turmoil, worry settling in her belly and anxiety is crushing her lungs, making it hard to breathe.

It's been several days since the Vindice left her in the hands of her ancestor, said man has been welcoming and kind.

Despite the blonde man's actions to know her better, Tsuna is too worried to think of him as of now, waiting in anxiety for any news of her Famiglia.

Are they alive and well? Do they know she's alive? That she's 170 years deep in the past?

As more questions appear in her head, her hold on the book slacked and it flopped on the sheets, Tsuna sighs and rubs her eyes with the heel of her palms, suddenly having the urge to sleep for the umpteenth time of the day.

She grabs her book again, and sets it on the table, just beside the cup. Tsuna moves her legs and was about to sink under the sheets when the door opened with a bang and came in Giotto, dragging someone by their wrist.

"Giotto! Slow down, de gozaru!"

Ah.

Yamamoto Takemi.

Upon seeing the man's face, Tsuna instantly remembered her dear friend's carefree face, always smiling.

"You once said, you want to know about the girl, here's your chance. Sit down." Giotto forced Asari to sit down near Tsuna who just watches them and the two Japanese people stare in confusion as Giotto pushes the mini sofa since it's the only chair available and easy to push.

The two winced at the screeching sound and, once near, Giotto jumped over the plush seat and sits with a bounce, he perched his chin on both his palm and looks at them with an excited look.

"..."

When they just look at him weirdly, he pouts and urged them, "Well? Go on? Converse in Japanese and talk about Japanese things."

Umm, okay, rood.

Asari and Tsuna shared an glance before indulging the man, they turn to each other and Asari bowed, grinning at the familiar gesture, Tsuna reciprocated.

"Hello." he greets.

Tsuna cracked a small smile and Giotto inwardly whooped in joy at the progress, "Hello to you too."

"Are your injuries healing fine? Or do we need to call for a doctor." Asari began asking her general questions about her health to let her relax, maybe crack some jokes here and there.

"I'm fine, thank you. I don't want to bother you any further. Especially, Giotto-san." At the mere mention of his name and the glance the beautiful brunette gave him, Giotto perked up like a dog who heard his favorite word.

"Are you guys talking about me?" he grinned boyishly.

"As you see, you don't bother us, Sawada-san. Rather, Giotto-san actually takes every opportunity to visit you. He's like a dog." Asari jokes and Tsuna covers her mouth with a dainty hand, laughing against her palm.

"I see, it's really cute."

"Heeeeey." Giotto pouts at the sight of their grins, with the help of his Hyper Intuition, he knows that their making fun of him. "I brought you here to make her feel at home, not to make fun of me, Asari." Giotto whines.

Asari raises a hand as an apology to the Don and faces Tsuna, "He's just jealous that he can't understand what we're talking about." the woman simpers. Asari Ugetsu is the definition of rain alongside her own Rain Guardian.

Calm and Soothing.

"Would you like to take a walk, Sawada-san?" Asari asks her and Tsuna contemplates, tilted head and all. After a while, she nodded with a grateful smile.

"It's been days since I've last moved my legs, it's starting to ache." Tsuna agrees and removes the blanket from her legs and Giotto slaps his hands over his eyes, Tsuna looks at him with confusion while Asari laughs.

"Giotto-san?" Tsuna reaches out for the man's hand, a totally new side of her from his point of view. Giotto removes his hands and looks around, flustered.

"I-I-It is indecent for a man to look at a woman's bare legs." was his excuse.

Asari laughs harder, "Asari!" Giotto whines and snarls at the man like a small Pomeranian.

"Umm, Giotto-san." Tsuna meekly calls out. Giotto hums but still not looking at her. Tsuna, amused, smiles. "I'm wearing a long dress, Giotto-san." she said in Italian, it was so cute, her accent is cute, Giotto bets Tsuna is smiling, he bets her smile is cute too.

Asari sighs seeing the dreamy look on Giotto, gosh, what a simp.

"Okay." Giotto mumbled and turns to look at her, pointedly avoiding to look at her lower half but his resistance lost and glances down for a hot second.

True to her word, she's wearing a long mint colored dress. Very loose, revealing her bony collarbone, Giotto mentally noted to himself to request more food on her spread later on.

But now he regretted looking at her because she's so cute, he feels his nose stinging-

"Giotto-san!" Tsuna became frantic and looks around for something. "Tsuna?" he questions, concerned, "Tsuna what's wrong?" he stands up and reaches out for her.

Tsuna lunged for the lone napkin that is on the bed and delicately grabs Giotto's face, pulling him to her. Giotto blushed.

"What-"

Tsuna dabbed the cloth on his cupid bow and pulled away revealing a red stain.

His mind did 2+2 and uttered lowly, "...oh."

"Are you okay? Maybe it's the heat." Tsuna frowns, fanning his face with the cloth, she faces the grinning rain guardian (bastard, Giotto's mind hissed.), "We have to cancel our walk, Ugetsu-san. If we walk outside, I'm afraid, Giotto-san might faint-"

"No!" Giotto suddenly yelp. He snatches the cloth from Tsuna's hand and dabbed his nose repeatedly, with all the dabbing, he's afraid that his nose might not function anymore. Tsuna gaped, taking a step back while Asari sighs at his boss' unpolished movements.

With a final rough rub, he throws the napkin to the bin and stands tall, he tries a charming smile.

But despite his efforts, Tsuna still gapes at him weirdly, he frowns, "Is it still bleeding?" he gingerly touches the tip of his nose. Tsuna closed her gaping mouth and shakes her head, her mouth turning into a sheepish smile.

"It's no longer bleeding but..." she struggled with the next words and ultimately looks at Asari for help. Asari caught the gist of her eyes and turns to Giotto with a calming smile, in the most relaxing voice ever, Asari announced Giotto's embarrassment.

"You now look like a clown."

Giotto screeched so loud and Asari laughed again.

Tsuna just stood there, taking in the scene that again triggered a memory deep in her rattled mind.

'Tsu-nee! Look at what Takemi did to me!' a shorter girl races to the older woman, eyes crying crocodile tears and snot trailing down her nose. But those weren't what Tsuna noticed first.

'Wah, what happened!?'

'Hahaha, Layla asked for a make over and I agreed-' Takemi's explanation is cut off by an indignant Lightning guardian.

'This is not a make-over! I look like a clown!' It was the horrendous makeover, white foundation, dark blue eyeshadow and deep red lipstick is smeared around and over her lips. She looks like a killer clown.

'Technically it's make-over-'

'Aaah! You know what make-over I meant! Huuuh, Tsu-nee, please fix this!' Layla wails.

'Hahaha!'

'Don't laugh!' the curly haired young woman screeched at the carefree girl, with razor sharp teeth and all.

Despite the sadness in remembering her family, Tsuna cracked a genuine smile, feeling immense joy at that moment.

"Asari, please fix this!"

"Hahaha, I don't have Sun Flames, Giotto."

"Don't laugh!"
