the day shu decided to fly back to new york, it had begun to rain heavily mid flight. the plane  had gotten trapped in a thunderstorm, but all passengers were thankful enough to have not been caught in a devastating one. the rested at ease, but kept their guard up in preparation for any occurrence.

shu leaned his arm against the armrest of his seat and stared out the window and at the pouring rain, the soft buzz of it all ringing in his ears. he'd grown tired of the luxury on board and resorted to his thoughts and future plans. a lot was on his mind, but only one thing came up repeatedly in his head.

redemption.

only two months have passed since the events of the international blader's cup, and a lot has happened since then. despite the forgiveness he'd recieved from the beyclub and the bc sol team, it seemed as if valt was the only one still at unease with his return, and of course he understood why his best friend felt that way, if he can still call him that of course. how else was he supposed to feel if the guy he grew up with and trusted the most left without so much as a single word, all for the thirst for more power and strength? the mere recounting of it filled shu with more guilt than he was already bearing. he felt nothing but selfish. it's true spryzen had corrupted him, but he himself was the one who too to new york, met theodore, and followed through on his offer for power. what blinded him was the fact ashtem had help up on his promise with no ulterior motives.

shu shook his head to get rid of the negative memories. he focused on only one thing; to return to new york and make sure theodore glass got what he deserved for his actions of manipulating bladers. back at bc sol and with the help of kris and raul, he learned of something called restitution. all he knew was that because of the expirements theodore had done to his body, he was able to claim any compensation, even if he agreed to the situation. and in the end, shu only wanted one thing.

theodore had been a very convincing man, but it was clear he wasn't fit to lead bladers, much less train them. shu wanted ownership of the raging bulls, to make up for theodore's ways and be a better owner than he was. "flight 82 is now landing, thank you for using newark airlines." he took a breath in. it was now time to face the notorious theodore glass.

this time, shu wouldn't hold back.

in all honestly, shu wanted to make a bad ass entrance.

he had made it all the way up to the top floor, where theodore's office was located and where he was currently in. standing in front of the wooden doors, shu contemplated on how to do this. he wanted theodore to be in shock and panic, so he thought of kicking down the door. but that would require too much effort and he'd most likely end up ruining the whole bad ass essence of it.

shu gave up and pushed both doors open, both slamming into the walls with a loud thud. " theodore!" the man sitting at his large desk looked up and smiled. "ah, if it isn't red eye-" "that's not my name!" shu retorted loudly. the multicolored man nodded and motioned for him to come closer. "of course, my apologies. to what do i owe the pleasure of your visit, shu?"

the albino slammed a fist onto the desk. the action didn't bother theodore any bit, it just made him smile more. "i'm here to make you pay for what you've done!"

"for what i've done?"

shu nodded, every bit of rage within him seeping into his words. "read my lips, you bastard. i lost almost because of you! my friends don't trust me that much anymore, all of the bladers that looked up to me have lost their faith in the sport of beyblade, and now the love of my life-" he caught himself mid sentence.  the words didn't settle right in his mouth, he didn't deserve to call valt that. "ignore that, but look, you need to face the consequences of your actions."

theodore waited for him to stop before letting out a cold, long laugh. he stood up abruptly and yelled back, "i took everything away from you? please." he walked over to shu, who didn't dare move a muscle as he raised a finger and traced his chin. "i remember you agreeing to the plan. it was you in the end who did this to yourself, so why should i be to blame?"

he was right, but shu had a counterargument. "what about those experiments that led to spryzen corrupting me? up until now, i have now memory of how those happened or if i even gave consent." shu knew he struck gold, because theodore's eyes widened. what he didn't expect was for the man to kick him down and push a hand against his throat. "that's none of your concern!"

"but it is, and it concerns me too."

shu managed to loo as far as to see boa, standing at the entrance of the door with what appeared to be police officers. he pointed at theodore and said, "that's him, the man that used illegal substances on shu to corrupt him." the nodded and charged towards theodore, who growled and backed away towards the edge of the window. boa ran to shu and helped him sit up. "he.. he used illegal substances on me?!" the light brown haired male nodded, helping the albino up. "don't get me wrong, i didn't want to help you in any way, after all you did hurt valt, but i found out you wanted ownership of the raging bulls. you'll definitely make up for his corrupt ways."

"sir, turn yourself in, or we will be forced to physically force you!" theodore smirked, he wasn't planning on giving it all up soon. he looked down the window. it was too great of a height, one that would surely cause a death. he looked up at everyone staring at him, and broke into a run around the desk to try and outrun the police, but alas he wasn't fast enough. they held him down and dragged him to the first floor, despite his struggling.

shu and boa followed close behind, wanting to see what would become of the man that pursued them both.

theodore growled as the authorities forcefully pushed him into the squad car.  shu flinched slightly as he yelled, "this isn't over, red eye!" he laughed, a sickening one. "you may have gained ownership of the raging bulls but i'll return someda-" with a final push, theodore was now in the car, doors shut as he . the police nodded to shu, an indication theodore would no longer be a bother to him. he watched as they drove off, the wind picked up and swayed his hair gently before he said,  "my name is shu kurenai, i reclaim this body back from my bey and promise to make up for my actions."

boa stared at the ablino speak to no one, but nonetheless didn't interrupt and just listened. they looked at the sunset as boa said, "well, i have to go now." shu hummed in response. "where will you go from here?"

boa shrugged and took out his bye. "i still want to get stronger on my own." he looked at the albino and added, "if it weren't for valt, i would've probably thrown out my bey and hadn't become friends with him, so i might just work towards being a strong blader until i beat him!" shu was shocked but smiled slightly and nodded. the light brown haired male nodded a goodbye before walking off.

shu looked back at the building. it was his now, and he wanted to make sure he did this right. he walked back inside and headed for theodore's- well, his office now. on the way, shu remembered he'd accidentally called valt the love of his life. it's true he'd always had feelings for the smaller male, but he'd only realized now, when it had already been too late. he was unsure if valt would ever forgive him, but he knew for a fact he was going to damn try and earn it. he walked into the office where he had previously faced theodore. the sunset outside was faded into the night sky by now, a beautiful sight in shu's mind.

he then got a sudden idea, and sat down at the desk, looking for a piece of paper and something to write with. "i'm going to make it up to you, valt..," he muttered to himself before he finally found the supplies needed. this had to be right, otherwise it wouldn't work. shu sighed and set to work with a refusal to pay mind to any distractions.

"dear valt.."
