"Wei Ying!!!" I scream.

I run forward but Mai Yin grabs me.

"Let go." I say.

"We should be running." Ibu stands up.

"Yes, you really should." He starts rising.

I take my sword.

"Lan Wangji! Stop." Mai Yin slaps me.

I look at her in surprise. 

"We need to focus." Mai Yin starts running.

"Wei Ying!" I yell.

I try to break off from her. Shiyo shoots forward. Fire shoots down. Fire mixed with ice. I let out a breath. A tear slides down my face. Wei Ying... what have I done? Mai Yin pulls me out of the way of the fire. She looks at me.

"Will you focus already?!" She yells.

"He's dead." I mutter.

She looks down.

"I know, but... duck!" Mai Yin yells.

A sword flies out and hits Shiyo. I turn.

"Lan Wangji!" Brother yells running over.

"Brother... how did-" I start.

"We could've used your help a while ago." Mai Yin spits.

"Second Master Lan," Jiang Wanyin comes forward.

I look down. 

"Well... this is a surprise." Shiyo says.

He rises up and a mixture of ice and flame shoots across the mountain. Wings for on the back of his body. He looks down at us. 

"You all look so small." Shiyo laughs.

"Who are you?!" Jiang Wanyin yells.

"Wei Wuxian's uncle." Mai Yin answers.

I look at her.

"What?" She ask.

Jiang Wanyin stops.

"His... his uncle?" Jiang Wanyin says.

"Yeah, and you are...?" Mai Yin gestures.

"Wei Ying's brother." I glare at her.

"Oh. Ohh... oh. Sorry." Mai Yin looks down.

"Speaking of which, where is he?" Jiang Wanyin says.

I look down. There's no way I can just tell him his own brother is dead. Wei Ying... he can't be dead. Can he? I... I have so much left to say to him. I grip my sword. He can't be dead. I refuse to believe it.

"He's dead and gone." Shiyo says.

"What? What are you talking about?!" Jiang Wanyin yells.

He turns to us.

"What is he saying?!" Jiang Wanyin says.

"I threw him off the cliff." Shiyo laughs.

"No... tell me it's not true Hanguang Jin!" Jiang Wanyin yells.

I turn my head.

"No..." Jiang Wanyin falls to his knees.

"Let the destruction commence!" Shiyo roars.
