深夜 (Late Night)
"Wei Ying, sleep." Lan Zhan says.
"Heh... can't." I hiss through the pain.
"Anybody else starving?" Mai Yin asks.
I slowly nod.
"Okay, leave it to me." She gets up and turns.
Lan Zhan wasn't really looking at me. Have I pushed the question too far. I hear Mai Yin shuffle to the back. Lan Zhan was sitting kind of far from me. Too far to shuffle. I hiss as I stand up. Lan Zhan turns as I walk over to him.
"Wei Ying, you shouldn't move too much." Lan Zhan says.
"Are you... are you mad at me?" I ask.
"Why would I be?" Lan Zhan asks.
"Because I asked you about me dying." I say.
"No." Lan Zhan says.
"Okay, found it." Mai Yin comes down with a bunch of stuff.
She places a bunch of sticks down. I shoot my hand out and I light them on fire.
"Thanks, uh... why are you standing?" Mai Yin asks.
"Why shouldn't I be?" I ask.
"Probably because you have a cursed weapon in your body." Mai Yin points out.
Lan Zhan grabs my arm.
"Okay, okay, point taken." I say.
I sit down next to him. I wince. Lan Zhan pulls my shirt back to see the wound.
"Well... it hasn't changed." I cough.
Lan Zhan grabs another blanket and hands it to me.
"Keep yourself warm." Lan Zhan says.
He doesn't care.
Kill them.
I turn and see what Mai Yin is doing.
"You're cooking, now?" I ask.
"Yes. I'm a woman after all." Mai Yin says.
"Fair enough." I yawn.
"Food first, then sleep." Mai Yin looks at me.
"Okay deal." I say.
