失散已久的家人 (The Long-Lost Family Member)

"Wait... what are you talking about?" I ask.

"I'm surprised no one told you." He walks forward.

"Stay back." Lan Zhan says.

"Who are you?" Mai Yin asks.

"My name is Shiyo Wuxian." He says.

I jump. We... we have the same last name. He shoots back and sits down on an ice throne. My hands were starting to shake. Lan Zhan grabs my arm. He chuckles and forms an ice cup. What is this? Who are you?

"Did he just say... Wuxian?" Mai Yin asks.

"Who are you?" I ask.

"The man who was your father was my brother." He says.

"So..." I start.

"Welcome home nephew." He says.

My eyes widen.

"Should... should we faint?" Mai Yin asks.

I drop my flute. Lan Zhan and Mai Yin look at each other.

"Don't act so surprised, we have a lot in common." He says.

"We... uncle?" I could barely choke out the words.

"Just because we share the same blood, doesn't mean anything." He says.

"What did you do to my parents?" I ask.

"Are you that childish you don't know the cost?" He asks.

My eyes widen.

"You..." I start.

"Yes. I killed them." He says.

"Why?!" I yell.

"Why do I have to say? Why should you care? You're fine." He stands up.

"That is a monstrous act, which will punish you for the rest of your life." Lan Zhan says.

"Yeah well... fuck it." He shrugs.

"Uh? Guys, I get the feeling there's not four of us here." Mai Yin says.

I look up and I see giants made of ice. They jump down. Lan Zhan pulls me out of the way. He shoots his chi at them. It doesn't look like much has happened.

"What the?" Mai Yin asks.

"We have to fight." I say.
