Chifuyu put a glass of water on the counter and gave you a pat on the head (causing you to turn a little red. Just a little.) before disappearing into the back of the pet shop, shouting at Kazutora to do something.

You weren't sure why you agreed to working part-time at Chifuyu Matsuno's pet store. As business there wasn't really amazing per se, the pay wasn't a lot, and you were sure you would earn more working at the café near your house. You never really were particularly...fond of animals either, ever since the last encounter with Chifuyu's cat, which left a large scar on your hand. There was nothing much, really, to gain there, except for...

You slapped yourself on the cheeks, cursing silently when your eyes flickered over to where the black-haired owner was standing, his (alluring) blue eyes gazing fondly at the cat in his arms. Chifuyu was only your friend, and for now, your boss. You couldn't be catching feelings for him now, could you?

Huffing as pink dusted your puffed-up cheeks, you grabbed your phone from your pants pocket and unlocked it, hoping to find some source of entertainment. You didn't know how, but a few minutes later you were absorbed in a fun game - a game of guessing what Chifuyu's wifi password was.

"You really do a good job on setting passwords, huh..." you grumbled under your breath as you entered in 'bajisan1234' (don't ask, okay? The guy has crazy respect for his ex-captain).

Wrong again. Your fingers absent-mindedly typed on the keyboard as you gazed at the empty glass of water in front of you, when suddenly you heard a small ping from the phone.

"Eh? It worked...?" your eyes shot to the screen immediately.

You turned your neck sharply at the voice, forehead painfully banging into one Matsuno Chifuyu's.
