"Lan Zhan." Mother Mountain says.

She looks at me.

"I told you he would see you." She says to me.

I nod. I look at him. He can. I'm really surprised by that. If he can... why can't Jiang Cheng? But honestly, should he see me? He thinks of me as just a troublemaker and nothing is more troublesome than the wind. Why should I care if I'm invisible to them. I'm happy here.

"Do you know what happened to him?" Lan Zhan asks.

"I'm afraid I don't." Mother Mountain says. 

I look at Lan Zhan, I told you. I nod at him. Lan Zhan turns. I let out a breath. I jump and perch myself on the tree.

"It is miracles that shape us." Mother Mountain says.

"Miracle?" Lan Zhan asks.

"You do not believe it is?" Mother Mountain asks.

 He looks at me. I shrug. It doesn't matter of my opinion. I wouldn't be able to give one anyway. I

"Isn't it?" She asks.

"He cannot speak." Lan Zhan says looking at me.

I look down. 

"But you can hear him without words, can you?" Mother Mountain asks.

"...Yes." Lan Zhan smiles at me.

"Then, that's a start." Mother Mountain says.
