The moon was at its apex, everything illuminated by its novel radiance.

I found myself trying steal glances of this girl, sitting not so far from me.

Everything about her seemed...interesting. I can look at myself and confidently

acknowledge that I am boring and not worth her time.

She slowly stood up. With a brief but friendly smile, she walked back into the house

without a word. I should have said something, maybe a good bye?

I wanted to speak with her, yet I didn't. If I went near something so delicate and interesting

I would definitely break it. I think I can be content looking at her from a distance.
