Education
Education has missed the point. Indeed being taught how to think may be better than being taught what to think, but that is still too narrow. Education isn't a mould but a facilitator. Its purpose should be guiding people not instructing them. Let people find their own way of thinking and then challenge it.

Are we learning anything in class after a certain point?
After grasping the basics, it might feel as though we aren't learning anything new: things you are being told might seem like common deductions. The common rebuttal to this is that you think it's a common deduction but you only reached that deduction because you are subconsciously absorbing knowledge when the teacher talks which stimulates an educational environment. It is thus argued that after a certain point, knowledge is not gained through direct lecturing, but rather through one's own subconscious thoughts influenced by the lectured topic – at this point, knowledge comes from inspiration.
But is this true?
Why is it that people gasp when the lecturer says something like "different social classes have different thought and ideologies"? Is it really that enlightening? Doesn't everyone already have individual variations in ideologies and isn't it obvious that a social group will influence your beliefs? From that, doesn't it seem to be common sense that different social classes have different thought and ideologies?
But was this obvious to me before the lecturer said it, or does it seem obvious to me now that he has said it? Perhaps I feel that I could have come up with that deduction on my own, however, perhaps that is a logical fallacy of hypothesis contrary to fact.
Thus, if one is unable to think of an idea, does that mean that they don't know it?
E.g.
A: I can't take both X and Y to C because they're too heavy.
B: Why don't you take one at a time?
A: Ohhhhhhh.
Did A really not know that they could take them one at a time just because they couldn't think of the idea?

Education is just removing the cataracts of what we can already see. We already know everything; education merely brings our knowledge into focus.
It just helps us understand our innate 灵感
