Buckminster Fuller : "All children are born geniuses, and we spend the first six years of their lives degeniusing them."
All of us are natural philosophers, we have just been "educated" into stupidity
The reasons I am writing this book:
1. Things just don't make sense anymore. (But why does that even matter?)
2. I am in pursuit of Truth because I can't bring myself to live any other way... I mean, I can live in ignorance, but there are growing (and becoming more frequent) sparks of spontaneous irritation that I feel towards the way humans live.
3. My unconscious wanders faster than the speed of light, my conscious cannot keep up in a single month, let alone a week, day or hour. My ideas, therefore, leak into my conscious mind in fragments as they complete revolutions around my mind.
4. There is too much noise in my mind and I need to record the sounds individually to make sense of them.
5. I am mistaking epiphanies for déjà vu. I am often struck with an idea that I believe to be completely original or am inspired by something I've seen, read or heard only to find that I already covered that topic a long time ago. This book is therefore also a record of my sanity, a safeguard against intellectual amnesia. Also "proof" when people doubt me when I say that I have already 'been there, done that'. I did have physical proof, but I need a digital backup because I am a klutz.
6. On a 'mission to civilise'; unslandrize "quixotic" approaches
*This is an ongoing piece of work
Edit - The only rule without exceptions is that there are always exceptions. I know, it sounds paradoxical but that's another reason why life is fun... at least for me. With that in mind, nothing I say is definite. I make mistakes just like you so if I use words like "all", "everyone", "we", etc. please note that there is "always" an unsaid fine print that "always" has an exception.
