Her long hair flowed like golden threads tied up neatly as she dribbled the ball towards the basket in the empty court. I watched her eyes round wondering how she could be so graceful even while tired and sweating while I would almost die after running 200 meters.

"Close your mouth, I am not here to collect your drool." Chaeyoung snapped.

"Well, well, well if it isn't Park Chaeyoung!" Hoseok hyung plopped out of nowhere, considering the fact that he has already graduated. Maybe he is here to pick up Chae.

"Shut it, will ya?" Chae snapped.

"Chaenyeol oppa left, wae waeeeee ~~~" Hobi hyung mocked her pretending to pound a wall and throw an imaginary pillow.

"Well, at least I will be something Chaeyoung and not remain Jung Chaeyoung the rest of my life, unlike someone who will die alone hugging 19 cats." She smiled sickly.

"I already have a girlfriend!"

"Trust me she will leave too!"

"Says the girl who is an accident of our parents."

"Please, if I was an accident then your 3 year old self wouldn't have woken up in the middle of the night to ask 'Is dadwee hwurting mommyee?' in your broken language."

"Ha-"

"Shut it both of ya!" I snapped. Can these two not go one day without almost killing each other?

"Will you ask her out or are you a hopeless case?" Chae asked me.

"Stop making 'The Boy in Striped Pajamas' reference just because you can!" I glared at her.

"If you don't ask her out, I mama tell Jimin to do it." Hobi hyung said.

"If you dare steal my best friend's to be girlfriend, I swear oppa I will make your life a living hell." Chae spat at him.

"If it isn't already hell with you in it, oh the great Devil!" Hobi hyung smiled like an innocent child of seven.

'Yah -"

"SHUT UP!" I glared at them.

I looked at Lisa who was now drinking water her collarbones clearly visible, her thin long fingers wrapped around the bottle. I wanted to ask her out so bad, but I know it's never going to happen as she is the jock and well I am the nerd. I am not even a sexy nerd like Namjoon hyung who graduated last year with Hobi hyung. HE HAD FRIGGIN' 148 IQ, LIKE WTH PEOPLE?

"You want to ask her out, just ask if you can court her." Chae said.

I gave her the 'like it's that easy' look and saw two girls almost fainting after seeing Hobi hyung who forcedly smiled at them. Yes he was the Literal Golden Boy of last year, good in everything. Every girl drooled over him except one who even slapped him saying he's a jerk. Now they're together, great love life, just like a movie, unlike mine.

LISA POV

I saw Taehyung oppa, yes I call him that even though we are not close, approach me. He was the nerd who followed me every day here. He thinks I don't notice him but I do, especially the fact that he is extremely handsome but doesn't acknowledge it.

Suddenly I saw him approach me and hastily stood up accidentally tripping the bottle. 'Cute' I saw him mutter and tried hard to be myself again.

"Hi oppa." I flashed him my brightest smile.

"H-hi, umm Lisa can we talk for a minute?"

"Sure!"

"Ikindalikeyouandwaswanderingifyouwouldletmecourtyou?"

"What?"

"I kinda like you and was wandering if you would let me court you?"

"Yeah of course!"

Inside my heartbeat was increasing like a roller coaster only going up and I was hoping he did not hear it.

"Hey Lalisa Manoban, what's up?" The snobby senior of our team Cho Hee asked.

"Your snobby attitude is up!" I snapped back.

"Oo, I see you got together with a nerd, well that's exactly what you get for being such a stupid idiot."

"FYI, he's courting me, and don't say nerd like it's a forbidden thing, at least they have brains, which you and your long list of boyfriends and girl-friends lack HIGHLY!"

"Huh -"She turned her back and stomped away.

"Pick my bag and bottle, you're courting me duh!" I flipped my hair at Tae oppa.

"Uh-uh yeah!" He hastily picked up those as I grinned at my little trick.

"Aish, stop I can do that on my own, I was just messing with you." I giggled.

"Courting is a serious commitment you are making to get to know a woman with the intention of the relationship leading into marriage." He spoke solemnly and my throat dried at the thought of marriage.

"Ha- you thought you were the only one who can mess around, I learnt it from Google." He showed his absolutely adorable boxy smile.

"So Tae oppa should we walk home?"

"I have a car."

"Oh!"

TAEHYUNG POV

<Next Day>

"Hey Lili!"

"Hey!" Ah her smile can kill me any day.

"Here's lilies for my lily!" I said cringing internally at my own words.

"Cheesy, but thanks!" She laughed.

"Why give flowers, when you can't eat them?" An unknown voice spoke up.

"Jeon Jungkooooook!" Lisa screamed and turned around to hug him tightly.

I watched the boy from head to toe noticing that he is younger than me, had a bunny face and slightly parted brown hair from the middle- he was cute to be honest.

"Ah Kookie-ah I missed you!" Lisa spoke hugging him tightly.

"I missed you too, Pranpriya." He grinned showing his bunny teeth.

"STOP CALLING ME THAT!" She pouted and he pinched her cheek muttering cute.

HE PINCHED HER CHEEKS. I suddenly felt like the third wheel there so to remove the awkwardness I said, "Lisa, I will catch up with you at café after school okay?" I forced a smile.

"Tae, can Kookie come with us, please?" She made a pleading face.

"Okay!" I replied shortly and left 'Pranpriya' with 'Kookie'.

<Time Skip>

"So he's the new boy?" Chae asked. "Wae?" I asked.

"No-nothing!" She ran to class almost tripping over the Janitor's sweeping bucket and yelled a 'mianhae' to him.

LISA POV

I walked through the hallways when suddenly I overheard Taetae and Chaeyoung talking. I being the evil little girl I am decided to eavesdrop on the conversation.

"So you're going to fight for her right?" Chaeyoung questioned Taetae.

"Of course, but why are you so nervous, may I know?" He teased her.

"I-I am j-just he-helping m-my b-best fr-friend." She stuttered. Tsk tsk bad liar. "Okay fine, I like that Jungkook boy ok, like have you seen him, he is cute and hot, a full buffet."

I ran from there and called Jungkook.

"Yah Jk."

"What?"

"I need a favour."

"That will be 50 won please."

"What? No! 25 and it comes with a hot girl."

"Honey, I don't measure girls except my cousins. Oh wait I have only one girl cousin - YOU - the other is my boy Bambam."

"How much?"

"35 won and job is done."

"Fine."

I ran back to Taetae and told, "Chaeyoung can come too you know?" and made my puppy eyes, his weakness. "OK" He replied and I walked out successful on my mission. A jealous and cute Tae- why would I miss that package.

<Time Skip>

"Girl you did not tell me Chaeyoung was this hot AND cute." Jk muttered.

"Shut up and remember the favour you idiot." I muttered.

TAEHYUNG POV

My blood boiled at the sight of Jungkook and Lisa laughing and chatting away with each other. They reached the final straw when Jungkook took a napkin and wiped the food off Lisa's mouth.

"Jungkook, can we talk OUTSIDE?" I faked a smile.

"Yeah, sure hyung!" He spoke up as I dragged him out.

Before even letting him speak I bursted, "Yah, do you know I am courting Lisa?"

"Yeah, I do!"

"Then why are you doing this?"

"Doing what?"

"Look, I am frustrated by the way you behave with her."

"Why are you trustfrated?"

"It's FRUSTRATED, uh leave it, do you love her?"

"Yes, of course!"

"So, now I have some competition."

"Oh, tea who is it?"

"YOU! YOU JUST SAID YOU LOVED HER!"

"Well, shouldn't I love my sister!"

"Yeah ofc you wou- , your WHAT?"

"Lisa, my sis."

"S-she i-is y-your s-sister?"

"Yeah, oh wait , you thought omg! Trust me I was surprised that such a handsome boy like you fell for a girl like HER! Oh, and BTW your friend is one hot chick!

"Just so you know hyung, Lisa gave me 30 won for this!" He grinned.

"Yo sis, you got a real overprotective boyfriend (not yet but yeah) here!"

"Chae, why don't you talk to Jungkook, apparently he thinks you're both hot and cute." I smirked as Jungkook blushed furiously.

"Ah hyung~ h-hi Ch-Chaeyoung." Jk whined.

"Did smooth talker Kookie just stutter?" Lisa teased.

"Lisa, can I talk to you outside." I asked.

"Yes!" She replied me sensing the nervousness in her voice.

<Outside>

"Lisa I don't think this will work." I spoke up and she looked at me wide-eyed.

"Huh, I am so sorry to trick you, I really like you. I love the way you smile at simple things and the way your face lights up with that boxy smile and not to mention you are intelligent as hell, I am so sor-" She blabbered on.

I quickly kissed her chick to stop her and she stayed stunned from my move.

"You think you're the only one with tricks?" I smirked.

She blushed furiously and looked at me with a question of 'what are we now'.

Yes, her eyes are a open book.

"Are you ready for it?" I asked slowly tucking a strand of hair behind her ears.

"Never have I ever been more ready." She whispered as I locked my lips with hers.

She smiled through the kiss and so did I.
