Tsuchigomori sensei sent you home after all the confusion he has caused that day.

Walking back to your apartment you felt a cold breeze come by you.

It was about to rain.

You looked around for somewhere to wait the rain out since you left your umbrella at school this morning.

Luckily for you there was a conveniece store nearby.

You entered it quickly not wanting to get soacked in the rain.

"Hi! How may I help you today?"-said one of the staff.

"That's one heavy storm from the looks of it dear. You're lucky you just got here before it starts pouring."-they said looking out the foggy window.

A few loud thunder shocks here and there where heard before the rain finally came splashing down as it hid the road.

"Say... you're from that school nearby aren't you? I recognise that uniform."-the staff said smiling at you softly.

He was quite old judging by the excesive wringkles present on his face.

"Well- looks like the storm wont be stopping anytime soon. Would you like some tea or coffee dear? Oh and dont worry, my treat of course."-he giggled.

He reminded you of your grandpa back when you were young. The kind and friendly type. So you agreed.

Both of you sat on the barstools near the cashier. He looked happy telling old stories to you. Maybe he doesn't often get the chance to do so.

"You young lads are quite a handful these days" he chuckled. "Say... are you going to the  Star festival this weekend? It's quite packed but I'm sure you and your friends would enjoy it"

Speaking of the Star festival- Chizu did ask you if you we're willing to go with her.

The rain outside began to settle down. You exchange goodbyes with the old store clerk and made your way home.

After taking a quick shower you went to bed.

*Morning*
You woke up feeling relieved. You had a dreamless night, one that you haven't experienced in a while.

-beep-beep-beep-
You rummage through your bag to find your phone ringing.

"Hello? Hey Y/n! Tonight's the star festival! Are you ready? Lets go hangout for the day. What do you say?"-Chizu screamed.

"Sure Chizu, let me get ready first."-you yawned.

"Alright I'll wait for you in the cafe then!"-she said before hanging up.

You quickly got dressed and grabbed your bag.

Chizu was sitting on one of the empty tables outside the cafe. She waved you to the table when she spotted you.

"Y/n! I asked Tsukasa kun if he's taking Amane san with him to the star festival, and he said yes!"-she screamed.

"I doubt he'll let go of Amane when we're around"-you sighed.

"Awe don't be like that! It's one of the biggest festivals this year! Let's just have fun later okay?"-she pleaded.

The two of you spent the entire morning at the cafe talking about school

Chizu needed to be somewhere else to be in the afternoon so you decided to go home.

On your way back you remembered that you left your umbrella at school. Luckily their open during saturdays so you decided to drop by and get it.

The school was unusually quiet and peaceful during weekends.

You made your way to your classroom but unfortunately it was locked.

"Oh, Y/n? What are you doing here?"

You turned around and saw Amane.

"Amane kun? Wait, your here too? Did you leave something inside? I left my umbrella inside."-you sighed.

"Oh... I can help you with that-"he said juggling the keys out of his pocket.

"Why do you have a key?"-you asked.

He didn't reply.

"Is this your umbrella?"-he asked handing it to you.

"Yes! Thank you."-you replied.

"Oh umm.. you're going to the star festival tonight right?"-you asked.

"Yeah! wouldn't miss it for the world-"he said looking out the window.

"Well... see you later then!"-you waved him goodbye.

On your way out, you felt your phone vibrating.

It's a text message.

'Library- Tsuchigomori sensei'

You made your way to the library grasping your umbrella.

The library doors mysteriously swung open once again.

"Y/n... have a seat"-Tsuchigomori sensei said gesturing to the chairs.

"Your going to the star festival right? I've read your book and it's stated in there that something WILL happen tonight. There's no use in changing it because we can't, so I'm telling you this so you can be prepared. A school mystery is tampering with your future. So be careful tonight.."-he said looking you worriedly.

"What are they planning to do?"-you asked tightening your grip on your umbrella.

"I-I don't know.. something's preventing me to see past tonight... please- be careful.. The school mysteries recently have been a complete wreck.. especially them."
