It was the next morning. Lola's sofa was so comfortable that you didn't even notice it was daytime and you were still lying there, tucked in, dreaming sweet dreams when... "GOOD MORNING (Y/N)!" You were suddenly awakened by Lola's shouting and her big smile right at your face. You panicked. You couldn't remember where you were as you looked around at the place.

"AAAGH!" You shrieked. "Oh, Lola, it's only you" you said with relief as you wiped the sweat from your brow. "Boy, that was quite a shock"

"Why? Was it now loud I was? Or how I was so close to you? Or maybe..."

" I think it was all of those, mixed with the fact I was still sleeping peacefully " you smiled as you got up and rubbed your eye's.

"Good morning! I'm making pancakes!"

"I can see that" you chuckled.

" want some? " she offered.

"Sure"

"Do you want them with cream? Or berries? Or fruit? Or maybe chocolate hazelnut spread? Or maybe you'd like it with something weirder like..."

" I think some syrup would do me just fine"

"Eh, if you insist"

You dressed and brushed your teeth and hair and then joined Lola at the breakfast table for pancakes.

"Hey, (y/n)?"

" Mmm? " you replied with your mouth full of food.

"Do you have any idea's for a job yet? I could try getting you a job in showbiz if you want! Maybe as a model! Or an actress! Ooh, you'd make the cutest little country star!" Lola could could be crazy, but she was a fun and helpful kind of crazy.

"Uh, I haven't thought of it yet, but I'll look for a job today. I don't think I'm cut out for tv though"

"Why not?" She asks disappointedly .

"Just don't"

You got from the table. "I'm going out to look for a job! Wish me luck!"

" bye! " she waved as you left to search for a job.

You decided to hit the mall. There'd be plenty of shops there for you to apply for a job there.

Meanwhile, Lola really wanted to help out, so she got her phone and made a call.

"Hey, Bugs!"

" Oh, hey Lola " he replied. "What's up doc?"

"Listen, (y/n) is looking for a job today! "

"Oh, good for her. I wish her luck"

"Yeah, but do you know anywhere she could work? I told her to go into show business but you know her! shes too modest! Ooh, wait! The cupcake store! "

"Well she could've got a job at enormocorp, if it were still here" he replied as he shot a look at Daffy.

"I told you Bugs! I shouldn't do thing's for myself! I always mess them up!" Daffy exclaimed.

" Uh huh. Well, I don't know... "

Bugs didn't realise someone was sitting there in mouse hole, listening to the entire conversation with great interest.

"Senor bunny! Senor bunny!" Speedy called.

"Not now Speedy, I'm in the middle of a phone call!" Bugs replied calmly

"I know where (y/n) could apply for a job!" His heart was racing right now.

"Really? Where?" Bugs asked curiously.

"At the pizzariba! She could be a waitress!"

" a waitress? Wait a second, you're the fastest mouse in all of Mexico. Why would you need a waitress? "

"Why wouldn't i? I'm short staffed!"

" Fair enough. Hey, Lola, Speedy wants to hire her as a waitress

"He's offering (y/n) a job! Great! I'll tell her right now! Omg, I'm so excited to tell her!"

" Eh, I'll hang up then" and with that he ended the phone call and went back to his mindless, time wasting arguments with Daffy.

You had looked through a couple shops in the mall and no one seemed to be hiring. Maybe you should apply for a job at the copy place where Tina works? Your phone rang at that moment. You fumbled about in your pocket for a moment to find it before answering. It was Lola.

"Hey Lola"

"Any luck finding a job?"

" Nope. Not at all" you sighed.

"Well guess what?!!"

"What?" You asked.

" I found a job for you! " she squealed with excitement.

"Really? What is it?"

" Ok, remember Speedy Gonzales? That guy who's restaurant we are at last night? The mouse? "

"Yes, I remember him, but what's the job?"

" He wants to hire you as waitress at the pizzariba! "

"The pizzariba eh?" You pictured yourself working there.

"Yeah! He says he'll pay you well! I know he means it! He's such a nice guy! Did you know that one time he..."

" Well, it does sound good. I'll take it! Can you call him and tell him for me, please? "

"Sure, we are besties after all, aren't we? I mean what are friend's for?"

" thanks Lola. I gotta go, bye! "

"Bye!" Lola hung up. "I'd better call Bugs back now and tell Speedy" so she called Bugs number.

"Bugs, I just talked to (y/n) and she wants the job, tell Speedy. Is he there? I could tell him myself if you want or...

"It's ok Lola. Hey, Speedy, (y/n) wants the job" bugs helped across to Speedy who was now in the kitchen, fixing himself a snack.

his heart soared at the though of you working at the pizzariba. "She said yes? Whoo hoo! Yay!" He cheered but then realised everyone was watching him. "I mean good, good, muy bien. She can start work tomorrow "

"Great. He says she can start work tomorrow"

"Awesome! I'll tell her when she comes home"

Meanwhile, you got a taxi home from the mall and as soon as you came in the door, threw yourself on the couch. It was a tiring wall to and through the mall and you exhausted.

"Hey (y/n)!" Lola said with a giggle as she came in.

" Hey Lola " you replied, enthusiastically.

"Speedy says you can start work tomorrow"

" I don't need any training or anything? "

"Why would you? It's a simple job! He'll show you the ropes when you go there tomorrow morning"

"Ok then"

"Come on! You look famished! Let's get you fed! For dessert I got the cutest cupcakes from the cupcake store, omg, you HAVE to try that place someday

"I will" you replied, getting up from the sofa and went to eat dinner with your bestie.
