You had been working at the pizzariba for over a week now. It was a great place. You loved the decor, the customers, your pay and hours and most of all (well, probably second to your pay) your boss. Speedy was a sweet guy, kind, charming and a great boss. As you got to know him better, you found out he also taught dance classes, sang and played guitar. Wow, he was interesting. Of course, he was also the fastest mouse in all of Mexico, but he didn't let all that get to his head. He was still approachable and friendly.

You were currently engaged in wiping down sauce stains on one of the tables. Some customers could be so careless, but thankfully it didn't happen that often. Just then, a customer stepped through the door. He was a male skunk. pretty charming and handsome. He sat down at the table you had finished cleaning and so you took his order.

"Hi! What would you like to order?" You greeted him with a friendly smile, which He returned.

"Hmm, I'll have some tacos, with maybe a side of...a beautiful new waitress? " he stared at you in awe. "And who are YOU my pretty?" He batted his eyelids. He had a French accent when he spoke. You felt a blush spread across your cheeks.

"Oh, I'm (y/n), the new waitress" you introduced yourself to him.

Speedy was in the kitchen, but he came to the counter at that moment, only to see Pepe Le pew, who was now flirting with you. He couldn't stand for that now. He ran over to the table and decided to have a word or two with him.

"Hola (y/n)! Are you having trouble? Let me take it from here" he came and took over from where you started. You just began taking another customers order.

"Hello Pepe" Speedy frowned at him. "What is it you want?"

"Well actually your new waitress is nicer than anything on the menu" he smirked. "Wouldn't you agree?"

"Huh. Well she's not interested in you, so order something and stop staring at her" he said in a dangerous tone.

"Oh, well, just tacos then" he backed down now he saw Speedy was serious. You didn't hear this conflict though, it would've been flattering if you did.

"One plate of tacos coming right up" Speedy then rushed into the kitchen and delivered the food to him.

"Merci"

Later, once the shop was closing up, Speedy struck up a conversation with you.

"Hey, (y/n), how was your day?" He asked.

" Oh, pretty good, thanks. How about you? "

"Oh, you know. Say, you haven't had any bother with any customers, have you?" He appeared to be concerned, but was hinting at Pepe.

"No, not really, but I do think that one was hitting on me today" you confessed.

"Ignore that guy, he's a flirt" Speedy informed you.

"Oh. Really?"

" si, he's been married eight times or something " he rolled his eye's when he said this.

"Hmm. Well, good night Speedy" you smiled at him as you left the restaurant.

"Good night to you too my Angel" he said dreamily.

"What's that?"

" n-nothing "

"Ok, bye"

"Adios!" He sighed. I so badly want to confess my crush to her. When will I ever be able to tell her just how I feel? I'm so happy Pepe backed down. I feel a special connection with her. She's such a beautiful, sweet and caring girl. Ah, I love her so much but I just can't tell her.
