"Hey (y/n)! Wait, what are you doing? Putting on makeup? Perfume? Where are you going?" Lola asked with utmost curiosity as she watched you prepare yourself for your date.

"Well, I actually have a date" you smiled widely and couldn't contain your excitement as you explained this.

Lola seemed to share your excitement as she started waving her fists about and cheering. "Oh my gosh!!!" She squealed. " Please let me help you ready, pretty please! "

"Alright. But make me beautiful" you grinned as Lola sat down and took your hairbrush in her hand and styled your hair neatly.

"So, who is the lucky guy?" She asked slyly and batted her eyelids.

"It's Speedy"

"Oh my gosh!" She dropped everything. "I knew you two would be perfect together! I ship you two!'

" You do? "

"Well, I did, I guess I don't need to now you're both together and whatnot and..."

" Lola, it's just one date! We'll need to see how it goes"

"Eh, alright"

After about twenty minutes, she got you all ready for your date. You looked beautiful with your hair curled slightly and some very light makeup and your favourite perfume. You were wearing you favourite dress/top with your favourite jeans/skirt and high heels.

"Wow, girl! Looking good!" Remarked Lola who was giving you two thumbs up.

" thanks. Do you think he'll like it? "

"Of course he will! If he liked you all sweaty when you were working at the pizzariba, then I'm sure he'll love you now!" It's amazing how even a scatterbrain like her could speak such a truth.

"Well, I'm ready to go, don't wait up for me! '

You both laughed before you went out the door. "Oh wait, I don't get it" Lola said to herself when you were gone.

You were nervous that evening as you stood there at the doors of the pizzariba. It was closed so you knocked on the door. That was when he came to answer it.

"Ah! (Y/n)! You look... " he was taken aback. "You look incredible" he was in awe as he saw you like this.

"Thank you!" You blushed .

"No, but really, you look like an angel! I mean I thought you were beautiful first, but now you're just...wow"

"So you'd like me to look like this everyday?"

" I would, but we can't always get what we want, can we? " he grinned.

"Indeed we cannot" you chuckled.

"Oh! Where are my manners? Come in!" He let you into the place. You had never seen the place this empty before but it felt good.

"As you can see, I booked us a private table"

"Ooh, fancy!"

" Here, let me seat you" he said before pulling out a chair for you and attempting to push it forward when you sat down.

"Here" you laughed. "Let me get that for you" you said as you pulled your chair in so it was closer to the table.

He hopped onto the other chair and sat down. "(y/n), can I just say one thing? It's how amazingly beautiful you look tonight"

" Well thank you! It was Lola that helped me get ready "

"Ah, so she is the artist, and you are the finest work of art I have ever seen" he grinned. You felt your face flush a bright red as he turned on the charm and you could hear the sound of Spanish guitars in the background of your mind as he continued to compliment you.

"So, tell me, how did you ever end up here?" He asked, feeling a lot more confident now that he knew you liked him.

"Well I used to live in (y/c), but I lost my job and my house got repossessed. That was when my old friend Lola invited me to stay with her until I get back on my feet" you smiled as you thought of Lola's kindness.

"Do you miss (y/c)?"

" Uh, a little bit, now and again, but I like it better here"

" I like you better here as well! "

You both laughed at this. You both continued to talk and get to know each other. You discussed work, hobbies and personal interests and opinions before the food arrived.

"Here you are, lovely senorita! The finest (f/f) I have to offer!"

" Well it does look delicious. Thanks! " you both tucked into your dinner. He just had cheese and you were surprised at how quickly he finished it all.

"That was so good" you said when you had finally finished eating.

"It was. Here, let me get your plate for you" he took the plates to the kitchen faster than you could say thanks and hurried back.

"So, steell up for dancing?"

" Oh, I'm so full! "

"It's fine. Come on! I will teach you what you don't know"

" alright then" you shrugged and got up. When he took your hand and started dancing, it was like the whole world had stopped as you both moved across the floor. He was absolutely amazing and you couldn't keep up with him.

"(y/n), I don't know how many times I've stressed it to you tonight, but you're the most stunning (c/t) I've ever laid eyes on" he had a dreamy look in his eyes when he said this.

"You're not so bad yourself"

" Gracias. "

"I just want to say thank you for this wonderful night. It's truly been one of the best of my life"

"Those words, I have waited so long for you to say them. That's all I wanted was to just make you this happy for one night. Maybe I can take you out again sometime?"

You couldn't control your excitement but tried to play it cool. "Yeah! I'd love to!"

" Yay! I know a good place, the sunset room. Perhaps you've heard of it? "

"No, this is the first I've heard of it"

"Then you will enjoy it even more when we go! Eet ees a classy establishment, I know you will love it"

Your perfect date eventually came to an end and you both parted your separate ways at the end of the night.

" good night, Speedy" you blew a kiss in his direction before walking home.

"buenas noches to you too, oh lovely one " he whispered dreamily as he watched you for a moment before he went home.
