‣ dohyun has been a singer since he was 13, constantly involved with the regional choir before receiving private training from a vocal coach. he's currently singing at his university, where he majors in civil engineering (he's on the brink of failing).

‣ he always woke up early in the morning, almost at sunrise, in order to reach the capital city in time for his private training lessons. he lives with his parents in chuncheon and the distance between his hometown and seoul is about 76 kilometers, which corresponds to a 1 hour and 10 minutes train ride.

‣ beomseok has a love-hate relationship with his birth name because he thinks it sounds like a common grandfather name, which isn't surprising since his grandmother suggested the name to his mother. however, he's pretty sure that not many people has the same name as him so deeply inside of him, he's kinda proud of having it.

‣ he discovered his passion for dancing and rapping when he was pretty much young. his favorite rapper in the whole k-pop industry is CL, former member of the girl group 2NE1. he started writing short pieces of rap when he was in middle school. beomseok used to write them down on piece of paper ripped from his excercise book to overcome the boredom of algebra classes.

‣ despite his deep and soothing voice and his sharp shape eyes, beomseok is the sweetest and most kindhearted young man on earth. he likes to give big hugs and his love language is surely physical contact. his charming point is his crooked tooth. it shows when he smiles widely, and his eyes become like two straight lines.

‣ his catchphrase is "bim beom bam! It's beomseok here!"

REASON FOR JOINING MY SUGAR-RUSH! : at first, beomseok thought it would've been awesome greeting both his parents live on national television. seriously talking, since the day he started writing his rap, he wanted to become like one of those cool guys he used to see performing on his television screen, beomseok sat with his legs crossed on the bed admiring them wholeheartedly. at the end of the day, the truth is, beomseok wants to make that little kid's—always dressed with his favorite overalls and rainbow socks—dream come true finally.

‣ he loves volleyball, especially the variant beach volleyball, and has been playing it in his spare time since he was ten. he is quite good at playing it, and he was actually the star player of his high school's team.

‣ his love of colours is not limited to his clothes though - his hair has been through a variety of different dyes and bleaches, both natural and bright hair colours. however, due to him not taking good enough care of his hair and being too broke to afford proper hair treatment, his hair... has seen better days. he hopes that by going on the show (and hopefully debuting), some stylists will be able to take good care of his hair and make him able to dye his hair constantly again.

REASON FOR JOINING MY SUGAR-RUSH! : his two best friends actually signed him up for the audition without his knowledge, half as a joke, half to encourage him to pursue his talent of singing, since he sings really well. when he found out about it, he laughed about it with them, so when he saw that he had passed on to the next audition round, he was shocked, but he decided to just go for it and try it out "because why not?".

‣ despite his 'scary' appearance, beomseok is actually sweet and innocent and unaware of many events happening around him. five things in his main vocabulary are: sleeping, eating, working out, rapping, and dancing. if you try having a serious conversation with him about anything else, he won't be able to follow up as quickly.

‣ beomju's a flirt to people who are close to him but his flirting skills are bad, like really BAD. he'd pull out the most stupid and cheesy pickup lines and he'd do it again even though he knows people are not amused.

‣ he would find any opportunity to flex his muscles. but in his defense, beomju had suffered body dysmorphia when he was in high school due to being incredibly skinny. he's doing a lot better now.

‣ beomju had posted some rap and dance covers on his personal youtube channel but when his previous company discovered it and they had him take it down due to contract issues.

‣ he has a personal grudge (not in a serious way) against people who are at least 10 centimeters taller than him.

REASON FOR JOINING MY SUGAR-RUSH! : before joining "MY SUGAR-RUSH!", beomju was a trainee for four years at cube entertainment. he decided to leave because he wasn't seeing his debut anytime soon. a year of being an independent trainee, he joined this program thinking he might have a chance.

‣ he used to train at YG for three years but despite numerous pleas to be allowed into the trainee program, they only wanted him as an acting trainee and model and stuck him in YG+. atsu came to korea to be a k-pop star and it was incredibly frustrating for him to be pushed into something he didn't want. all his skills he got either from having a naturally pleasant voice or from practice he did on his own or when another trainee at YG would sneak him into dance class and teach him secretly.

‣ as a result, he has done modelling and has acted as side characters in a handful of dramas.

‣ he's a spacey little introvert dreamer. often loses himself in his thoughts and is very comfortable being alone.

‣ he has a very strong moral compass. very lawful good, always does his best to do what he thinks is right.

‣ he's awkward around very loud and outgoing people, especially kids. talking to anyone under 16 has him go *internal dial-up noises*.

like batch one, if you noticed I edited some of your trivia, it was mostly just grammar edits (since I'm aware english isn't everyone's first language here!) and I also had to edit some things to make it match the storyline of msr (all trainees being individual, meaning, no companies!)

I'm hoping the results aren't too close when combined to make an overall ranking, as I almost had 2-3 trainees that were tied for first in batch one. I'm currently just trying to figure out how to go about fixing any ties, since it'll be harder to work around it's potential benefits toward the top seven. I've thought about doing an overall voting but limiting it to "top 3" but honestly I think I'll be better off figuring out a way to have all the top trainees remain.

anyway, like last time, batch two will remain open for TWO DAYS after it's release. unfortunately I will not be allowing extensions to vote for this. if you missed a section/all of it, you've missed it.
