Chat Noir and Marinette were on a balcony together sipping on both of their favorite type of coffee, decaf. They watched the sunrise.

"So Chat Noir......from a scale of 1-10, how much do you love Ladybug?" Marinette asked Chat Noir

"11" he replied enthusiastically

"That wasn't a choice." Marinette said

"M'Lady is more than a choice. You can't give me numbers to choose from to rate her, in fact, no number can rate her....." Chat Noir said in a soft, lovesick tone

Marinette sighed: "Man, I wish someone loved me like how much you love Ladybug."

"I'm sure somebody does." Chat Noir enthusiastically said

"Nope. My crush thinks of me as just a friend. The other one isn't interested in me at all. And the guy that used to have a crush on me has moved on!" Marinette said in a depressed tone

"O-oh....I'm so sorry Marinette......" Chat replied in an even more depressed tone

"Why? You have no reason to be sorry......"

"If it makes you feel better, Ladybug always shrugs me off. My love doesn't matter to her....."

Marinette was suddenly surprised by what the poor cat said. It was so truthful and honest that it hurt her. But the only thing she could reply with was: "I guess we're both loveless......"

Suddenly, Chat had a 'brilliant' idea: "Why don't we fake date?!"

Marinette looked at the cat with disgust: "What is wrong with you Chat Noir. Get out of my balcony.

"But--"

She took a spray bottle and screamed at the cat "OUT!"

The cat sprinted away with all fours

The truth is, Marinette was hurt. She was finally falling in love with the cat then suddenly he brings up a stupid idea to "fake date". She was sick of all of this. Sick of being used.

"Never going to love again."

(Author's note: Depressing am I right? Lols sorryy! I'm probably gonna make a few sad ending oneshots chapters in this book but ey why not!? Also, sorry if it went from 1-10 real quickly)
