A few seconds earlier...

Orpheus and Klaus both instantly pointed at Elijah, declaring truthfully, in unison "It's his fault."

Elizabeth's gaze turned sharply to Elijah, as Morpheus stepped forward, walking through the crowd of confused originals to stand behind his wife, a mirroring dark glare on his face. Elijah licked his lips, bowing his head, cowering before the couple. Kol smirked slowly, enjoying the sight, he glanced at Morpheus and Elizabeth, before looking at Klaus. His eyes widened, picking up on it all instantly, his jaw fell open as he stared at Elizabeth. She was his niece.

"Mama." Orpheus voiced steadly, his concerned gaze on his mother. Elizabeth wasn't moving, she was simply glaring. Morpheus glanced at his son, sensing that there was something wrong. However, he didn't understand what could be wrong. Orpheus took a step forward, as Elizabeth's eyes narrowed. Elijah paled as Klaus, Morpheus and Orpheus looked at the tribrid before sharing a concerned and puzzled expression.

Everyone jumped in their skin at the sound of Elizabeth's roar of pure wrath. With wide eyes, all gazes flew to see Elizabeth's fist come into contact with Elijah's face, before she rapped her hand around his neck. Morpheus blinked repaidly, sharing a glance with Klaus - the pair of them speechless. Orpheus sighed "Mad bastard."

Morpheus' head spun around, shooting a glare at his son "What did you say about your mother?!" He demanded.

Kol cackled, a starstruck expression on his face, he cheered his niece on, ignoring the pointed looks from Finn and Rebekah. Klaus stood dumbfounded as Morpheus glared at his son, scolding him. Elijah cried out, earning their attention once more. Elizabeth was gouging out his eye now.

"Mama! I'm fine. I'm right here." Orpheus exclaimed, carefull approaching his mother. He caught his father's eye, and gestured to Elizabeth. Morpheus nodded, "Dad's fine, he's right here. Granddad too. You don't have to kill uncle Elijah. Maybe wound him, but you don't have to kill him."

Elizabeth screeched when Morpheus tugged her away from her uncle. He kept his arms around her waist, he whispered calming words in her ear. Elijah's back hit the wall, he blinked, staring fearfully at his niece with his one eye. His left eye slipped through Elizabeth's fingers, on to the floor. Orpheus ran to his mother, embracing her. A low growl left her lips, however the arms of her husband and son seemed to calm her down.

Klaus blinked, feeling sense of pride but also fear. Kol cackled, making everyone apart from the family of three look at him astranged. He whipped a tear from his eyes, he sauntered to Klaus and threw his arms around him. The hybrid's jaw dropped - what?

"I love your daughter Nik, and your grandson." He smiled brightly at his blonde brother, "And also," he released an bewildered Klaus and spun around, giving a pointed look to his siblings - who looked at him with furrowed frowns "I have one thing to say," he turned serious, pointing at the endless, tribrid and quatbrid - more so at Elizabeth and Orpheus "they're mine. And Nik's." He added after a single thought.

"I knew Lizzie was like you, Nik." Rebekah mentioned, running a her hand across her forehead and down her face "But bloody hell, she is you."

Kol snorted, a beaming and proud smile on his face, "No. She's worse." He whipped a imaginary tear from his eye, chuckling to himself a fond look on his face.

Klaus scrowled, his eyes narrowed. Orpheus had advised them all to let his parents and himself have a moment alone, and as much as the hybrid understood that his siblings were eager to surround his daughter and grandson, he wanted to give them as much space as they needed. However, he waited to there with his daughter, to comfort her, apologise for his brother's actions. He crossed his arms "I knew you'd react like this, Kol. I knew you'd fall in love the moment you set eyes on them."

Kol smirked, placing a hand on his chest "You know me so well, brother." He raised his brows, inching forward with a curious expression on his face, "Speaking of my - our -" he corrected at the sound of Rebekah clearing her thoat pointedly, and Finn's glare, "darling, beautiful niece, who's her gentleman friend?" He inquired, wondering who the inky haired man, who had his arms around his new-founded niece rather intimately, exactly was.

Finn stared at his brother, curiously. Did Klaus know that who the king of the Dreaming was? It had taken him years before he found about him, yet alone actually meet him. Elijah turned his gaze to his brother, as did Rebekah - she'd grasped that the stranger was her mysterious husband. Klaus sighed, scrowling "He's Morpheus, Lord Morpheus. It's not my place to tell. He's her husband, and he's been there for her while I wasn't." He spat bitterly.

Kol frowned, blinking. Rebekah pouted sadly as Elijah bowed his head, both aware of the fact that Katherine had kept Elizabeth from her father for her entire life. Finn's brows furrowed, glancing over his siblings. When he'd known Elizabeth in the Dreaming, she hardly mentioned her father, only saying that she never knew him. He'd never imagined that he'd been his brother, and that he'd been talking with his niece. Guilt rippled through him. He had known Elizabeth, and witnessed Orpheus' childhood when it should have been Niklaus in his place.

The siblings' attention was drawn by Orpheus, who hugged his grandfather, burying the side of his face, tiredly in the hybrid's chest. Klaus blinked shocked by the action, but quickly embraced his grandson, he stroked his inky hair "How's your mother?"

"Calmer. She should be fine, as long as uncle Elijah doesn't get too close." Orpheus said, as he withdrew from his grandfather. Klaus released him, tucking a stray hair from his face. Orpheus gave him a look "Y'know, this would have never happened if you have awoken uncle Kol."

Kol smiled instantly, his heart swelled. Rebekah, Finn and Elijah each had a look of defeat. Klaus blinked, giving his grandson a pointed look "I didn't undagger Elijah, Damon did. Anyway," he pointed a finger at his beaming brother "that's Kol."

Orpheus turned his head, and he smiled "Uncle Kol!" Kol smiled, opening his mouth to speak but when Orpheus hugged suddenly, he stuttered as he stumbled slightly. Before he grinned, hugging his grand-nephew.

Morpheus and Elizabeth rested their foreheads together, eyes drowning in one another as they held each others hands, they stood extremely close to one another. The tribrid apologised for her behaviour. To which the endless chuckled slightly, nuzzling his nose against hers, stating how it was in defence of their son. And due to Orpheus' death, it was understandable that she was overprotective. Also, it was quite within her right to be angry.

"I have to go," he sighed with defeat, closing his eyes for a second. A sadden look on his face. He couldn't remain away from his realm for much longer, but he didn't wish to leave her or their child. However, Klaus had a right to spend time with his daughter and grandson. As they had one to spend time with Klaus. He gazed down at his beautiful wife, a delicate look on his face "You will visit me, in the Dreaming, will you not?"

"I did give you my word, love." Elizabeth smiled, eyes shining as she refered to the promise she'd made. A concerned frown crowned her face "If you ever need me, you just have to come or summon me. You know that, don't you?"

"Yes." Morpheus chuckled, smiling as his head nuzzled hers, he caressed her cheek before running his hand along her shoulder and down her arm, "Dearest, loveliest, beautifuliest Elizabeth," she blushed lightly, chuckling "-"

The sound of someone clearing their throated caused him to pause, he closed his mouth. The husband and wife slowly turned their heads, gazes landing on a curious looking hybrid. Morpheus' left hand grasped Elizabeth' right one, the instant their foreheads lost the other's touch. Klaus smiled lightly, admiring how graceful and beautiful their action was, he felt gulity for intruding on them.

"Where is Orpheus?" Morpheus inquired, seemingly sensed the mirroring frown on his wife's face, he gazed at the hybrid curiously.

"Currently hugging Kol, whilst my little brother smirks smugly at the rest of my troublesome siblings." Klaus rolled his eyes, before casting a concerned look between them "Is everything alright?" Morpheus turned his head, gazing at Elizabeth who nodded at her father, "I'm sorry," the hybrid let out "I never should have allowed Orpheus to blackmail me into letting him attend this horrid dinner."

"You couldn't have known." Elizabeth reasured, gazing at her father, she shook her head "It's not your fault."

"Yes. It's Elijah Mikaelson's fault." Morpheus rasped in agreement, giving the hybrid a long look before turning to his wife, who sensed his gaze, turning her head "I must go." Elizabeth smiled sadly, placing a kiss on his cheek, before resting her forehead against it, he closed his eyes in comfort. Klaus blinked, starstruck, the pair of them were so...he couldn't even find the right word - their actions were more than loving and beautiful.

The couple withdrew, taking a long look at one another as Morpheus brought out his pouch and disappeared in his sand. Elizabeth looked at her father a vulnerable look on her face. Klaus' brows furrowed in frown, before striding towards her and embracing his daughter.

Elizabeth was surprised. Very surprised to find her uncle Kol talking and laughing with her son, who was glued to his side. She blinked several times before sharing a look with Klaus, who looked just as surprised. The rest of her uncles and aunt were scrowling, glaring at their brother who was keeping Orpheus all to himself. Elizabeth smirked lightly, an amazing glint in her eyes, she rose her brows "You must be Kol, right?"

All of their heads shot up. Kol beamed and jumped up from his seat, bouncing towards her as Klaus rolled his eyes, crossing his arms over his chest, "My darling niece! Finally," he embraced her tightly, she chuckled, patting his back, he cupped her face, taking in every detail "It's Lizzie, right? Wait, no..."

"Elizabeth." She chuckled, smiling.

"Elizabeth." He repeated, his cheeks hurt but he didn't care, "Beautiful name, fit for my beautiful niece."

"Oh, that's enough." Rebekah huffed, earning a nod from her older brothers "You've known them for a matter of seconds. I've known them longer."

"Bekah. Were you not listening? They're mine." Kol scrowled at his sister, who accpeted a hug from Orpheus, "I have a lot to teach dearest Elizabeth and Orpheus, and time to catch up on."

Finn glared venomously, his arms crossed over his chest "We are all in the same boat, Kol."

Kol rolled his eyes, releasing his niece and placed his hands on his hips. Elizabeth frowned, blinking "Finn? You're...right." she trailed off, somehow it strangely made sense, Klaus had mentioned that one of his brother had been daggered a long time, and judging from his clothes he had been daggered for some time.

The younger siblings shared looks of confusion. Orpheus' jaw dropped, amazed. They'd been in contact with part of their family all along. Finn smiled at his niece and grandnephew lightly, bowing his head "Your majesty, or perhaps I should call you Elizabeth, afterall."

"Majesty?" Rebekah shrieked, looking at the brunette curious "You never said your husband is a king."

Elizabeth chuckled, smiling as Orpheus smirked at his aunt, informing them all smugly "Technically, he's more than a king, more than a god."

Kol blinked, his brows furrowed "Who is he?"

"Lord Morpheus." Elizabeth echoed her father's previous words, a fond glint in her eyes "Dream of the Endless. Oneiros. My husband has many names."

"The Endless?" Kol uttered, amazement on his face. His niece married to an Endless. "The Endless. Oh, bloody hell. This is wonderful!" He cried in bliss, he bounced on his heels before he realised ; his niece was married to Dream of the Endless, a being who was older than the gods and the universe themselves. He was the lord of dreams and reality. And his nephew was their son, a son who's existence was just as impossible as his mother's. Kol's jaw dropped, he blinked between Orpheus and Elizabeth, who both knew what he was picking up on, "That means our family is tied with Time and Night...who predate everybody. Oh..."

"Pretty much." Orpheus nodded, with a smile, he walked towards his uncle Kol "It's mind blowing isn't?"

Kol beamed, before throwing himself at Klaus - who went wide eyed, freezing on the spot as Kol hugged him, muttering a thousand thank yous a seconds. Orpheus and Elizabeth chuckled, the tribrid walked towards Finn, smiling at his confused expression "Thank you."

"For what?" He blinked.

"Being in the Dreaming." She smirked before rapping her arms around him, Finn blinked, tears pooling in his eyes before he hugged her back.

"Will someone get this nutter off me, please!" Klaus cried, causing everyone to look at him. Kol was clinging to him, pinning his arms down as he cried tears of joy on to his shoulder. The quatbrid and tribrid laughed as the three vampires smiled.
