As their eyes drowned in the others'. Like a thirsty man finally getting his hands on a cup of water. Morpheus took a cautious step forward, his gaze never straying from the vampress. Elizabeth observed him through hooded eyes, willing herself not to step away as he neared her.
She knew how unforgiving he was. And she'd called upon him anyway. The man - endless who hated her as much as the Salvatore brothers hated Katherine, hell perhaps even more. He halted in his movement, seeming to have sensed her weariness. He tore his gaze away from her, glancing around the stone tomb. He could feel the spell around them. He frowned, turning his gaze to hers "You're trapped in here. Is this why you called upon me?"
Elizabeth closed her eyes, flinching at his bitter tone. She pushed the emotion away, opening her eyes, a expressionless but stern look rested on her face "Forgive me, lord Morpheus. I should-"
"You misunderstand me," his face and tone softened, she was afarid he could see that "I thought after everything that happened, - after everything you said."
"After everything you said." Elizabeth fired back, doe orbs blazing. She inhaled tempestuously, squeezing her eyes shut, calming herself. Her eyelids lifted "I let my anger get the best of me, we both did." Morpheus took a long look, remaining silent, he knew she was right "The fates - the maiden impiled that you had been inprisoned."
"Like you." He uttered, teary eyes saddened.
Her gaze altered, shock and outrage revealed themselves on her face. Eyes wide, mouth gaping, she stared at him as if he were mad "Not like you!" She cried "My inprisonment is nothing compared to yours, Morpheus." Formality slipping, she cursed herself, sighing "I saw the cases of insomnia and hypersomnia, a hundred years, if I'm not mistaken."
"Yes." He sighed, he knew the thoughts runing through her mind before she did "I've already punished those responsible."
She gaped at him, rage burning in her veins. Her arms fell to her sides, feet moving - marching up to him "Let me kill them, then. I'll show them things worse than death." He stared down into those venagefull orbs, his heart swelled ; she still cared.
He closed the space between them, but kept a few inches away - not to scare her "It is done now, you don't have to that." He stared as her expression loosened, keeping his gaze with hers ''Who trapped you here?"
"Stefan Salvatore." She growled, before sighing, blinking as she glanced at the ground. Before focusing her gaze back on to his "I've tried getting myself out. I compelled his brother, to carry out a scheme I came up with. The outcome was not as I hoped. Being alone was fine, being confined with Stefan and mama-" she spat 'mama' "-is more than I can cope with."
"There's an ancestral lock on this tomb." He spoke, briefly glancing around before meeting her eyes "That's way you can't get yourself out."
She nodded "And I'm hardly in the position to motivate the said witch bitch to release me. Damon failed me. His friends are incapble. And I don't trust my latest carbon copy of mama, decsentant of mine." Her expression became pleadful "I don't trust any of them."
His tearful orbs bore into her glassy ones, he knew she was desprate but he was happy, that she'd reached out to him. Even if it was an act of her final resort.
"I know you can't interfere with the ancestral lock, but," she stared up at him, at his unblinking stare "could you...I don't know...inspire my descentant to let me go."
He blinked, brows drawing together, a determind glare forming on his face, taking a step forward. Making her raise her head slightly, to keep his gaze "I will do all that, and more."
She gaped, eyes racking over his face several times. Her heart swelled, warmth and relief rushed through her. He took a long look at her, before pulling out his pouch of sand. She watched as his sand consumed him. She exhaled a breath, a breath she didn't even realise she was holding. Relived tears threatened to leave her eyes. She inhaled, attempting to calm herself.

Elena sucked in oxygen deeply, gasping as she stared at Elijah with a brave face, despite the fact that her heart was hammering against her ribcage "What do you want?"
"It's time you and I had a little chat." Elijah stated.
Elena gulpped, continuing to breath heavily. Elijah stepped aside, allowing her to walk towards her room. She took hold of the door knob, she glanced over her should, looking at Elijah in the eye before opening the door. She took a few steps inside, keeping an eye on the original. Fearful that he'd change his mind. She turned her head, eyes widening, mouth dropping. Her heart practically jumpped out of her chest. She gasped.
Elijah halted behind, her, eyes locking on the same thing hers did. He closed the door with his foot, gaze never straying. His demeanor shifted, becoming defencive. He narrowed his eyes. Elena gulped, she recongised the raven haired man stood before her bedroom window. From her more favoured ancestor's drawing.
He stood emotionlessly, hands buried in his pockets, cold, determined but tearful orbs sent chills down her spine, and threatened the original. Elijah could feel the unimaginable power radiating of the deathly fair skined man. In a thousands years he'd never felt anything of the sort, exepct from when he lingered after his kills or anyone's kills.
"Morpheus." Elena whispered. Elijah glanced at the doppelganger, did she know this man? She swallowed "Eliza mentioned you."
"Then you know-" his voice - sounding like it had the weights of eons, holding it down in dephts of rage - cut through the air like knives "-that she is held captive in the tomb. Because of your lover."
"None of us wanted her there, only Katherine. Stefan wasn't thinking straight. He wouldn't listen. Please," she begged, in defense of her boyfriend as Elijah observed "-"
"Be quiet." Morpheus ordered, tone growing even more enraged as did his glare "You dare excuse Stefan Salvatore's childish behaviour, even with Katerina entombed. You dare to keep Elizabeth inprisoned." His tearful silver orbs blazed "Aware of the state of their relationship."
"I want Eliza out, as much as I want Stefan out of the tomb." Elena swore "I swear, but Bonnie needs help, she's not strong enough to get them out al-"
"Enough." Morpheus growled, stepping forward. The shadows seemed to swirl around him. Making him even paler, a white flare flashed over his eyes briefly "Damn your excuses, you will get Elizabeth out of the tomb. Or your friends will be condemned, and you along with them." Elena swallowed, shaking "Understand."
She nodded. Elijah tilted his head, they both observed as Morpheus disappeared within seconds. He'd lost any faith he had in gods or goddess, a long time ago. Coincidentally, it was a great shock that the Greek god of sleep was stood before him in the flesh mere seconds ago. Also, he had heard rumors of Katherine having a daughter, after she ran 500 hundred years ago. A very powerful daughter. A daughter who was a tribrid - a werewolf, witch and vampire. He had thought she was simply a myth. Yet, it appeared she was not.

Elizabeth sat on the stone bench, right at the end of the tomb. Staring aimlessly at the iron gates before her, listening to her mother and Stefan's conversation. Emotionlessly. Morpheus hadn't returned. She was worried and disappointed. Maybe he wouldn't return. After he motivated Elena, maybe he'd leave her as she had him.
Not that she'd blame him. What right did she have? Calling upon him after what happened. After what her mother had done. She supposed it was Katherine's fault, the domino that began the domino affect that led her to leave him.
"I've done terrible things, I know that." Eliza snorted, she doubted that, her mother didn't care about anyone but herself "But I do love you, Stefan."
Eliza sighed tearing her attention away, closing her eyes, resting her head back against the stone wall. Tears pooled in her orbs, she swallowed pushing those emotions away. A sound of stone made her eyes fly open, she listened for a second - stone scrapping against the floor. Her lip dropped - Morpheus.
She sped to the entrance, halting between her mother and Stefan. Her face fell, she allowed herself to hope and yet he hadn't returned. A brunette male stood before them. Her mother was gasping fearfully "Elijah."
"Good evening, Katerina." Elizabeth glanced at her mother, puzzled before setting her sights on Elijah, she furrowed her brows, how long had he known her mother, not many knew her by her true name, let alone actually call her by it "Thank you for having the good sense of being frightened."
Elijah turned his gaze to Elizabeth and Stefan "Your release has been requested." Elizabeth blinked, lower lip gaping slightly, relief hit her like a tidal wave - he'd done it.
"What..." Stefan stuttered.
"The lovely Elena drives a hard bargain." Elijah turned his gaze to Elizabeth, taking a long, analysing look at the Petrova tribrid. She beyond beautiful, and very regal like. However, her face, it didn't resemble her mother's. He knew the face that her face did "And the god of dreams, wasn't taking a 'no' for an answer."
Elizabeth blinked slowly, allowing the smile to take her lips. Elijah turned his attention to Stefan once more. Katherine glanced at her daughter, she had hoped her daughter's feelings for the god of sleep had died a long time ago. Yet, it seemed they hadn't, perhaps his hadn't either.
"I've had the spell lifted." Elijah said bring Elizabeth's attention back to the real world. She narrowed her eyes, brows furrowing. Stefan cautiously, made his way out before speding out of there. Katherine went to do the same, but Elijah blocked her path "As for you however, you shall not exit until I say so. Klaus will want to know exactly where you are."
Elijah glanced at Elizabeth, sharing a breif look as she crossed the fresh-hold. There was an certian eerieness about the Petrova. The way she moved. The way she held eye-contact.
"Elizabeth!" Katherine pleaded, causing her daughter to turn slowly, a chilling glare on her face "Please. Don't let him leave me in here."
Eliza glared at her mother with hallow eyes, with a bitter tone she remarked "Now why would I do that, mama?"
"Because, daughter fair," Katherine sneered lightly, begging her daughter's sympathy "I'm your mother. Please."
Elijah observed curiously, as Eliza gave her mother a stone cold glare, that even sent a chill down his spine "Let me make myself clear ; When Klaus arrives here. I will hand you over to him. Then you can rot in whatever hell he inflicks on you."
Katherine's gaze hardened, not protraying how that stung "You really are your father's daughter. More so than mine."
Elijah's head snapped towards the doppelganger, before looking back to her daughter "You keep telling me, so."
"He'll ruin you," Katherine sneered "Morpheus. No," she shook her head "He ruined you."
"No you ruined us," Elizabeth bellowed, angerily "It was all you. You ruined everything for us. And I swear ; you will pay for it." She sped away.
Elijah turned to Katherine, ignoring her glare "I believe it's time we dissused this latest discovery, I have made. Katerina."

Eliza halted in the woods, before him. Her gaze locked with his instantly "I-I don't know how to thank you."
"I'm sure you'll think of something, with time." Morpheus reasured "I can wait. I'm happy that you're free."
She smiled at him, making his heart swell, he hadn't seen that smile for some time. Yet, even after all this time, it still affected him as if it was yesterday. Her eyes shined, but lowered, her smile dropped. He blinked slowly, watching as she looked up again.
Her eyes burned, tearful. She dared to ask the question she been turning over and over in her mind, for centuries "Do you still hate me? For leaving you?" She swallowed slightly "For what happened?"
Morpheus stared at her, with his tearful orbs brokenly "No. I never hated you. I was angry, as you were. I don't blame you. Your mother however..."
"She will pay for it, I swear to you." The tribrid and endless gazed at the other, tears in their eyes, Elizabeth want to cradle his cheek in her hand, but forced herself not to "No matter how long it takes."
Morpheus looked at her, softly "I know." He blinked, racking his eyes over her face "Would you, visit me, in the Dreaming. Some time?"
Elizabeth smiled, eyes shining "I will."
Morpheus' lips twitched, the corners of his mouth tilted upwards slightly. Elizabeth beamed at the movement, she stepped forward, pressing her face against his, sideways. He closed his eyes, relishing in the feeling of her forehead against his cheek and her nose hooking under his jew.
Morpheus' felt his heart break emotionally as Elizabeth withdrew. He opened his eyes, they continued their stare "Goodbye, Dream."
Morpheus smiled, taking a long, attentive look at the Petrova tribrid, making sure to burn her imagine in his mind. He hoped, that now she'd dream, he longed to cross paths with her in his realm "Goodbye. Dearest, loveliest, Elizabeth."
Eliza beamed, burning the picture of him stood there. In front of her. With a smile on his small, pouting lips. Before she sped away.
