Athena was walking around Mirkwood forest,her bow ready as she shot down another spider which was coming her way,she fixed her hood as she heard wailing and crying from afar,curious she was so she walked to the source,the crying got louder and louder as she went nearer,she climbed up a tree and stood on a large branch,she looked down to see a you,a small child,you had your knees up and your face buried on your knees,Athena felt pity as she slowly climbed down,she went through bushes which startled you a bit,Athena crouched next to you and asked "what is wrong little one?" She asks as you looked up at her with teary eyes and a flushed face "S-Spiders..t-they..Mother and F-Father" you stuttered,Athena's eyes widened as she patted your back "Do not worry Tithen pen,i shall bring you to the king" Athena says as she scoops you up and you bury your face on her shoulder

You two were now in the Kingdom and infront of The king,Thranduil,Athena kneels and puts you down,you stood up straight as you squeezed her hand "Aran nîn" Athena says as Thranduil looked at you "Who is that?" He asked in Elvish as he pointed at you,you felt a little scared and intimidated by the Elven King as he descended from his throne,Athena stands up straight and looks at you "Aran nîn,i have found this child alone in the forest" she says as she pulls you close to her,Thranduil kneels to your level,he looked at you straight in the eye "Manke naa lle tuulo?" He asks you but you cocked your head to the side with a very confused and easily read expression,Thranduil sighs as he stands back to his full height "she/he is a Edain" The king says as Athena looked down at you "There are dwarves in the forest,you must go assist Legolas and Tauriel" he said as he walked back to his throne "What about Tithen pen?" Athena aksed as you look up at her "She will be safe,the maids can find her a room" Thranduil said as he yelled in Elvish to the maids which were walking around to bring you to a new room "That is not nessecary Aran nîn,she can stay with me" Athena said as she strokes your hair "Very well then,she shall stay in your room until your return with the dwarves" Thranduil says as Athena kneels to your level "Do not be afraid little one,i shall return after some time" she says as she smiles warmly at you,you squeez her hand again "Promise?" You ask and she chuckled "Promise,now go follow the maids and they shall lead you to my room,okay?" Athena says as she stands up,you nod and let go of her hand,she smiles for the last time before going with one blonde and a red headed elf,you look behind you to see a maid who was smiling at you "Come now,i will be the one who will lead you to Athena's room" she says giving you a hand,you look at her then at her outstretched hand,you heisitated for a moment but took her hand anyway

Athena,Tauriel,Legolas and the group of dwarves plus a hobbit,were walking in the path that lead to the Kingdom,while walking Legolas looked at her "Who was that child that you and Ada were talking to?" He asked in Elvish as Athena replied "i have found the Tithen pen here in the woods,crying and wailing due to the loss of her parents" Athena explained as Legolas nodded "I thought that was your child" Tauriel said as she and Legolas laughed,Athena blushed "N-no,i am not yet courted!" She says as she folded her arms "Of course you are not mellon nin,because if you were,we would be the first ones to know" Legolas said as Tauriel nodded "That is true Ernil nîn" Athena said as the dwarves whispered things to one another "What are they saying?" Bilbo asked "I have no idea lad" Bofur whispered back in response

The group were now in the Mirkwood Kingdom and infront of Thranduil,one maid ran up to Athena "Athena,the child!she is being yelled at by the other maids!" She said as she rubbed her hands "Mereth en draugrim!" Athenas said,loud enough for the maid,Legolas and Tauriel to hear,the three elves looked at her wide eyed as the maid followed Athena to her chambers,the closer they got to her chambers the clearer and louder the yelling could be heard

you were crying,your hands to your ears as the two maids were yelling at you,the door slammed open "MANI NAE LLE UMIEN?!" Athena yelled as the room became silent "A-Athena! We were just telling her to bathe but she wouldnt listen-" one of the maids tried lying "No!you have said enough to the little one!" Athena cut her off as she grabbed a arrow from her quiver and readied her bow"If you will not shut your mouth then i shall do it for you" Athena said as she pulled the string,aiming it at the maid's head,you gasped and looked at Athena with wide eyes,she noticed this,she gripped her bow tighter and sighed,Athena looked st the maid who told her about you and said something in elvish,the maid nodded an rushed out of the room,Athena kept her bow pointed at the maid's head "Athena,this is too much for the little one" Legolas said from behind as Athena lowered her bow and put the arrow back on its quiver "You are going to stay in the dungeons until your punishment will come" Legolas said in elvish and sternly to the maids as they gulped,Athena knew what the punishment was,it was either death or in the dungeons,you look around you,it is true,it was too much for you and you were confused,but since you were a child,you started to tear up,gaurds came in and took the two maids as the gaurds and Legolas left the room,Athena walked to you and kneeled infront of you "I am so sorry that you had to witness something like that" she whispers as she puts a hand on your shoulder,you flinched and backed away,pain could be easily seen in Athena's eyes as she looked down,you sniffled as you heard a door close,you open your eyes to see that Athena was not there and everything was silent except for your breathing,you walk to Athena's bed and saw small silver clothing on the bed,you look down at your clothes to see that it is dirty and ripped,you decided to change

"What is wrong mellon nin?" Cin asks as Athena walks to her,Tauriel and Legolas,she gave a small smile before frowning a bit "because of my actions at that Nadorhuan,the little one fears me" she said with a sad tone,Cin frowns and looks up at her friend "Do not worry Athena,she will soon understand" she says as Athena sighs "I hope so" she says

Fast footsteps could be heard and panting "The dwarves have escaped!" A tired gaurd informed as Legolas and Tauriel nodded "Okay,we shall go find them" Legolas said as he nodded at Tauriel and Athena,Cin left due to her duties again as Athena rushed going to her room

She slammed open the door "Little one? Child!" She went around her room searching for you,worry washed over her as she kept looking and saw that there were no signs of you,she stops looking and gritted her teeth "Tel' Mithrim"

You could've stayed in Mirkwood,sleeping peacefully in the bed of Athena

Instead,you were in a empty barrel of wine with Bilbo going down a river,you felt a little dizzy as the barrel swayed and made you go to the left or right,Bilbo noticed that you were dizzy and carried you to the top of the barrel "hold on tightly (Y/N)" Bilbo says as you nod and hold on the barrel

The company knew about you when they heard what the maid said back at the kingdom and took you with them,at first Thorin did not allow it since they were going on a quest filled with danger,and bringing a child would make it difficult but Blibo,Kili and Fili were able to convince him into bringing you,they walked to Athena's room and saw you in the clothes that one of the maids left,they asked your name and your age,your name was (Y/N) and you were 6,they asked about your family as tears formed in your eyes "Spiders" you squeaked out as Fili and Kili comforted you

You saw orcs on the ground near the river,you got scared and sunk low in the barrel,Bilbo hugged you protectively as he dodged axes and arrows from the orcs,more and more orcs came,making it a bit difficult for the company to fight,one orc was on a log which was used for crossing from the otherside of the great river to the other,you look into its fearful eyes as it grinned at you and readied in a crouching position,trying to get you,as you and Bilbo got closer and closer to the log the orc grinned wider as your head was near its filthy hands,you closed your eyes waiting to be taken until you heard a ear peircing screech,you look up to see a hooded person which stabbed the orc with a sharp sword,you look infront of you to see familiar faces but you didnt know theyre names,a red headed elf and a light blonde elf plus the hooded one which you were not sure of who it was,were fighting and helping the company fight off the orcs

After all of the orcs were gone and dead,you and the company landed safely on the side of the river,all tired from the bumpy journey,Bilbo helped you out of the barrel,your clothes were a little wet

you then saw the three who helped you talking to the leader of the company,Thorin Oakensheild,the one with the hood ran to you and hugged you "Oh Tithen pen!you are alright!" She says,you knew this voice,it was Athena,you hug her back "Y-You are not afraid of me (Y/N)?" She asks and you shake your head "I am not afraid of you,Mother!" You say then gasp at what you just said,you covered your mouth as Athena gasped as well and let go of the hug to look at you "Did you call me..." She trailed off "Yes she did lass" Dwalin said as Athena looked at him then back at you,she had tears in her eyes as she carried you and spun you around,you giggled as she laughed,she put you down gently as she grinned at you "does that mean..that your my mother?" You ask as you look down,she chuckled as she lifted your head with her hands "Of course i will be your mother,my dear child" she says,she was crying tears of joy,the comapny chuckled as Legolas and Tauriel approached the two of you and grinned

You and the whole company,including Tauriel,Legolas and Cin,continued the journey to reclaim Erebor and defeat Smaug

On the way,Athena and the group taught you how to fight,use weapons and speak Elvish and Dwarvish

"She is such a fast learner" Athena says proudly as she watched you train with Fili and Kili,Cin smiles at the three of you training "she is indeed"
