Land of Darkness...
Evernight Castle...

In the Land of Darkness, Grimm after Grimm were continuously spawning from the multiple black pools scattered across the land. From the castle perched on the cliff, known as the Evernight Castle, Emerald, Mercury and Jet watched through the window, with their eyes slightly wide from the sight before they turned around.

Cinder sat quietly at the large table while Mercury, Jet and Emerald moved next to her. Across from her, sat a man named Watts and next to him, Hazel. Around 3 seats apart from Cinder, sat a crazed man named Tyrian. The brown-haired female seemed to be... unwell in a manner. Her left arm was hidden behind an abnormally long sleeve on her dress and her left eye was hidden behind her bangs.

Watts: "Yes, yes. Keep your posse in check." With a slight growl, Mercury was attempting to approach the man, but Jet quickly stopped him by grabbing him by his shoulder. The silver-haired male glanced at him as he just shook his head. "You hear that? Silence."

(Arthur Watts)

Jet: "Don't you have anything better to do than run your mouth, Watts?"

Watts: "In fact, I do! But I also have half the mind to thank the little girl and the Wolf of the White Fang that bested our Fall Maiden." Tyrian began to let out a few unsettling snickering.

Tyrian: "If I were you, I'd hunt them down, find them and, well, they took your eye and arm, didn't they?" He began to laugh as Cinder watched in anguish.

(Tyrian Callows)

Cinder attempted to speak, however she only managed to let out quiet exhaling noises that sounded like she was straining herself to even speak. So, she gestured for Emerald, who began to lean over so that she could whisper into her ear.

Watts: "Pathetic. Why did you even-"

Cutting him off was the sound of a heavy metal door being unlatched. The doors opened and everyone in the room sat in attention, besides Seraphim as a albino lady with white hair, and red eyes with her sclera a pitch black walked in; This person was none other than Salem, the same woman that Akito saw during the tournament when he was fighting against Yang that caused him to lose the match. She stopped at the head of the table, facing away from her subordinates.

(Salem)

Salem: "Watts." the former Atlesian straightened up, looking at her. Salem turned to face him. "Do you find such malignance necessary?" She gestured for all of them to sit down, which they all complied with instantly, minus Mercury, Emerald and Jet since they were Cinder's subordinates.

Watts: "I apologize ma'am. I'm not particularly fond of failure." She sat down at the head of the table.

Salem: "Then I see no reason for your cruelty towards young Cinder. She's become our Fall Maiden, destroyed Beacon Tower and most importantly, killed dear Ozpin. So I'm curious, to what failures are you referring to?"

Watts: "Well, the girl with the Silver Eyes."

Hazel: "Yes. We've dealt with their kind before. How is it that a novice was able to best one of us?"

(Hazel Rainart)

Watts: "My thoughts exactly. Even without the Maiden power, it should have been effortless, especially since she managed to best the Wolf of the White Fang in battle."

Salem: "It is because of the Maiden's power. Make no mistake, Cinder, you hold the key to our victory. But your newfound strength brings with it a crippling weakness -- which is why you will remain by my side as we continue your treatment." Cinder looked down with frustration while gritting her teeth. Salem then looked towards Watts.

Salem: "Dr. Watts, you are to take Cinder's place and meet with our informant in Mistral."

Watts: "Very good." He nodded. She then turned to Tyrian.

Salem: "Tyrian, I want you to continue your hunt for the Spring Maiden." She assigned, to which the deranged male began to laugh.

Tyrian: "Gladly."

Salem: "Hazel, I'm sending you to the leader of the White Fang. Adam Taurus has arranged the meeting. The boy continues to prove loyal. Ensure that Sienna Khan feels the same."

Hazel: "As you wish." Suddenly, Cinder raised a finger before attempting to talk, but soon gave up and turned to Emerald.

Emerald: "Oh!" She leaned over slightly towards the Fall Maiden who began to let out raspy whispers into her ear. Emerald stood back up straight.

Salem: "Speak, child."

Emerald: "She wants to know... What about the girl?" At this, Watts scoffed.

Watts: "What about her? Seems to me that is Cinder's problem, not ours." Cinder slammed her fist on the table while glaring at Watts, who merely grinned at her.

Salem: "That's enough. Tyrian?"

Tyrian: "Yes, my lady?"

Salem: "Spring and wait. Find the girl that did this to Cinder." Tyrian began to giggle in glee. "Bring the girl to me." That instantly caused the man to frown as he was hoping to shed the girl's blood but soon complied with a mere shrug. The head woman then unturned to address everyone present.

Salem: "Because of your efforts, Beacon has Fallen. And Haven will be next."

Everyone stood up, ready for their next mission as Tyrian snickered at Cinder.

Tyrian: "Eye for an eye~." He taunted before suddenly going into an uncontrollable fit of maniacal laughter, much to Cinder's annoyance.

>Chapter 31: Team RNJR<

In the continent of Anima, Ren and Nora were currently having a debate while approaching Jaune and Setsuna, who both were waiting, as if looking out for something. Meanwhile, Ruby was nowhere to be found.

Nora: "I'm just saying, there's more members of JNPR in the team than RWBY. It just makes sense to go with THAT one."

Ren: "But Junior isn't a color."

Nora: "Neither is WOLF!" She groaned in annoyance. "Ugh, how can I be more CLEAR?" She held out her hand, causing the letters JNRR (Junior) to appear in her palm. "One... two... three! That's more than one."

Ren: "But we're helping Ruby with her objective." He held out his hand, spelling out the name, RNJR (Ranger). "Wouldn't that make her the leader?"

Jaune: "Guys. We need to focus." There was a brief silence before. "Also, JNRR sounds way cooler."

Nora: "EXACTLY!"

Ren just sighed as Setsuna facepalmed. However, the ground suddenly began to shake as loud, heavy footsteps were heard, fast approaching the group. Jaune narrowed his eyes.

Jaune: "It's here..."

From the forest, Ruby flew out of the trees with her Petal Burst, all the while shooting at something behind her. Bursting through the large amounts of trees was a massive rock golem Grimm, known as a Petra Gigas. Ruby and the Grimm fell directly off the cliff, with the female falling through trees and hitting each branch down the way.

Ruby: "Bad...! Landing...! Strategy!" She finally landed on her feet, with a quick sigh. However, she quickly gasped and zipped out of the tree as the Petra Gigas attempted to attack her. JNR and Setsuna stood side by side.

Jaune: "Let's get that thing off her!" As he ran off towards the left, Ren and Setsuna quickly jumped into a tree.

Nora: "Don't forget me! WHOOOOO!!!" She yelped as she launched herself up, using Magnhild to shoot off a grenade underneath herself, almost using it to do a rocket-jump. She landed in the tree next to the two.

Ren: "We need to draw its attention away from Ruby!"

Ruby: "Could use some help!" She yelled as she blitzed past them, towards the Petra Gigas.

With her grenade launcher in hand, Nora began to fire off grenades to gain its attention as Ren hopped from tree to tree, shooting it with his Stormflower. As for Setsuna, she looked around, wondering what to do due to her not having any form of weapon but she noticed a few larger rocks nearby. Quickly, Setsuna jumped out of the tree and dashed to one of the large rocks before using her impressive strength to pick it up and chuck it at the Petra Gigas, striking its body and causing it to stumble back. It stared directly at her, causing her to yelp before quickly making a dash away. Before it could give chase however, Ren leaped at it and ran along its outstretched arm before leaping high into the air and attempting to slash at it, but the Petra Gigas blocked with its arm.

Jaune: "We gotta get in closer!"

Ren: "My Blades don't hurt him!" he exclaimed as the Petra Gigas turned to look at them.

Nora: "Crap!"

Ruby: "How about THIS!?" Pulling out a new magazine for her Crescent Rose with Lightning Dust rounds, Ruby quickly loaded it. She then fired which hit the Petra Gigas' arm, ultimately doing nothing but aggravating it more and causing it to punch the ground, sending everyone flying back. Nora and Ren caught each other, Ruby stabbed Crescent Rose into the ground to slow herself down, and caught Setsuna's arm, preventing her from flying back further. As for Jaune however, well he went flying and began tumbling before landing, crotch first into a rock, causing his eyes to nearly pop out of his head as his voice went full squeaky.

Jaune: "'YoU'Ll bE fINe WiThoUt A weAPon, yOU'rE tHe STrATeGisT...'" He said in a mocking tone while Setsuna just kinda rubbed the back of her head, considering that she too didn't have a weapon but was doing fine for the most part.

Setsuna: "Ahaha..."

Nora: "That's IT!"

Now enraged, Nora ran at the Grimm, throwing her Magnhild into the air as it transformed into its hammer mode and caught it before slamming it into the Petra Giga's right arm, completely breaking it and sending more rocks flying, one of which hit Jaune in his face just as he had gotten up. Another rock, this time went flying towards Nora, but Ruby quickly dashed in front of her and slashed it apart with Crescent Rose. The one-armed Gigas tried to stomp them, but they all quickly began to scatter to avoid it. All of a sudden, a strange red Glyph appeared where the missing arm was, and a Grimm arm popped out.

Jaune: "Uh oh..." It soon attacked a large tree to its body, with it becoming its new arm. It began to chase Jaune, swiping at him with it. "His arm is a tree! HIS ARM IS A TREE!"

Ruby: "Big Mistake!"

Ruby then loaded her Fire Dust Rounds into Crescent and fired at the tree arm, setting it ablaze. Jaune celebrated a bit too early though as the tree arm turned out to be intact, just fully coated in flames now. It began to chase Jaune again, while swinging its now flaming arm.

Jaune: "BIG MISTAKE!" As the Petra Gigas was getting closer to Jaune however, Setsuna suddenly leaped out of the tree, with her Semblance activated briefly as she managed to land a single punch right on the Grimm's face, causing it to stagger and tumble over. Quickly, she regrouped with the others. "Okay, how do we do this?"

Ren: "His body is too thick to break through."

Jaune: "It doesn't care about its body..."

Nora: "Plus, it can keep adding new limbs!"

Jaune: "But it's protecting its face...

Ruby: "We can't break it!

Jaune: "If we knocked all its limbs off at once then went for the..." He suddenly gasped as an idea came to his mind. "Guys! I got it! We hit it... harder!"

Setsuna: "Umm..." She tilted her head, confused but then remembered that when she had managed to strike its face, it staggered it.

Ren: "Is... that is?"

Jaune: "No, seriously! It's trying to keep us from its face! If we kill the limbs, we'll have a shot to kill the whole thing!"

Ruby: "Alright. Come on team! Let's do this!"

Nora: "Yeah!"

Ren: "Right!" Setsuna nodded towards him, while punching her fists together, slightly imitating Yang's signature motion, something that Ruby noticed.

Jaune: Ren, left!" The male quickly leaped to the left. "Ruby, right!" She quickly leaped up to the right. "Nora... ready to try out the new upgrade?" Nora grinned and nodded as she began to back away. "Right! As for you and me, Setsuna, we..."

Setsuna: "Incoming!!" They both yelped and jumped out of the way of the Petra Gigas' attack. The giant golem continued to chase the two as they ran away, drawing its attention to be solely on them.

Ruby quickly sped in, swinging at its Tree Arm with Crescent Rose before backing away just before it could hit her, all the while Ren was constantly hopping from Tree to Tree, shooting at it with Stormflower. As it was distracted by the two, Nora stood her ground and began to charge up Lightning Dust in her weapons head.

Jaune: "Let's focus on distracting that thing!"

Setsuna: "Right!" She nodded as she picked up another large rock and tossed it at the Petra Gigas, striking its back and causing it to turn and look towards her. "Over here!" She taunted. The hulking behemoth began to chase after her, only to hear Jaune's voice.

Jaune: "Hey, hey! Over here!"

It instantly turned around and began to chase after Jaune, throwing a punch down at him, to which he quickly rolled out of the way. Just then, Ren leaped over and landed on its left shoulder and was rapidly shooting bullets at its face before being shrugged off only for Ruby to come swooping in and swinging at it, but it quickly lifted its rock arm and blocked each strike, keeping her away from its face. It tried to counter with a swing of its flaming tree arm, but Ruby blitzed out of the way and began to fill it with many bullets from Crescent Rose. Just as it threw another punch at her, Ruby quickly Petal Bursted into the air, remaining suspended for a while before blasting herself down with Crescent Rose's recoil and striking the Petra Gigas. Just then, Nora felt her charge become complete.

Nora: "Ready!" Ruby landed on the ground next to Setsuna, who was quite a way behind Nora and looked towards Jaune.

Jaune: "Use everything you've got!"

Ruby quickly turned to Setsuna and smirked while nodding. The Arctic Wolf nodded back before performing a similar technique. She grabbed the argent-eyed girl by the arm and activated her Primal Fury before rapidly spinning around, becoming a blur of red, black and white. With a roar, Setsuna threw Ruby towards Nora with all her might, creating a sonic boom as the scythe wielder activated her Petal Burst and picked up Nora along the way, transforming her into a swirl of Pink Petals, charging towards the Petra Gigas. The massive golem tried to shield itself by crossing its arms, but it was futile as Nora struck it. Thanks to her absorbing the lightning from her weapon due to her Semblance, High Voltage, she broke right through its defenses, breaking the Petra Gigas completely apart. Bursting from the largest piece of the dismembered Gigas, the Grimm, known as a Geist, flew out and quickly began to retreat into the forest.

Ruby shared a smirk with Nora and Setsuna before taking aim and firing a Bullet, which collided with the Geist, taking it out for good. Jaune stumbled over while panting.

Jaune: "Another victory for Team JNRR!" He placed his hands on his hips, looking proud but soon sweat dropped as he realized how the name sounded. "Alright, y'know, okay... Ren, I think you're onto something... It... It... It's just not sounding great anymore."

Setsuna sighed and deadpanned but soon began to let out a few giggles. Ruby held up a high-five to the Arctic Wolf, who instantly returned it, their clap echoing through the forest.

>>Time Skip<<

The group of five had returned to the Village where they had accepted the bounty for the Geist Grimm. They all stood in front of the village mayor, who was eternally grateful for their hard work.

Mayor: "We truly can't thank you enough."

Ruby: "Just doing our job, sir!"

Mayor: "That Geist had been plaguing our village for weeks. We were beginning to wonder if we'd have to relocate."

Ruby: "Well, we are on our way to Mistral... You could always come along with us if you don't feel safe." The man chuckled at her invitation.

Mayor: "I take it you're not from these parts. Anima is a large continent... I'm afraid our people would never survive the long trek to Mistral. It may be safer in the Kingdoms, but we prefer our way of life. I just wish we could pay you more."

Ren: "Our previous arrangement is more than sufficient."

They all did a gentle respectful bow the mayor before turning around and leaving. As they were walking through the village, Ruby leaned towards Setsuna and whispered into her ear.

Ruby: "Is this how you and Akito would do bounty hunting back when you two lived in Mistral for a while?" The white-haired female smiled and slightly laughed.

Setsuna: "Yeah... Though it wasn't this eventful."

Soon, they made their way to a blacksmith, where not only Jaune, but Setsuna would be getting some upgrades. The blacksmith, who was a Faunus with horns, came out from the back of the shop and put down an upgraded chest plate on the counter.

Blacksmith: "There you go son! It's gonna be heavier than you're used to but you'll thank me the next time you go up against a set of claws."

Jaune: "Wow... I... I don't know what to say..."

Blacksmith: "Don't gotta say anything! Just put it on! I'll go get the rest." Then he looked at Setsuna with a smile. "And I've completed your order too, dear." He said while making a finger gun motion before making his way to the back of the shop.

Nora: "So... what are you waiting for?"

Jaune: "Oh! Uh... right!" He quickly went over to the chest armor before taking off his old, scuffed up one. "Guess I was going to grow out of it eventually..."

Ren: "A sign of progress."

Jaune: "Progress." He turned around to face them, revealing what was under that chest armor. Ruby immediately noticed and was trying her hardest not to laugh, while Setsuna was surprised but began to giggle lightly while covering her mouth. "Huh? What is it??"

Ruby: "What is THAT!?" she asked, pointing at the Cute Bunny Rabbit on Jaune's hoodie.

Jaune: "What? My hoodie? I've always had this." Ruby and Setsuna looked at each other, yet again trying to hold in their laughter but failed miserably as they both yelled together, all the while going cross-eyed

Ruby and Setsuna: "IT HAS A CUTE LITTLE BUNNY RABBIT!" They both instantly fell into a fit of giggles, while holding onto their stomachs as Jaune tried to defend himself

Jaune: "It's Pumpkin Pete! You know, from the cereal!?" That just caused the two to start laughing harder.

Ruby: "What did you do!? Send in box tops for a prize!?"

Jaune: "Yeah! Fifty!"

That unfortunately, did it as Ruby and Setsuna both burst out in adorable laughter, their heads growing comically large, causing Jaune to slouch his shoulders while looking completely defeated.

(A/N: "Her laugh is so contagious. I love it.")

Eventually, the laughter died down and followed by the two girls falling over onto their backs.

Ren: "Well I suppose we don't have to grow out of everything." More snickers followed by light giggles came from Ruby and Setsuna as they both stuck their feet up. Soon however, the blacksmith came back in, causing Setsuna to instantly jump back onto her feet and dust herself off.

Blacksmith: "Can't have a Huntsman without their weapons!" He first turned towards Setsuna and stabbed two long blades down into the counter. "When you told me the idea you had for those two swords, followed by a singular gauntlet, I knew it was going to be quite the hassle due to their dramatic differences in length but it turned out quite well! Don't you think? Plus, the ranged gauntlet is also ready!"

Setsuna: "A-Ah... Thank you. And sorry for the trouble." She bowed politely though the man laughed.

Blacksmith: "Don't apologize! It was a fun project. I hope they live up to your expectations." The Arctic-Wolf Faunus brightened up a bit as she looked at her new Weapons. Ruby walked up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder while smiling. The Blacksmith then looked towards Jaune as he stabbed the upgraded Cores Mors into the counter. "Made all the modifications you asked for. That was some fine metal you brought me. Accents the white nicely. Where'd you get it?"

Jaune's weapons were upgraded with familiar golden trimming, along with his shield having the crest of Pyrrha embedded into it. Everyone walked up and stared at the work of art with somber expressions.

Jaune: "From a friend."

Ruby, Ren and Nora were waiting outside as Jaune and Setsuna were getting their new gear ready. Soon, the door opened as they both came outside. Jaune's new Armor was upgraded with the golden trim from Pyrrha, just like his weapon. He also wore a singular red sash on his hip that was also from the red-haired spartan.

As for Setsuna, her two blades were upgraded from the GN Long and Short Blades, turning them into symmetrical long blades that were lighter than the originals, but longer and of the same length. As got that gauntlet she was given, it was a small, fingerless mechanical gauntlet, with a small machine gun attached to it, allowing her to have some minor range capabilities. This small arm-mounted submachine gun had the same fire rate and same power as Ren's Stormflower, so it would most likely be used only for distraction and enemy suppression and not for actual damage.

Blacksmith: "They clean up alright, don't you think?"

Ren: "They certainly do."

Nora: "I still think a grenade launcher would've REALLY brought the looks together."

Ruby: "Nothing's gonna stop Team RNJR and Setsuna now!"

Nora: "Team JNRR!"

Ren: "Still not a color..."

Jaune: "It doesn't matter what we're called.... As long as we're together." He said as Setsuna smiled and nodded in agreement as she attacked her two swords together and sheathed them on her right hip while the barrel on her gauntlet retracted.

Blacksmith: "You sure you kids won't stick around? You've been real good to this town."

Ruby: "Sorry, but we've got another mission."

Nora: "Make it to Haven Academy, no matter what!"

Ren: "We've heard the next village over has a working airship."

Blacksmith: "Hmm... No way to know for sure... Scroll signals were bad enough out here when Beacon Tower was still up; haven't heard from Shion Village in a while."

Ruby: "Well, there's only one way to find out!" They all waved to him as they turned around and began to leave.

Setsuna: "Thank you again for all your help!" She called out, to which the man chuckled and waved with a warm smile. With that out of the way, they were back on the road towards the Kingdom of Mistral.

Jaune: "Food?"

Nora: "Check!"

Jaune: "Water?"

Nora: "Check!"

Jaune: "How about ammo?"

Nora: "Locked and loaded, thank you Schnee Dust Company!"

Upon mentioning the name of the aforementioned company, Ruby had looked down with a bit of a saddened expression but quickly shook it off. When she looked towards Setsuna however, the white-haired Faunus was silent, all the while looking at her Scroll that had a picture of not only her and Akito, but Blake, Mio, Adam and the Four-Maiden sisters, Spring, Autumn, Summer and Winter. The argent-eyed girl gently placed a supporting hand on Setsuna's shoulder, causing her to look at her. She gave a sad smile to her.

Ruby: "I miss the others too."

Setsuna: "Mm..." She nodded but smiled slightly but then Ruby suddenly had a question pop up in her head.

Ruby: "What are you going to name them?" That question confused the Faunus as she tilted her head. "Your swords. You can't really call them 'GN Long and Short Blades' again." Setsuna blinked before she hummed and stroked her cheek as she began to think for a moment. But then, she figured it out and unsheathed one of her new blades, while looking at its brand new and unique design.

Setsuna: "...'Arondight'."

Ruby: "Ooh, I like it!" She gave a thumbs up of approval, along with a big grin on her face. The Faunus slightly laughed before suddenly, they heard the small commotion that was happening in the front with the others.

Jaune: "Got the map?"

Nora: "Ren's got it."

Ren: "No, I don't. You have it."

Nora: "Wait what? You sure? No, Setsuna has it!"

Setsuna: "Nope. Setsuna does not have it." She answered while shaking her head in a clueless manner. That answer caused both Nora and Jaune to start sweating rapidly.

Nora: "Uh..."

Jaune: "Guys, please tell me you're joking..."

Nora: "Uh... Heh... heh... heh..."

Jaune: "Guys! Guys!? Guys..."

Nora: "...Nope!"

>>Time Skip to next day<<

The next day, the group of five continued down the path with Ruby in the lead, with the map in her hand.

Ruby: "So, the next town is... uh... huh... uh huh..." She sighed and slouched back a bit. "We're lost."

Setsuna: "Umm... Ruby?" The argent eyed girl looked towards her, to see that she was pointing towards the map. "Is the map... upside down?" Ruby slightly froze, her legs carrying her frozen as she slowly looked back towards the map. She quickly began to laugh out of embarrassment as she quickly flipped the map around.

Ruby: "A-Ahaha... You know, it helps to have the map be right-side up!" She said, with her nervous laughter while Setsuna deadpanned at her

Jaune: "The next town is Shion." He said, taking the attention off of Ruby. "My family used to visit it all the time."

Ruby: "Don't you have... like four sisters including Maya?"

Jaune: "Uh, seven."

Nora: "You know, that actually explains a lot."

Jaune: "Wait, what do you mean?".

Ruby: "What did you guys do there?"

Jaune: "Oh, all sorts of stuff!" He walked up next to Ruby and pointed to a spot on the map. "Over here is a great hiking trail, and over there is where we went camping all the time. I got my own tent because I was special. Also, so my sisters, ESPECIALLY Maya, would stop braiding my hair."

Ruby: "Didn't like the look?"

Jaune: "Yeah, she just kept doing pigtails, but personally I think I'm more of a warrior's wolf-tail kind of guy." At this moment, Ren, Nora and Setsuna began to slow down as their eyes widened, upon spotting something in front of them.

Ruby: "That's just a ponytail."

Jaune: "I stand by what I said."

Nora: "Uh... guys?"

Jaune: "What?"

Jaune and Ruby looked up from the map, only to see the same thing the others were witnessing, which was a Village in complete ruins. This was in fact the next Village they were planning to stay at. Jaune quickly rolled up the map and put it away as we all dashed towards the ruins of the town.

Jaune: "There could be survivors!"

Ren: "Over here!" Everyone rushed over to Ren's location, only to see a bleeding, barely conscious Huntsman.

Ruby: "A Huntsman!"

Jaune: "What happened? Who killed all the people?"

Huntsman: "...Bandits... The whole tribe... Then, with all the panic..." He fell into a coughing fit as Setsuna walked up to him, crouching next to him, with her ears flattening

Setsuna: "Grimm... right?" The injured Huntsman gave a weak nod. As Ren walked up to the Faunus female, Jaune, Ruby and Nora huddled up and began to discuss a plan

Ruby: "We can get him to the next village and try to find a doctor there!"

Jaune: "Yeah. Ren and I can take turns carrying him there."

Nora: "I don't know if he'll make it."

Jaune: "He will. He has to." Setsuna silently widened her eyes before looking away as she noticed that the Huntsman had gone limp and stopped breathing.

Ruby: "If we get going now, our chances will be better. I can move up ahead and look for help!"

Ren: "Guys..." The others looked at them, only to see the now dead Huntsman, with Setsuna just looking away. They all slowly approached him somberly.

Nora: "Should we... bury him?"

Ren: "We should go. It's not safe here." he replied, walking past the group, towards the exit of the village.

Nora: "Ren..." her voice showed concern before she began to follow, leaving Ruby, Setsuna and Jaune. The two girls shared a look and looked at the blonde male, who seemed to be taking this the hardest.

Ruby: "It'll be okay." She said, putting a supporting hand on his arm. The male just sighed deeply.

Jaune: "I'm just tired of losing everything..." He said before he began to walk forwards after their teammates. Ruby downcasted and slowly began to follow, with Setsuna following behind shortly after with a small mumble.

Setsuna: "... Me too..."
