As Ruby entered the amphitheater of Beacon Academy, she spotted her teammates and Team WOLF who were standing in front of Team JNPR. With the backpack, she walked over to them and set it down gently next to other bags. She stood in line next to her teammates as Glynda took the stage.

Glynda: "Quiet! Quiet please. Professor Ozpin would like to share a few words before we begin."  As the first year students silenced their voices, the gray-haired man appeared on the stage, his cane in hand.

Ozpin: "Today we stand together, united. Mistral. Atlas. Vacuo. Vale. The four Kingdoms of Remnant. On this day, nearly eighty years ago, the largest war in recorded history nearly came to an end. It was a war of ignorance, greed, and of oppression. A war that was about much more than where borders fell or who traded with whom, but about the very idea of individualism itself. We fought for countless reasons, one of which being the destruction of all forms of art and self-expression. And as you are well aware, that was something many could not stand for. As a result, those who opposed this tyranny began naming their children after one of the core aspects of art itself: color. It was their way to demonstrate that one only would they refuse to tolerate this oppression, but neither were the generations to come. And it was a trend that it held to this very day. We encountered individuality, expressionism and unity through diversity. As I have said, today we stand together, united. But this bond cannot exist without effort. This is why today, while the rest of the world celebrates peace, Huntsmen and Huntresses will work to uphold it. As first-year students, you will be tasked with shadowing a professional Huntsman or Huntress on a mission. Some of you may be taken out of the Kingdom for several days. Others may work within the walls for the rest of the week. But no matter which path you choose, remember to be safe, remember your training, and remember to do your very best."

Applause filled the amphitheater as Ozpin stepped away. All the students began to file out as Team RWBY and WOLF looked at each other.

Autumn: *yawn* "Old guy really knows how to do long ass speeches..."

Spring: *karate chops Autumn* "Language!"

Autumn: "Oof! Why you little-!!"

Summer and Winter: "Girls..."  Hearing them caused Akito to sigh and shake his head before looking back at the girls before him.

Ruby: "This is perfect! All we have to do is shadow a Huntsman working in the southeast!"

Yang: "Yeah! We'll follow them around by day and give them the slip by night."

Akito: "Well then Setsuna and I will try to choose a mission somewhat close to you guys. Hopefully, we'll be able to continue from there on."  The girls nodded at him.

Weiss: "Let's check search and destroy."  They approached a holographic mission board.

Ruby: "Here we go! Quadrant 5 needs Grimm cleared out!"

Blake: "Well, it's in the southeast!"

Yang: "Sounds perfect!"  Ruby reached up and typed her teams name into it, only for it to be immediately rejected, showing a message that said the mission was unavailable for first year students.

Akito:" How rich..."

Blake: "Any other ideas?"

Ruby: "We mail ourselves there!"

Setsuna: "Setsuna doesn't think that's possible..."

Yang: "I mean, Zwei did it."  She said as the Arctic Wolf sweat dropped a bit, backing away from the blonde as she really did NOT want to resort to such a ridiculous method...

Ozpin: "Well, that's one option..."  They all turned around to see Ozpin approaching them. "Unfortunately we determined that the concentration of Grimm was too extreme for first year students. It seems that particular region is rather popular. In fact, I have the sneaking suspicion that all of you will make your way there, no matter which job you choose."

All judgmental eyes landed on Ruby who scratched the back of her head with a nervous and innocent smile.

Ruby: "Whatever makes you say that?"

Ozpin: "I'm still curious how you all found yourselves at the docks last semester. I'm interested to know how you really learned about a hideout in the southeast. And I certainly wonder why witnesses reported seeing robot and rose petals in a dance club some time ago."

Ruby: "Um... well..."  The old man then slyly smiled.

Ozpin: "I doubt I'll ever find the exact answers I'm looking for. So how about this... Instead of waiting for you to break the rules, why don't we just bend them?"

Ozpin pressed a few buttons on his scroll which made the mission board beep and caused for Team WOLF's name to appear alongside Team RWBY's while assigning them to that mission. The six first years looked stunned.

Setsuna: "You're assigning us to their mission too? You can do that??"

Ozpin: "I am the Headmaster of this school after all, Setsuna. And besides, I think you will all agree with me when I say that Teams RWBY and WOLF are essentially a single team now."  The unified teams shared a glance, smiles forming on their faces though as Akito and Blake shared glances, they both blushed slightly and quickly averted their gazes.

Ruby: "We won't let you down. Thank you Professor."

Ozpin: "Do not thank me for this. Teamwork and persistence have carried you far. But you must understand, the things that await you beyond the protection of the Kingdom will not care. Stay close to your Huntsman at all times, and do exactly as he says. He will be leading you on this mission, and he can have you sent back to Beacon if he finds your skills to be unsatisfactory."

With that, he turned and left. As the six exited the amphitheater, Yang broke the silence.

Yang: "Well that isn't exactly uplifting."

Blake: "Well, what he said was the truth."

Ruby: "It's gonna be tough, but I know we can do it!"

Akito: "That's the spirit. Now, where's—"  He was cut off by a random student running past him.

Student: "Hey! Team CFVY's back!"

Setsuna: "Team... CFVY...?" 

As the all looked over, the spotted the Team in question; Team CFVY, which was consisted of Coco Adel, Fox Alistair, Velvet Scarlatina, Yatsuhashi Daichi and the newest member to their team that officially made Team CFVY the first five-man team, Yakumo Daigo.

The team of five were making their way towards the academy, their heads slightly hung low as they seemed to have gloomy expressions on their faces.

Setsuna: "Velvet! Yakumo!"  The two in question paused, looking towards the approaching teams.

Yakumo: "Oh, hey guys."  He greeted them, though his voice sounded a bit deflated.

Blake: "Are you two okay?"

Velvet: "W-We're fine. I had Yaku and Yatsuhashi to look out for me."  The large male nodded towards them as he walked past them.

Weiss: "Your mission was supposed to end a week ago! What happened?"

Velvet: "Nothing happened... It was just... there were so many..."  The first years looked at her in concern as she released a heavy and saddened sigh, her bunny ears flopping forwards slightly. However, Yakumo wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

Yakumo: "Hey, we did the best we could... In the situation we were in, our chances of success and survival was low."

Velvet: "I know but... I promised them I'd save them..."  She muttered quietly, tears threatening to fall from her eyes. Yakumo watched her and took a deep breath before he whispered into her ear.

Yakumo: "Hey, we're gonna be free for today. How about I take you out later today?"  He offered, which caused her face to brighten up slightly as she gave a small smile.

Velvet: "Sure." 

She said before she slowly looked at him before... she leaned towards him and gently kissed the male on the lips before there was a *ahem* from the first years that were in front of them. Immediately, Velvet blushed out of embarrassment and quickly ended the kiss.

Ruby: "Soooo! What was that about?"  Velvet blushed more before slightly stuttering on her words.

Velvet: "O-Oh, well... Yaku and I are.. d-dating."  She said with a slightly embarrassed smile while he leaned against him.

RWBY, Setsuna, Spring and Autumn: "EHH!?"

Winter: "Oh. My. OUM!!"

Summer: "I ship it!!!"

Akito: "Oh? Heh... Seems like you caught yourself a little Bunny, man."  He lightly punched Yakumo's shoulder as he slightly chuckled while Velvet's blush slightly worsened.

Yakumo: "Ha... Yeah, you could say that."  He said before shaking his head.  "But aside from that, you guys shouldn't worry about us. Our mission didn't go as smoothly as we wanted it to, but that shouldn't bring down your guys' hopes."

Velvet: "That's right! You first years are just shadowing Huntsmen, so you should be fine."

Yang: "Right..."  Before the conversation could continue, the two second-years heard the distance call of Coco calling them over.

Yakumo: "Seems like that's our cue."

Velvet: "Good luck on your first mission."  The two then excused themselves, walking back to their team.

Ruby: "We can do this. We've never backed down before and we're not going to start now."

Blake: "Right."

Ruby: "And we'll be fighting alongside a genuine Huntsman!"

Yang: "Yeah!"

Setsuna: "This'll be a piece of cake!"

Then...... they saw him. The Huntsman that they were paired with. It was no other than...

Oobleck: "Why hello people! Who's ready to fight for their lives!?"  All six first-years stared at him with either dead-eyes or disappointed looks. Akito' whose arms were crossed released a deep sigh as he leaned towards Setsuna.

Akito: "You were saying?"

>Chapter 16: Search and Destroy<

Weiss: "Professor... Oobleck?"

Oobleck: "Yes, I'm afraid those bags won't be necessary, seeing as you've opted to shadow a Huntsman on what is now essentially a reconnaissance mission. I can assure you, we will not be establishing a single base of operations, rather, we will be traversing several miles of hazardous wasteland and making camp in any defendable locations we may stumble upon. I packed all of our essentials myself, plotted our air course and readied the airship."  He appeared directly in front of Weiss' face, causing her to take a step back.  "And... It's DOCTOR Oobleck. I didn't earn the PhD for fun, thank you very much!"

Weiss: "Uh..."

Oobleck: "Come now children, according to my schedule, we are already three minutes behind schedule!"  He zipped towards the Bullhead as the team officially lost their resolve.

Ruby: "Well... alright then...! Looks like we're going to save the world with Doctor Oobleck- Okay yeah when you say it out loud, it sounds worse..."

Autumn: "No shit..."

Nora: "Save the world!?"  Everyone turned around to see team JNPR approaching them.  "You're going on world saving missions without us!? I'm hurt... sad! *grumble* Maybe a little hungry? That last one's not your fault, though, Ren..."  Ren just crossed his arms at her nonsense.

Jaune: "Sound's exciting. Where're you going?"

Ruby: "Oh, just outside of the kingdom."

Nora: "Hey! So are we!"

Pyrrha: "Ren and Nora wanted to shadow the sheriff of a nearby village."

Ren: "We set out tomorrow. "

Sun: "Then you can party with us tonight!"  They turned to see Sun and Neptune approach us.

Akito: "Oh look, it's dumb and dumber..."  He muttered with a sigh as Blake, couldn't help but stifle a laugh.

Neptune: "We're shadowing a crime specialist. All inner city detective stuff. We get junior badges."  He pulled out a badge, with Jaune's eyes immediately lighting up in both amazement and jealously.

Sun: "We normally go to the city with you guys, which means stuff's always exploding and junk, so we thought this might be a better way to check out the kingdom when it's, you know... normal."   Before the conversation could continue, Oobleck's voice rang out from the Bullhead, startling the students.

Oobleck: "Four minutes STUDENTS!"

Ruby: "Well, uh... Wish us luck!"

With that, they parted from the others. Just as Teams RWBY and WOLF entered the Bullhead along with Oobleck, the professor told the pilot to take off and so they did. As they were soaring through the sky, the students began to talk to their Huntsman guide.

Yang: "I guess I just never saw you much of a fighter."

Oobleck: "I admit I fancy myself more of an intellectual, but I can assure you, as a Huntsman, I've had my fair share of tussles."

Ruby: "Like the mushroom?"

Blake: "Those are Truffles."

Ruby: "Like the sprout?"

Yang: "Those are Brussels."

Ruby: "Like the clams?"

Akito: "Those are Mussels." 

He called out before looking towards Setsuna, who... wasn't taking the flight very well. She was sitting on one of the benches in the Bullhead, shaking as she hugged her large tail. He sighed as he watched her before walking over to her, to which the Arctic Wolf immediately clinged onto him for support.

Yang: "Uhh... is she... alright?"

Setsuna: "S-S-Setsuna... n-no like f-f-flying...!!"  She stuttered repeatedly.

Akito: "Yeah... Setsuna and flying don't mix well together..."

Yang and Ruby: "Ooh..." 

Weiss only looked at the white-haired girl in concern and Oobleck in sorry while Blake glanced at her. While she did feel bad for the Arctic Wolf, she couldn't help but get slightly annoyed at the fact that she was clinging to Akito.

Oobleck: "Anyways, given my expertise in the field of history, as well as my dabbling in the archaeological surveys, our dear headmaster saw fit to assign me to this particular... assignment!"

Weiss: "What does history have to do with this?"

Oobleck: "Why what a preposterous question you silly girl! Why, history is the backbone of our very society! And the liver! Probably the kidneys, if I were to wager."

Weiss: "And that means...?"

Oobleck: "The southeast quadrant outside of Vale is home to wild forests and deep caves, but it is also the location to one of the kingdom's greatest failures!"

Ruby: "Mountain Glenn. It was an expansion outside of Vale... but in the end, it was overrun by Grimm and fenced off from the rest of the city."

Oobleck: "Correct! And now it stands abandoned as a dark reminder."

Blake: "And a likely place for a hideout."

Oobleck: "Precisely!"

After a while, the Bullhead landed at its destination, a city in complete ruins and overrun by Grimm.  Even the semi-dark sky showed off the dark atmosphere. They all jumped out, armed and ready. Setsuna however... the moment she touched the ground, she began to kiss it rapidly.

Setsuna: "Solid ground..!! Y-Yes!!"

Spring: "Something's wrong with Setsuna..."

Autumn: "Pfft, she'll be fine!!"  Summer and Winter both let out a collective groan as Akito was blankly staring ahead. Then, Oobleck landed behind the two teams, catching their attention.

Oobleck: "Students! You still may be students but as of this moment, your first mission as Huntresses and a Huntsman has begun! From this point forward, you need to do exactly as I say! Do you understand?"  They nodded their heads before he noticed something.  "Ruby! I thought I told you to leave all of your bags back at school!"

Ruby: "But uh... You hadn't told us to listen to you yet, so I didn't."

Akito: "I mean... she isn't wrong..."

Oobleck: "Indeed she isn't... Very well Ruby, leave your bag here, we can pick it up upon our return."

Ruby: "But I, well... uh-"

Oobleck: "Young lady, what in the world could you possibly have in that bag that could be so important to bring it with-"  He got interrupted as Zwei popped his head out of the bag. WBY, and WOLF leaned over to see the events unfold.

Ruby: "Get back in the bag!"

Zwei: "Arff!"

Oobleck: "We're here to investigate an abandoned urban jungle teeming with death and hostility, and you brought... a dog...?"

Ruby: "I... uh..."

Oobleck: "GENIUS!"

S.S.A.W: "HUH?"  Everyone's eyes widen as Oobleck took Zwei from the backpack and began spinning him around with an amazed smile on his face.

Oobleck: "Canines are historically known for their perceptive nose and heightened sense of sound, making them excellent companions for a hunt such as ours!"  Zwei just barked happily as everyone was staring at him in bewilderment.

Ruby: "I AM A GENIUS!"  She announced proudly as everyone deadpanned at her.

But then.. Weiss suspiciously glanced towards Akito and Setsuna in particularly, mainly at their Faunus features which were of wolves. The two felt the gaze and looked at her. But as Akito analyzed her stare, he quickly caught on to what she was thinking.

Akito: "Don't you even fucking dare think about it.."

Weiss: "W-What!?"  Blake immediately caught on and gave the heiress an annoyed expression while face palming while Setsuna glared at her.

Setsuna: "Racist asshole..."

Weiss: G-Geh!? Setsuna! Watch your tongue!! "

S.S.A.W: "Weiss..."

Blake: "Besides that... what are your orders Doctor?"

Oobleck: "Ah yes, straight to the chase; I like it!"  He dropped Zwei, causing for the poor pup to whine a bit as he walked towards Setsuna in particular, who smiled and picked him up while snuggling into him, which immediately brought the pup's mood back up.  "As you've been informed, the southeast area has been marked as a recent hot spot for Grimm activity. Now, there are several explanations for this behavior, one of which being... Grimm."

Akito looked over his shoulder to see a lone Beowolf walking across the street.

Ruby: "Uh... What?"

Oobleck: "Grimm. A creature of Grimm approximately one hundred yards from us at this very moment."

Yang: "What!?"

The five girls looked in the same direction Akito was looking, also spotting the lone Beowolf. They equipped their weapons but Oobleck stopped them.

Oobleck: "Stop!"

Blake: "Huh?"

Oobleck: "There are a number of reasons why Grimm will congregate in this particular area."

Akito: "The most likely of which will be their attraction to negativity. Correct?"

Oobleck: "Correct! Sadness, envy, loneliness, hatred. All qualities that are likely held by our hidden group harboring ill intent."

Ruby: "So... what now?"

Oobleck: "We wait. We track. If this specimen leads us to its pack, that pack may subsequently lead us to our prey."

Blake: "How long do we wait?"

Oobleck: "It's uncertain. Hours, days, weeks. Why, lone Grimm have been known to stay isolated from the pack for months- and there's the whole pack."

Weiss: "What?"  The lone Beowolf was then joined my multiple. Soon enough, they noticed the team.

Akito: "Oh lookie here, they've seen us."

Weiss: "What!?"  Immediately she flinched as Oobleck yelled.

Oobleck: "NOW THEY'VE SEEN US!"

Ruby: "I take it tracking them is out of the question?"

Oobleck: "An accurate assumption, yes."

Setsuna: "What's the plan then?"  She asked as she gently rested Zwei on the ground. Oobleck only placed his hands behind his back before answering..

Oobleck: "Show me what you're capable of."

Ruby: "Cover your ears Zwei!"

S.S.A.W: "Go team Go! Go team Go!"

As the pup literally covered his adorable ears and the teams heard the four sisters' cheering due to them projecting their telepathy to them, Team RWBY and WOLF charged towards the Grimm pack, weapons in hand. Yang, Setsuna and Blake rushed ahead, the former using Ember Celica to decimate the Grimm with her punches while smiling and the latter using her Gambol Shroud and agility to slice right through a few Grimm. Setsuna while letting out a battle cry, equipped her Ice Wolf Claws as she pounced onto some of the Grimm, ripping through their shadowy skin as Weiss pierced and sliced a few gracefully with Myrtenaster. Ruby hung back, picking off a few with Crescent Rose as Akito dashed past her, Alpha in sword mode while in his left hand, was his GN Long Blade. Dual wilding the two weapons, he twisted his body as the metal blades of his GN Sword and GN Long Blade cleanly sliced through the flesh of the Grimm that surrounded him.

The battle ended as soon as it started Ruby let out a cheer.

Ruby: "Heh, piece of cake!"

Oobleck: "Do not celebrate yet, for I am certain this is the first bout of many. Shall we continue?" 

They all nodded and continued on their massacre of the Grimm. However, as the fighting went on and on, they all eventually began to get exhausted, hunching forwards as they were panting a bit.

Oobleck: "Excellent work people! Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any signs of criminal operations in this sector. Oh well! Moving on!"  They began walking off, weapons in hand before Yang piped up.

Yang: "Hey Doc, ya'know, I was actually looking forward to seeing a pro Huntsman in action. Like, fighting, or at least, helping us fight?"

Oobleck: "Ah, but I am in action! Scouring the ruins of this once great city for any signs of irregularity! Not every mission is filled with daring and heroism. Sometimes it's just a heightened form of extermination! Remember, this is a job and you all signed up for it. I hope you understand that."

Yang: "Well, yeah... O-Of course!"

Oobleck: "Hmm..." 

As the group moved into a different sector, the duo of Team WOLF slightly separated from Team RWBY, moving more to the northern part of the sector. Akito stood on a small hill of rubble, with Alpha in its GN Rifle form as he was blasting a couple of Grimm. As he was, he was startled by Oobleck suddenly speeding behind him, causing him to point the barrel at him.

Oobleck: *unfazed* "Akito! Despite being the infamous Wolf of the White Fang with such a powerful weapon at your hand—"  He was referring to Gundam Exia.  "—you still chose to leave that Organization and become a Huntsman. Why is that?"

Akito: *slowly lowering his weapon* "Well I wasn't really given a choice in the matter... When Ozpin found us, it was either transfer to Beacon or rot in a prison cell."

Oobleck: "Oh but there certainly has to be more to it, no?"

The black haired Wolf glanced at the Doctor, before he looked down the street, where he spotted Setsuna. With a singular Ice Wolf Claw on her left hand, she charged a trio of Beowolves, one of which lunged at her. However, she slid directly under it and ripped through its underside, killing it instantly. As for the others, they both howled and charged at her. With a snarl, her ears folding backwards, she leaped into the air before diving down on one of the Beowolves, stomping its head into the asphalt. The other Beowolf stood on its hind legs and swung one of its paws at her, but Setsuna was too responsive. She rose her right hand, which didn't have a claw on and blocked the strike before she gritted her teeth and forcefully grabbed the Beowolf by the arm. Soon, she lifted it into the air with her eyes glowing a bright blue as she briefly activated her Semblance and she slammed it twice into the asphalt before impaling it onto a pole.

Akito: "When we left the fang, we ended up wandering into the worst Kingdom for Faunus like us; Mistral. Life in that Kingdom was as difficult as I thought it would be... but I had to do something to ensure that we survived. That's when we met him, our savior."  A flash of the Huntsman in the red jacket with the dual pistols appeared in his mind.  "Even though we didn't know each other for long, he treated us like how he'd treat any other person.. not like an animal. When I realized that there were Humans in this world that weren't like the others and when I took Ozpin's offer into consideration, I realized... becoming a Huntsman could work for me. And it worked for Setsuna too. Sure, I miss those I made friends with in the White Fang but... I know, this is what I was destined to do now."

Briefly in his mind, multiple flashes appeared, mainly of other Faunus he met in the White Fang, such as Blake's parents, a darker skinned girl with brown hair tied in a long ponytail and another Wolf Faunus who was a girl with heterochromia. As he looked back towards Setsuna, he saw her give a cheeky grin while giving him a thumbs up, causing him to smile. Then a bit further from her, he spotted Blake, who took a glance at him, a small blush on her face before she quickly looked at him, which caused him to glance away with a faint blush. Noticing all of this, Oobleck smiled and patted the young man on his shoulder.

Oobleck: "Excellent answer, Akito! Now, let us return to the rest of the team."

He looked at him and nodded before the two regrouped with the rest of the team. The first sight they saw was of Ruby with a large piece of chicken on the end of Crescent Rose, while hovering it above Zwei, getting him to do tricks. As she noticed her Professor's arrival, she quickly stopped.

Ruby: "S-Sorry! Uh... are we ready to keep going?"

Oobleck: "Nope! I believe that will have to do for today. It's going to be dark soon."  He then pointed to Weiss, Blake, Yang and Team WOLF.  "You lot, set up camp in that building. Oh, and please do make sure there are no more of those... creatures. Your leader and I are going to secure the perimeter."

Oobleck: "Come, Ruby."

As the two turned to leave, Team WOLF along with Yang, Weiss and Blake entered the building Oobleck pointed out and went a few floors up to set up the campsite. After making sure it was cleared of Grimm, they began setting up. The girls grabbed the sleeping bags while Akito took some wood to create a campfire.

Yang: "Long day huh?"

Blake: "You can say that again."

Yang: "I can't believe we didn't find anything..."

Blake: "We've always been fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time. I guess we can't always have luck on our side."  Akito said nothing and glanced at the girls, noticing their less than excited expressions while Setsuna was just chilling on her sleeping bag.

Weiss: "That's not what I meant..."

Blake: "Huh?"  Everyone turned to look at Weiss, who had her head lowered.

Weiss: "Earlier... about upholding the legacy... There's more to it than why."

Akito: "Oobleck asked you too, huh"

Weiss: "Yeah..."  She nodded. Blake, Akito and Yang remained silent, processing their thoughts as Setsuna only looked confused, since she

Yang: "Yeah... no, me too. I mean... I don't know...

Blake: "I don't know either... I know what I want to do, but I figured I'd always take things one step at a time..." 

Yang: "What about you, Setsu? Did Oobleck ask you why you wanted to be a Huntress?" 

Setsuna: "Uhh.. No? Besides, even if he did, Setsuna never chose this line of work. Though, I don't mind it, so long as Kito and Blake are with me."   She shrugged in a slightly careless manner, though she smiled, causing for Akito to smile a bit while Blake remained silent, but couldn't help but smile as well. Just then, Ruby and Oobleck along with Zwei returned.

Oobleck: "Ah, wonderful; a textbook campfire!"  Upon spotting the campfire, Ruby immediately ran towards it

Ruby: "Fire! So... warm..."

Oobleck: "Very good! Eat your dinners and hurry to bed. We have a lot of ground to cover tomorrow and we'll need you to take turns keeping watch over our temporary abode. Any volunteers for first watch?"  The leader of Team RWBY rose her hand.

Ruby: "Yo."  Oobleck left as Ruby got up to go on watch until Yang stopped her.

Yang: "Hey, did Oobleck ask you why you wanted to be a Huntress? I mean... what did you tell him?"

Ruby: "Hmm... No, he didn't. Oh, well, goodnight guys."  With that disappointing answer, the argent-eyed girl made her way to the vantage point to look out for grim.

A sigh was all that left the lips of Weiss as Yang and Blake were just silent. Setsuna was only confused about why the other girls were in such a foul mood. As for Akito, despite him not being very conflicted by Oobleck asking him the question as to why he chose the path of a Huntsman, was more conflicted about a certain situation, mainly concerning him and Blake. He wasn't the only one as Blake too was having trouble relaying her feelings. Akito scanned the room briefly, taking a glance at the girls, Oobleck, Zwei and one last glance at Blake.

The feline Faunus had felt his gaze and in all honestly, was a bit afraid to look at him. But alas, she couldn't stop herself from turning her head to look at him. Their eyes locked for the first time since the previous night, but it was clear that they both were conflicted. Realizing that they were staring at each other, small blushes creped up on their faces as they glanced away from each other, with Akito clearing his throat.

Akito: "I'm... going up top to take some fresh air.." 

Was all he said before excusing himself. As he left, Blake only sighed and looked down, her hands tightly gripping each other. It seemed as if Oobleck, Weiss and Yang also noticed the situation, just from the atmosphere which had gotten quite...

Yang: "Awkward..."  Blake sighed again and sat down on her sleeping bag, while thinking to herself.

Blake's thoughts: "Things have gotten so awkward between us now... D-Did we move too fast that night..? Did I mess up? *sigh* What do I do, what do I do... How... How can I face him directly again... How can I tell him... Tell Akito that I... That I love him...?"

Weiss: "'Kinda'?"  The heiress gave her a side glance.
